RIDE 2 lures with full garage of highly detailed motorcycles, nice tracks and a wide range of settings. Monstrous content was however attached to an uninspired game campaign. Before you manage to discover the whole game, it grows boring.

It's easy to sell goods that are supposed to be good. However, when authors simply copied everything great from the Street Fighter game because they were not able to deal with their own worn-out game concept by themselves, there is something wrong. We want you to better take care of tenderfeet. We want more bonus content. And we want some fresh juice. SoulCalibur is far from going down to the second league, however, there's no play-off this season. Fans of the series will most likely buy it, the rest of you just take it easy and wait for the all-star mainstream: the Street Fighter x Mortal Kombat game.

Smaller, shorter, more straightforward. Chimera Squad builds on the brilliant foundations laid by XCOM 2 but fails to completely replicate its magic, let down by an awful camera, many bugs and several strange design decisions.

The special abilities of your playable character as the game fourth instalment's major crowd-puller are not free and easy as they should be, and from a certain point of view they actually do harm its gameplay. When you look at its content it's the third instalment, only extended. However, it lacks its previous charms. If you carry across some of the problems described in my review, the game will reward you with its crazy and funny experience, which becomes the series' custom. Just lower your expectations before the purchase.

Turmoil is an addictive and pleasantly nostalgic management strategy. In the role of an entrepreneurial discoverer you try to get rich on oil production, but your dream of dollars spewing from the land will not last long. The game campaign soon becomes a stereotype.

An original mix of point-and-click adventure and a turn-based strategy. Its literal dogfights are dirty, brutal and they ooze cyberpunk. It’s not well balanced, though, so don’t expect a masterpiece.

RoadCraft is the most accessible entry in the SnowRunner family, shifting the focus more toward gameplay than simulation. While it strips away some of the entertaining, yet realistic systems from its predecessors, it more than makes up for it with its own innovations. Unfortunately, the simulation lacks consistency, and the game's poor technical performance can easily rob you of hours of driving fun.

A well-made arcade game with a relatively original action concept that works surprisingly well. Onrush would be better with more content, options and deeper system, but the current version can entertain.

Most of Downward Spiral’s fun comes from its untraditional way of movement. You will come across parts where it works perfectly. But then its spell goes away somehow. You can add a point if you have VR glasses at home or a friend who will jump into weightlessness with you.

An entertaining and truly funny game of the turn-based strategy genre. It's very well aware of its inability to compete with the Civilization or XCOM titles, so it approaches the genre in its own way. Because of this the game stumbles along the way sometimes, but for the most part it brings a fresh experience.

House of the Dying Sun is very intense, but also bit short space action. It will please with adrenaline warfare in great pace, but the game content offered is far from enough.

Addition to Prey is decorated with fresh mechanics and an interesting change in the overall pace, but some of the positives of the original have also been sacrificed. In particular, exploration of the environment, atmosphere build-up and the possibility of slow approach. Mooncrash is still worth playing, thanks to the catchy rogue-lite system, meaningful storyline and great music and sound.

Ready, Steady, Ship! is another textbook example of physics-based, chaotic couch co-op games. It doesn't bring anything new to the genre and can be as fun as it is frustrating. However, it's pleasantly accessible, and it's up to you how much you want to take it as a challenge. Nevertheless, the fact that it can be played solo doesn't necessarily mean it's a fully immersive experience. If you've played every other game of this genre and still can't get enough, it will surely entertain you. Otherwise, there are better titles out there.

Realism and fun had met in the new simulator of speedway bikes. The unusual game pleases with professionalism, great sport tactics and DIY. The only cons are an insufficient tutorial and empty multiplayer.

A well-made port that's behaving just right. Because it's the portation of the complete edition of the final instalment you will find all the DLCs here. The end result is that it is a very good fighting game, well-suited for relaxing on your travels.

The core gameplay of Colin McRae Rally is more than solid. Its driving is fun and a challenge at the same time. Several technical issues will get you upset at the very end, but the biggest criticism goes to the surprisingly almost no content. Still, the new Colin McRae game deserves my recommendation, which is valid information at least for the rallye-positive gamers.

Grid Legends is a unique racing game because it actually manages to tell a compelling story. All the rivalries and friendships manifest themselves on the racetrack. The racing itself is quite easy, however, and will not challenge anyone except the beginners.

A classic adventure game with a story full of conspiracy and familiar figures. Its creators honour their own heritage, but they do not risk to stick to it less than firmly. The new Broken Sword is almost identical to the original.

