It retains everything that makes it great on more powerful consoles, though with lower graphical quality. Still, it offers a generous amount of content for fighting game fans on Nintendo’s hybrid console.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection brings the entire series to modern consoles with obvious graphical improvements and a few extras. Fans will be delighted to try one of the games from the collection that was only released in Japan, although it is not translated into Spanish and still feels like a simple compilation.

Splatoon 3 is the definitive title of the series since it improves remarkably in comparison to its predecessors. It feels somewhat continuous but manages to keep some things dynamic with its improved gameplay. It is a game that everyone can play in co-op mode without the need to know the previous games.

Despite having some flaws from the original game, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the definitive version of a beloved classic that is still entertaining to play. Now more than ever, the game is playable and enjoyable thanks to updates to the graphics and gameplay.

Triangle Strategy is a turn-based strategy game that everybody will love. The plot is thick and will make us read dialogues for several hours, but this is compensated for by its unique characters and the game system.

MLB The Show 25 remains a solid baseball game. However, it lacks significant changes from its previous version. The addition of High School and College/University play feels limited with only eight teams. Paying $70 for a roster update and a few minor tweaks doesn’t seem worth it.

In a “Diabolic” tone, V Rising takes us on a hunt for demons, undead and mythological beasts; in a world where vampires don't control everything. Hiding from the sun has never been so fun in this survival adventure where we are promised long hours of play.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a pure strategy game that lovers of the genre will enjoy. As a remake it does very well, both with the aesthetic change and with the new additions. Things get better with the multiplayer, although in the online part they limited the matchmaking a lot. Without a doubt, a classic that comes back to life.

Grounded is a different formula in the survival game genre that stands out for its nature. It is not different from its other relatives, but it does have that touch of continuity (a bit monotonous) that will give us several hours of play.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 for Nintendo Switch 2 stands as the best version of one of the franchise’s greatest entries, letting players enjoy it both on TV and in handheld mode. With optimized visuals, full Spanish text support, dynamic combat, and the unmistakable storytelling style of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. While the portable mode doesn’t fully showcase its graphical potential, it remains an excellent way to continue the saga on the go.

This is the game that the community needed, with ups and downs in its first days of release and best of all, it has outstanding graphics. Playing it alone is not recommended, but getting together with your colleagues to spend a few good hours without worrying about your surroundings is the best therapy.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition does not seek to reinvent the original; rather, it aims to provide a smoother experience for Switch 2 owners looking to play under the best possible conditions. Moreover, it serves as a great excuse for those wanting to return to a highly entertaining virtual life.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined transforms the franchise's most infamous classic entry into a title much closer to what genre fans want. It sheds the filler content and trades a plodding pace for a more dynamic flow. On the gameplay front, it introduces modern mechanics that make the experience more accessible. Technically, it is a beautiful title, and its soundtrack remains sublime.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for PS5 is a good way to get into the franchise, even if we haven't played a previous game in the series. It is a game with a charming story, memorable characters and quite long. Its gameplay is fun, strategic and seamless. Graphically superior but with those old-fashioned textures.

Ghostwire: Tokyo for Xbox Series X/S is a good option for those fans who couldn't enjoy it due to exclusivity. Although it has some flaws, it is an entertaining game that recreates the city of Tokyo and part of its culture very well. The addition of a new mode is already a reason to try the game.

The Outer Worlds 2 returns with a far more ambitious vision, refining many of the aspects that felt unfinished in the first game — including a revamped combat system, improved companion management, and other key mechanics. It’s classic Obsidian: full of moral choices, complex characters, and a story that adapts to every decision you make. Technically, it surpasses the original (and even Avowed), though there’s still room for improvement. It’s one of those games where no two playthroughs will ever feel the same.

Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition is the version that helps those who have not played it yet or those who want live the full experience. The third-person perspective switch works very well, the Mercenary Mode is a nice improvement and the expansion does its job. However, compared to other Gold Editions of previous games, it falls short in terms of content.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 takes the easy route by delivering a game that feels almost identical to the previous remaster, but falls short due to a number of choices that cut back on the original content. With nearly unchanged gameplay, little to no meaningful innovation, trimmed features, and underwhelming visuals, the overall experience ends up feeling diminished.

Stray is interesting but it needs some details to be the "perfect" game. It has excellent graphics but its monotony makes it boring and the solution of puzzles is quite basic. It will give you hours of play only if you like to see a cat jumping from one side to another.

NBA 2K26 stands as the best entry in the series to date. Visual Concepts has further refined the gameplay, delivering greater realism and a more balanced reward system for the benefit of players. The WNBA plays a larger role in this installment, with expanded integration of both women’s and men’s basketball. MyTEAM feels more exciting than ever, while the new ProPLAY Motion Engine and rhythmic shooting system far surpass the previous games, offering the most authentic NBA simulation yet.

