Feb 2, 2023Sunday Gold is a bold, flashy experiment, merging a point-and-click adventure game with heavy tactical RPG elements. Kinetic, beautiful, and bursting with character, it serves up a brand new way to look at the adventure game genre.
-
Sep 12, 2022Successfully marrying two completely different types of gameplay while still making sure they're sufficiently deep is no mean feat, but Sunday Gold offers up that and more with its excellent gameplay and lovable cast of foul-mouthed characters.
-
Oct 19, 2022Sunday Gold is a pretty decent turned-based action RPG with an acceptable story that carries the player until the end but there is so much lost potential in it as well. The art of Sunday Gold on the other hand fits its world perfectly and we can see the first legacy of Disco Elysium art style in this game. The gameplay of Sunday Gold is pretty straightforward and fun, something we don’t see much these days. I wished they made or used better music for the game, but it wouldn’t be right to not point out the fantastic job the sound editor of this game did.

Sep 20, 2022Sunday Gold is raw gold. Guided by a delightful art direction, Sunday Gold competently fuses the elements of RPG combat with a point-and-click adventure. While somewhat short and shallow in some aspects, it's quite fun and interesting enough to leave me yearning for more action with Frank, Sally and Gavin.
-
Oct 13, 2022A graphic adventure with good ideas and novelties but too slow and complicated in some puzzles.
-
Sep 13, 2022Sunday Gold is undoubtedly a good game, full of courage and original ideas. Too bad that not everything mixes perfectly and ends up flying over some parts.
-
Sep 12, 2022A silky, suave graphic novel art-style and engaging Cyberpunk world can’t save Sunday Gold. With every strength on offer comes some weird design choices or bugs that will ruin your fun at every turn. This game is an experimental risk, blending both the point-and-click genre with turn-based combat, peppering in RPG progression. That mixture shows promise at the start but ultimately ends up being an average net loss. A gamble that’s not worth taking. Don’t place your bets on this one. Go all in elsewhere.