The Crew 2, the open-world racing game offers too many options and often fails to finish its innovative ideas. Still, it is a fantastic game where players with a little patience can have fun for a long time.

Martha Is Dead tells a wicked, confusing and thrilling story of death and plot twists. It’s a short psychological experience, visually stunning but maybe closer to an interactive movie than a true videogame.

Brutal retro massacre. Bloody and bloody difficult, desperately unoriginal, but entertaining in the core– and this is all what matters.

This is a good and fun stealth game that could be so much more, if its rough edges, optimization and level design were polished. Nevertheless, Thief does no dishonour to The Thief.

A beautiful, yet sadly dystopian game. Unfortunately, the playing itself is the least funny part of the game. It’s a must-buy for fans of the Ghiblian-style animation, for others an interesting probe into your own conscience. It’s an enjoyable experience, however you do have to overcome the bad controls during jumping passages, fortunately the game doesn’t have many of those.

The breakthrough hit eludes Spiders once again. This is not the polished diamond the developers might have been hoping for, but it is a fun action RPG with some cool ideas and accessible difficulty.

One of the most original games of today brings the unique gaming system into the post-apocalyptic adventure from the animals perspective. Even though it is one of the worst looking PlayStation 3 titles, from the gamer perspective it delivers.

Hard West tactical strategy game shows Wild West without any frills, but in the same time it does not lose elegance. It is rough, raw, but yet very stylish and motivating. Besides shootouts you will enjoy it´s adventure part. Too bad there are some unsuitable ideas.

A very good survival. It does not offer much originality, but the familiar elements are combined to create a fresh result. Higher ratings are hampered by technical problems, but the game can handle complaints with a great deal of content, a well-balanced gameplay, funny action and, of course, an attractive setting.

Gratuitous Tank Battles is acting like some classic tower defense title. However, after some time there is this "shout boo" and you have to create your own units and you need to unlock the very important weapons through the very same battles as well. After a lapse of time you'll find out the very well-made core of the game, and if you are a toyer you are going to get a lot of fun. Although, if you are looking for some instant tower defense entertainment, you should look elsewhere.

The gigantic world and thirty hours of gameplay at least, which consists of constantly repeating twenty minutes – it's Just Cause 3. It´s necessary to add, that how much entertaining this twenty minutes will be, it's up to you. If you need to relax or to vent some destructive appetites, the game does not disappoint you. Just don’t expect anything else.

A fresh and funny game mainly because of its controls, an interesting and likeable one because of its execution and humour. Dadliest Catch is a little game that's not only capable of pleasing but also drives you wild. The important thing to do is to realize that your nerve-racking is not a flaw but a part of the game. And by the time you see credits rolling on your screen, you will experience this beautiful satisfaction.

In State of Decay 2 we got additions that we didn’t even need, while the mechanics that called for changes (such as fighting) remained without any major interference. The game shoves in multiplayer too much, which degrades some parts of the single-player into a digital chore. Eventually, you may not even appreciate, that the game is bigger than the first one.

Funny, rich and perhaps healthy compilation of a mini-games that will pleasantly exercise your brain.

Renoir combines an interesting logical gameplay with great atmosphere and story. Pity that good mix of entertainment and arts is disrupted with number of different problems. The result could be even better.

A tactical real-time strategy which takes on medieval stories of strong warriors and unchallenged kings. It's not overflowing with originality, but it offers a portion of decent entertainment for several long evenings and not only for history fans and forged strategists. The game is an honest invitation to the dark times of European history, with a few freckles on beauty, but with a fast gradient and accessibility for almost everyone who does not have problems with the RTS genre.

One neat idea manages to move you through the whole game. Even though it's really short one, and its difficulty is set really low, you won't find anything truly bad about it, and maybe you'll be even pleasantly surprised.

Metal Gear series and hardcore beat 'em ups fans will fall in love with this one. They will even extend their experience by replaying the game. They will have no troubles at all with its highly-problematic camera along with its useless junk in the combat system. They will handle it. Gamers outside the fandom do not need to get excited, there is nothing interesting for them.

You no longer have to worry about that Battlefield 3 along with its Close Quarters has become a better copy of the Modern Warfare 3. Close Quarters brings a very different gaming experience that is not for everyone, but the fact that the game's massive multiplayer now possess more of its pleasant possibilities is undeniable. Those of you addicted to tanks and planes should pass Close Quarters and await more open-ended maps in the upcoming additions.

Cities in Motion 2 offers needed immersion along with a well worked out economic model, and city processes interconnection, which will captivate you so much you are going to ignore the game's visible flaws.