This is a game that refreshes our routine and is more fun with friends but can also be enjoyed alone. Although the graphics are impressive, there is room for improvement in terms of exploration and less repetitive missions. We can progress and improve our Marine to play our way. To fight boredom, a PvP mode is included that provides a unique experience but there is so much action happening that you won’t know what’s going on around you.

Super Mario Party Jamboree once again brings us all the fun that fans of the franchise are used to. It has 9 game modes and more than 100 minigames, including classics, clever ones and new additions that will keep us busy a long time. Not all the content is perfect, but the game is one of the best at entertaining.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is little more than a superficial facelift of the game we saw back in 2006. It offers very few meaningful improvements and still suffers from the same bugs as the original release—along with some new ones that can even break your save files.

Battlefield 6 is both the most ambitious and the biggest letdown in the series. It wastes its huge potential with a boring campaign and a multiplayer mode that only looks good. After a few hours, it feels repetitive and loses its identity by trying too hard to be like Call of Duty instead of staying true to what made Battlefield special. The Escalation and Portal modes are the only real highlights, with Portal standing out thanks to the creativity of the community. Despite great sound design, Battlefield 6 misses the most important thing which is originality and heart.

This War of Mine: Final Cut is not the survival game that we know. It is a game that teaches the brutal part of wars, history and its mechanics. As a console edition it is impressive with additional graphics work and new stories; the controls can be a little tricky, though it is highly enjoyable.

This expansion is full of new stories to learn, with improved graphics and art. It has many places to see, new races with which to become familiar and develop. Unfortunately the gameplay changes are not that significant. In any case, there is still a lot to see about Dragonflight.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds doesn’t reinvent the wheel for the genre, but it puts its own spin on things with dimension-hopping tracks and deep customization for both vehicles and abilities. There’s plenty of content to enjoy, especially with friends, and the charming cast pulls from both Sonic and other Sega franchises. It sticks to what works, but it does so well enough to make it highly recommended.

Visual Concepts has been able to make one of the best WWE games to this date. WWE 2K23 has the chemistry players have been waiting for a long time thanks to its amazing graphics and great optimization. On PS5 it runs pretty well but they could have done a better job with the DualSense compatibility, the soundtrack could have been much better. This does not take away all the good work done in the game. John Cena is the gold card along with WarGames which is the icing on the cake.

Tales of Graces f Remastered now reaches a broader audience as one of the most acclaimed entries in the series. While its world feels somewhat linear, it features one of the franchise's best battle systems, offering dynamic and varied combat to make up for it. The remaster includes several enhancements, such as improved frame rates, adjustments for HD screens, and practical tweaks. For those who didn’t get a chance to play it before, this is an excellent opportunity.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is a full blown expansion. It feels somewhat short for what the series usually is, but it has quality content. We have new areas, weapons, enemies and of course ways to kill them. After checking its graphics, it is understood why PS4 was not part of the equation.

Fantasian: Neo Dimension is fun and will be loved by those who enjoy this type of RPG. However, the game has some flaws, such as its linear story and annoying random battles. Despite this, it is worth trying for what it represents to fans of the genre.

In Live A Live we have 8 different stories, each one with its peculiarities, which makes it an experimental but successful RPG. RPG lovers should give it a try so they don't miss out on that part of video game history.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is the long-awaited sequel that ends the story of the series in the city of Crossbell and does so in style. Although the game maintains many of its bases compared to its predecessor, it is an interesting game that improves and expands on some aspects. Fans of the series will love it because it is one of those lost gems that was able to transcend borders.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, while sitting between a remaster and a remake, remains a challenging and enjoyable game with enhanced visuals, new adjustments, and additional content. These changes eliminate most of the issues that frustrated fans of the Sigma version, making this possibly the best edition of the game to date.

WWE 2K is a franchise that is getting stronger as the years go by. 2K Games and Visual Concepts have taken the series on the right path. The Ambulance Match mode is the most exciting, the entrances are now different and gives it much more realism. The defects in the game are few, the gameplay is more arcade than the previous ones and that makes WWE 2K24 a good place for fans of the genre.

Grand Theft Auto 5 for Playstation 5 remains a game to consider, especially with the graphics enhancements implemented and the new options. However, with visual enhancements and new multiplayer content, we're still waiting on GTA 6.

F1 23 is a face wash that promises to give us the best immersion possible without even getting better over the years. With the new circuits, the game appears more modern and fresh.

A collection of two games that were previously exclusive to Nintendo are now coming to modern consoles with visual improvements. We will have a good number of hours with the DNA of Monster Hunter mixed with the RPG genre. However, it feels like a brief collection that does not offer anything beyond the visual.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key follows in the footsteps of its predecessors with some interesting new features. The game is set after the events of the second game. Combat remains just as dynamic and even more so with new key crafting options. This one is much more open and dynamic.

