Ruins of a post-apocalyptic city have great potential but not there yet. The game is bringing up many interesting ideas but those are halfway through it. It's obvious that earlier plans have been much more ambitious, however, their outcome is ruining experience, not to speak of game's difficulty creating an imbalance in it.

At its core, a rather likable and enjoyable adventure game marred by exceptionally low difficulty levels and unimaginative gameplay. The lackluster audio-visual elements further compound its shortcomings. The overall presentation resembles a dated attempt at a children's detective story, catering exclusively to a kids' audience.

Super Mario Party Jamboree for Switch 2 is a missed opportunity. While the core game remains a fantastic party classic, the new Jamboree TV expansion undermines the experience. Instead of one cohesive package, you're left with two separate apps that don't communicate with each other. If you already own Jamboree, there's little reason to upgrade – and if you don't, you're better off grabbing the cheaper original version.

An unexpected blend of modern vampire drama and noir detective fiction. The combat is serviceable, but any excitement it offers gets buried under repetitive city wandering and dull quest design. The first episode of the Game of Thrones adventure is a great advertisement for the TV show. It describes well Martin's world of intrigue, bad characters and thrilling twists. But the game itself is weak. The story feels as a recycled House of Stark destiny, the plot doesn't have a great pace and dialogues are weaker than those in TV series. The second episode will have a lot to improve.

Black Ops III is a proof that it is not always necessary to change the basics at any cost, when you don’t bring a better solution. Especially in single player the creators attempted to make a revolutionary change and unfortunately it ended in disaster. Multiplayer, fortunately, stands on the same principles as in previous parts; it works excellently and entertains players for many hours, even though it brings nothing substantially new. Finally, MP is the only reason, why to play Call of Duty this year.

Syberia returns after 23 years and shines only in part. The world of automatons looks wonderful in its new visuals, and the story remains faithful to the original. If nothing else had been changed, this would have been a dream come true. Unfortunately, the developers could not resist altering certain systems in illogical ways, seemingly neglected proper testing, and outright undermined their own work by leaving several sections in the original visuals, which completely breaks the carefully built immersion. A conflicted return of a cult horror classic that excels in atmosphere, story, and audiovisual presentation, but falters significantly in gameplay. While the eerie Japanese village and its gradually uncovered dark past rank among the genre’s highlights, frustrating and unbalanced combat, confusing navigation, and technical issues heavily undermine the experience. A game with immense potential and a strong core, but one that can only be recommended to the most dedicated horror fans.

I’ll freely admit that Black Legend definitely is original. At the same time, however, it’s ugly and dated, hardly suited for the modern audience.

The top-tier turn-based strategy Songs of Conquest struggles with technical issues on mobile. Its charm and immense fun remain intact, as do the well-thought-out adaptations for touch controls. However, the experience sours when accidental misclicks on the tiny battlefield can be game-changing, and battle load times stretch into tens of seconds.

Homefront, for a second time did not fulfilled the potential and remained an average product. While nothing is too bad, at the same time nothing is great. Korean-to-US invasion theme was spoiled with excessive correctness, the gameplay itself is fine, but the open world feels sterile. Homefront is a game you will play only when nothing better is at hand.

The Hong Kong Massacre is fun to play at its core, but there’s no progress or evolution and soon the shooting becomes tiresome. Other causes of acute disenchantment include bland boss fights, lack of weapons and infuriatingly accurate enemies.

A cute little party game which, unfortunately, just doesn’t reach the same heights as many of its competitors. There’s not much content, the fun doesn’t last for long, and the number of players is severely restricted. This is certainly not a pastime for the whole evening but could entertain you in short stretches.

They didn’t have to make this game. It tries to go in a more action-packed direction than its terrifying predecessor but ends up being frustrating and unnecessarily punishing.

This one looks way better than it plays. Yes, it’s an absolutely stunning tribute to old Japanese samurai movies but as an action game it’s barely passable.

It’s a shallow and repetitive game, but at least it’s fair and understands what makes Alien Alien. Fans of the series and other horror aficionados will, in the end, leave more or less satisfied.

This old-school dungeon mixes the classic genre with modern real-time approach and a great atmosphere - but it’s meant strictly for dungeon-crawling fans. And even they will have to handle quite a few design mistakes.