Even after all those years with lack of interest Shadow Warrior Redux works. Despite its outdated graphics it's entertaining shooter of pureblood genre and bitter humour. It's a blast from the past when developers had balls.

If you look at its style and atmosphere, Brütal Legend is the amazing journey into the depth of the metal fan's soul. However, the game itself is not so special - stereotypical missions, not very optimized controls but mainly its malfunction game mechanics preventing Tim Schafer to reach the Metal Mount Olympus. Anyway, the game is working and entertaining at the same time. And that is the most important thing about this game title.

Fans of great and unusual stories (but also games that do not give anything for free) should give Pathologic HD chance - they must just swallow the fact the visuals are obsolete and the gameplay is also quite minimalistic.

The Unfinished Swan is a beautifully crafted, unconventional, sophisticated and provocative game denying the gameplay stereotype by a constant surprising of a gamer. The game is resisting to deplete all of its interesting themes in quite possibly the most annoying way - it ends itself in the middle of the road, at the place where the gamer is willing to submit to it completely.

Dead Island: Riptide is not a surprise. It has its dynamic gameplay with a great cooperative mode, however, those Poles might think of a different story next time. And above all, improve its gaming controls along with its interface.

Interactive storytelling proceeding differently every time you play the game. It's short, uncompromising, and if you value games for their ability to tell stories in interactive fashion, you should not miss your opportunity to meet The Yawhg. Just wait for the right moment and the right discount to buy the game because The Yawhg is also a hell of a lot of a short title.

The campaign of the new Call of Duty is unusually stupid, but the multiplayer doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel and cheerfully exploits its attractive Cold War setting. Together with the Zombies mode and Warzone integration, this is one hefty chunk of military content.

Park Beyond will certainly provide you with a few fun evenings full of crazy construction shenanigans. It’s a relaxing game and lets you be creative, more so than some of its competitors, games which concern themselves with such silly concepts as physics and its laws. But apart from that, Park Beyond doesn’t really offer anything extra. There’s not much content and the game doesn’t really feel completely finished.

Not a game without its faults but what it needs to be doing, it does very well - namely the adrenaline-filled, headless ride down the hill.

El Paso, Elsewhere will be a nostalgic journey for many, reminiscent of a time when action games were refreshingly straightforward. Its unique noir-supernatural setting and action sequences filled with slow-motion and flying bullets are engaging. The story keeps you glued to the screen, but the game struggles with a lack of variety. Just a pity that the artificial intelligence leaves much to be desired in the intelligence department.

There are certainly things to enjoy in this redone version of Layers of Fear, especially its visuals and carefully constructed psychological horror elements, perfect for players willing to look for hidden connections. Its attempts to scare you fall a bit flat, however. But while the overall story of the writer is deeply disappointing, the new depressing episode, The Final Notice, is capable of true emotional destruction.

The sympathetic adventure of a courageous salesman, which sometimes suffers from a relatively straightforward gameplay, but it can bewitch you with its atmosphere and the smooth action.

Proun is an attractive ride on an invisible glued tube. You feel shapes, you feel colours, you feel music and you combine all of this and let it roll in your own mind. This game is great. Unfortunately, there is very little of it. Hopefully, there will be more of it. Some day.

If crude humor appeals, and a road trip with friends full of situational comedy, swearing, and bizarre physics antics sounds enticing, this title delivers all of that, plus a charming visual style. Technically it could use some polish, but otherwise it is a more entertaining cooperative romp than expected. There’s no chance of boredom on this journey.

The fourth generation of Pokémon brings several truly important upgrades and changes, but it just as often stands still, stuck in the past.

There may be too many swordfights, especially for those who didn’t enjoy them in the original game, but that’s not the biggest problem of this DLC. Simply put, it’s too short. The interesting story and characters deserve much more room for development.

A good port of the first Max Payne game is spoiled by the only thing - its controls. Even though the control system is adjustable, it is not as impressive as it should be, and it can be annoying from time to time. That's the reason why the gunfights are not entertaining enough as they used to be. However, there is no reason to turn your back on this port because the rest of the game is exactly the same as we've remembered - stylish, rough, funny, and above all of good quality.

A maze for all those virtual tourists and spelunkers, who have deadly desire to find out what is at the end of an alienated underworld city that may constantly surprise you. For instance, with its jumping over platforms, which may be a very unnerving experience.

Vanguard isn’t bad at all but there’s certainly room for improvement. The gunplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful - but the campaign is weak and the multiplayer unbalanced.