Deadlink is a game that challenges us with each new run we try. Those who enjoy fast-paced FPS games will find their fit here. However, it is not as complicated as other FPSs, and the Live, Die, Repeat gameplay may not appeal to everyone.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is possibly the greatest fighting game ever made. It greatly outperforms the previous one with its amazing graphics, multiple game modes, speedy gameplay, and unlockable characters—over 180 in total. It's one of those games that gets better the more you play. Unquestionably, Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoff have created the ultimate fighting game.

Marathon is an addictive extraction shooter with the unmistakable hallmark of Bungie. Its hostile map Tau Ceti IV offers great tension and survival, standing out for its colorful aesthetic and an accessible learning curve. Although the on-screen interface is overwhelming and gives the feeling that it could have launched more polished, its solid endgame content makes up for the experience.

WWE 2K23 feels pretty good with at least the two modes available to try. Slingshot technology makes the experience totally different. WarGames mode gives the game quite a fresh air where players can enjoy the challenges either single player or multiplayer. The graphics have been improved compared to the previous ones and we finally have a good optimization, better times when loading the screen without leaving aside an improved mechanic that makes us enjoy every wrestler. Marvel's Midnight Suns can be considered one of the best hero-based strategy games. It has that MCU twist we all know and feels more like a Marvel's Ultimate Alliance spin-off at the same time. The combat system is very intuitive but something is missing. 100% recommended to fans of this genre and comics.

This is another necessary port for PC Gamers, the large number of levels and hours of entertainment are the strong point here. Unfortunately we will need a powerful GPU to get the most out of it visually, which at the same time is unnecessary. The gaming experience with the DualSense on PC is out of this world.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy follows in the footsteps of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles by offering a compilation of three Nintendo DS games with their respective improvements and introducing a new protagonist. However, Phoenix is still way better than Apollo.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is a well-deserved update to one of the franchise’s highest-rated entries. While the added content is fairly modest, it remains the perfect entry point for anyone looking to dive into the world of the “Dragon of Dojima.”

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail has changes in the direction of this MMO after 10 years of its initial release. Dawntrail has a slower pace, but once we get down to it, we will find everything that makes this title special.

We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie is still such a wacky and oddly fun title, as long as we like this kind of genre. As a sequel it improves some aspects of the gameplay, but very short in terms of content. We are going to be quite entertained up to a certain point and that is the only relevant thing.

Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra is a bold move for the franchise, venturing into the MOBA genre with a result that works and is fun to play, but still needs a bit more refinement to reach its full potential. Improving character balance, refining the interface and adding more interaction with the environments. Still, fans of the series are going to enjoy it.

Company of Heroes 3 has an immersive and realistic gameplay, stunning graphics, audio design and overwall a great attention to every detail. The variety of units and tactical options available make the game feel quite varied, as well as the game's focus on strategic decision-making and resource management. Being able to make your own choice in the campaign makes the game unique. I had a nice experience but not having a simple tutorial can be overwhelming in some cases.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! It is a very Yakuza-like game but in a Feudal Japan setting. It's great to see familiar faces in another setting and interpreting a story based on true events. It maintains the playable bases of the series as well as its mechanics that will keep us busy for a long time.

Stellar Blade takes the best of the Soulslike genre and the NieR: Automata game to give us a game full of unbridled action whose protagonist will win the hearts of all of us. It is a challenging game that encourages you to be risky and has very grotesque-looking enemy designs.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster brings back two classic JRPGs that defined an era, though as a remaster, it sticks to the basics with visual upgrades, quality-of-life adjustments, a Gallery Mode, and a few extras. However, these are two deep stories of war and betrayal that are well worth experiencing for fans of classic role-playing games.

With breathtaking concept art, stunning graphics and sceneries, wonderful score, and one of the most fulfilling playabilities we've seen in role-playing games, Black Myth: Wukong is unquestionably a Game Of The Year candidate, promising a bright future for the genre's fans.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is an intriguing journey that rises beyond its predecessor in multiple areas. Ninja Theory offers a story of growth, acceptance and maturity. The game delights our eyes visually by utilizing the Xbox Series X to its maximum potential. The combat feels good but is quite the same from the original Hellblade.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes feels like a well made crafted game with very fast and direct action. The game inherits many of the mechanics from the main game. It's not just pressing buttons like crazy, it's knowing how to play it as the original game.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is the update needed to bring back those lost fans. Although it has had some bugs since its launch, it is a more fun and realistic Battle Royale than its predecessor. DMZ mode takes more time to evolve but is an excellent addition to the formula.

