The scenes you experience while progressing the story are top notch and were a perfect fit for a VR title. At one point, you’re in a morgue and have to use one of our gadgets to scan bodies for shrapnel from an explosion at the Penguin’s hideout. These mechanics also work extremely well with the move controllers, which to be honest, is the best way to experience Arkham VR.

It’s not quite ready yet to replace the style and brilliance of the Arkham series as your go-to Batman game, but this could be the beginning of a very special new relationship with Batman, and I sincerely hope we get more like this.

Arkham VR is one of the prettiest virtual reality experiences thus far. It is steady, but unfortunately somewhat short. The interaction had us longing for more though.

Batman Arkham VR is one of the most intense VR experiences out there, even if it's shorter than other titles, It's a "detective mode" experience, so you probably will miss some other areas, like combat or exploration, but... what it does, it does really, really well.

Ultimately, if you don’t mind paying for what could be only an hour of gameplay to experience the excellent story and compelling characters of Rocksteady’s Arkham games, except this time in virtual reality, then Arkham VR will probably be perfect for you and for showing off your new kit to friends and family.

Arkham VR is a limited game but a robust experience, with only some replay value through collectable Riddler trophies dotted around subsequent playthroughs. Like many other VR games it serves well as a showcase for the possibilities of virtual reality, but doesn't offer players an experience with any real depth.

Stunning showcase of VR potential. Batman VR will leave you wanting more, since the experience is so short, but its worth every penny. ThingsStunning showcase of VR potential. Batman VR will leave you wanting more, since the experience is so short, but its worth every penny. Things like character gallery which would be something completely irrelevant in non vr game is turned into fascinating experience. Staring into Killer Crocs face makes you almost feel his foul breath on your face. Yes, i want more, it could be longer, visuals could be slightly better etc etc. but this is still one of the best ps vr experiences you can have right now. Expand