An intense and authentic World War 1 shooter with emphasis on caution, tactics and team coordination. Unfortunately, it’s never going to win any beauty contests, and then there’s the real elephant in the room - sparsely populated servers.

Punch Club 2: Fast Forward might deter you with two things – significant grinding and the fact that the sequel doesn't stray far from the original. However, grinding is integral to this game, and the first installment worked beautifully. The sequel also boasts a futuristic setting, consistently great humor, polished audiovisuals, and intriguing stories. If you're looking for something to sink your teeth into this busy year or simply want to unwind with a game, Punch Club 2 will keep you entertained.

XCOM is like a BioShock wannabe. However, its great ambitions have led to its heart attack, and its tedious resuscitation leaves a mark. In the end, it woke up as a totally different game with the entirely new title. Well, the most important thing is that the game works, it entertains, it's looking good, and it runs like a wind. In short, the well-made tactical shooter.

Experience consisting of one very good, one excellent and one weaker episode. Somebody could be annoyed by obvious similarities to its predecessor, but catchy narratives and great characters dismiss these complaints. We grief just the oddly vague ending.

Kvark is a decent shooter that plays well overall. While it loses some momentum in the second of its three acts, it regains its stride by the end, especially when transitioning from claustrophobic underground complexes to surface locations. Unfortunately, it doesn't fully capitalize on its period setting and its attempts at humor fall flat.

There are titles that do not need too much invention. A good workmanship in a cleverly chosen environment and a little creative tenderness are enough. The result are inconspicuous gaming pearls, whose are a joy to collect and play. Nantucket is exactly such a game.

The idea behind Beautiful Desolation is, unfortunately, its greatest success, let down by the way the game itself works. Still, this quaint trip into a world of post-apocalyptic retro-futurism is worth a try.

Gamedec is a fascinating detective RPG where even a bad call can lead to interesting outcomes. The setting is very original, a blend of our reality and a virtual world. But the story loses its breath somewhere along the way which is a real shame.

Rise of Iron is a solid DLC that is almost flawless, but lacks anything new. Bungie simply prolongs the Destiny lifespan through the old-new content and doesn't hide the fact that it is a service for players who remained loyal to the game. If you want to enjoy Rise of Iron, you must really love Destiny and be willing to spend another dozens of hours doing the same things, you were doing for the past year. There is a new location, social space, weapons, basically everything you'd expect from the DLC. It just lacks inventiveness.

Pathway is… fine. It has brilliant atmosphere and is solidly designed. But in the end, the concept is just too simple and cannot carry the game all the way to its conclusion.

Anno 1800 finally returns to its historical roots, enriched by elegant graphics and complex city management. But other half-baked features drag it down - namely diplomacy, warfare and maritime trade.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is, more than anything else, a light remaster of the previous instalment. It’s really pretty and its minigames are fun, but if you’re looking for anything significantly new, you’ll be disappointed. If you own CMS2018 with all its DLCs, there’s little reason to switch to the new one.

Codemasters have managed to return with honour, however, they've brought nothing new to the table, and by messing about with the time-proven mechanics they are losing their chances to win. This instalment is going to have a hard time in the hands of the original title fans, who still wear their rose-coloured glasses. However, if you are hungry for some racing, GRID 2 serves much better than you think.

A very complex, but also quite accessible turn-based strategy from AGEod Studios that aims to simulate all the complexities of ancient civilizations. Yes, there are minor pratfalls and lapses, but a patient general will succumb to its charms all the same.

Quite a decent expansion pack that's been trying to look big. However, this expansion was made for a bad game, in which only a half of things actually work, and whose potential wasn't fulfilled even over rich history of the series. A value of this expansion pack is not worth its price. Even though the original game is bad enough, the expansion pack is helping to overcome this problem - mainly because of its great religions.

Everyone would want a laser slicer that cuts a single column size of the Žižkov Television Tower in half. Grandpa's Leftovers truly puts you a tool like that into your hands. Too bad this original arcade game is terribly short.

When you look at it it's a captivating tour along the foreign culture and child's phantasy that is in fact a sanctuary against real demons lurking behind three-dimensional puzzles. Playful and at the same time mature game experience, whose concept works only halfway through. But when it works, it pushes your emotions forward.

Tropico 6 is easy on the eye, complex, diverse and fun, but at the same time very similar to its predecessors. Other faults include illogical design decisions and technical difficulties.

A mature RPG that's been suffering from bad technical quality, repeating of the same in-game situations and from the excessively fast monster respawn. If you manage to get over these flaws, you are going to be rewarded with nice gameplay, a well-made motion control system and especially with its emotional story with five different endings.