Fire Emblem Engage will delight fans of the series with its use of rings and heroes from previous games. It may feel a little simpler than Three Houses in some ways, but it's still a good game.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a great spin-off with a different gameplay from the original. Being able to manage our hero simultaneously and overcome challenges is just as successful as eliminating demons with our hair. Its story that tells us the origins of Bayonetta, not to mention its attractive artistic section worthy of a Tim Burton work.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is a direct action RPG that offers interesting mechanics to the Ys formula. It will delight fans of the series and even lovers of the action genre. Although graphically it is not up to the current generation, it is still a good title that will give us several hours of fun.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a very stable port that fits the capabilities of the Switch 2 remarkably well. While it does come with some technical compromises, it still delivers a version well-suited for anyone looking for a solid open-world experience.

The game aims to be the ultimate golf simulator. The Ranked Tours mode is highly engaging, allowing players to compete and showcase their skills. Gameplay mechanics are more refined than in previous entries, with the addition of EvoSwing and Perfect Swing for an improved experience. Alongside stunning graphics optimized for the current generation, it delivers a top-tier golfing experience.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a 2011 remaster that enhances an already fantastic game. Introduce a new campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog, who has unique abilities and powers to explore large and secret levels. Assetto Corsa Competizione is a game for a unique fan-based because it contains features for expert gamers in search of a large-scale simulation experience.

If we manage our expectations, Avowed proves to be an enjoyable game that fulfills its goal of entertaining. However, its gameplay leans more toward action than RPG mechanics, with noticeable simplifications. Many of the tasks feel repetitive, as they’ve been seen countless times before. On top of that, narratively, it’s far from Obsidian’s magnum opus.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War for Switch is an enjoyable game in its portable version. Killing zombies with this slow motion effect is still the highlight although we can't pass up the coop features that the game has. It lacks different zombie types and some graphic details but it is still one of the best zombie experiences.

Persona 3 Portable is a simple but livelier version of the original PS2 game. It has enough additions to immerse us in its twisted world of shadows. Highlights the choice of the female protagonist as a playable character offers a different point of view. She may be more to the point, but she's still Persona.

Despite a few minor areas that could use improvement and a noticeable touch of AI implementation, it remains an engaging experience that keeps players hooked right up to the final credits.

Combining several related genres, Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess offers us a twisted perspective of Japanese folklore with an entertaining plot. While there are a lot of things that could have done better, in general, it delivers according to its promise.

WWE 2K25 is the best wrestling game ever made so far. Visual Concepts has refined the series over the years, and this edition delivers more realistic graphics, polished gameplay, and The Island mode, which is the cherry on top.

Reanimal is a well-executed blend of a terrifying, grim atmosphere and a fresh twist on gameplay: co-op and 3D environments. The game masterfully handles exploration, puzzle-solving, and preying upon our deepest fears. Complementing this is a cooperative mode that fits the formula perfectly. It doesn't aim to break the mold, but stands as a worthy successor to the original Little Nightmares.

Persona 3 Reload is a remake that fits surprisingly well on the Switch 2. It’s a solid choice for owners of the console and longtime Atlus fans. While most of its visual quality is intact, the framerate is locked at 30fps in both modes — a strange decision that’s sure to spark debate. Aside from that, it’s a strong port overall but fans will definitely miss the Episode Aegis expansion.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink aims at the action RPG genre with a fresh and fun proposal. The battle system is differentiated by the number of playable characters that are very different from each other, with their own mechanics. Of course, some mechanics have been simplified and others developed that role-playing games usually have but that, in general terms, lovers of this style of game will love.

Card Shark is quite entertaining, it makes you learn lots of card tricks. The most interesting thing is how competitive it can be even for a game like this.

The PC version of WWE 2K26 shines with its excellent stability, superior graphics, and great immersion. Although its initial menu is overwhelming and the visual options are somewhat limited, the decision to play it safe and lock it at 60FPS guarantees flawless, well-optimized gameplay so that any system can run it without issues.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is the latest entry in the rhythm and music franchise, which relies on the motion controls of the Switch. It is still a fun game that makes a low risk bet from what has been seen before. However, it is a very fair version, since it has few game modes, although it has a large number of songs to master.

Shadows possesses the ingredients of a practically perfect Assassin's Creed videogame, but falls on its face over the same old mistakes from the Ubisoft playbook.

F1 22 takes another step forward and surpasses everything we saw in the previous game, better graphics level and new modes to improve the experience. Codemasters and EA Sports have put their best into this game. I can say that F1 22 is one of the most outstanding racing games that have been released this year.

Dying Light: The Beast arrives as the long-awaited sequel after nearly a decade, bringing back the character who defined countless hours of gameplay. It feels like the most balanced entry in the franchise, blending classic elements with modern touches.
