Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes the franchise into new waters, putting players in command of a pirate ship and crew, blending beat 'em up action with naval combat. It retains the signature mature and irreverent style that fans love. While it feels somewhat toned down, possibly due to being a spin-off, it still offers an entertaining experience.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven tries to be a remake but fails in so many areas. It is a product that is very close to the original, with hardly any significant changes beyond the new visuals. It has a dull story and forgettable characters. Thanks to all the backstory the Alien franchise has given it, this RTS features a lot of potential. Although it is extremely demanding when playing on a PC, the visual and audio quality is decent. Its main problem is the camera controls because they are a little odd as well as difficult to use. At first, the game is pretty boring, but after that, it can be enjoyable.

This is a collection of three classic games that were forgotten, but thanks to this remaster we will be able to play. It brings us the necessary nostalgia to give us a taste of what the games of the 90s were like. It is not at the level of The Cowabunga Collection but at least it offers some interesting addons.

Patapon 1+2 Replay is a collection of two beloved titles that have stood the test of time. Both games are easy to pick up but offer a fair learning curve, with a clever mix of rhythm and strategy that will have players humming along to the beat. As a remaster, it only includes the essential updates to run on modern consoles, and it’s unclear why the third installment wasn’t included. Still, it remains a solid and enjoyable collection.

While Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon borrows heavily from The Elder Scrolls series—comparisons are inevitable—several of its gameplay systems are distinct enough to set it apart from Bethesda’s titles. Sure, it has some graphical issues, but that's fairly common in games of this kind. If we had to call it something, I’d say it's a spiritual successor with plenty of attitude.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection continues the compilations of classic games featuring Capcom's blue hero. It brings with it the typical modern additions such as graphical improvements, updated settings, new modes, and a gallery with its own music player. That said, it inherits some limitations from the original titles, but overall, it is an enjoyable product.

This game has everything to be the best in its genre and it does it well with an excellent narrative, graphics and impressive details. It runs a bit heavy for some players on PC. The co-op mode is one of the best features of all, though not having cross-play takes away the real fun. Slaying zombies isn't hard until you hit the streets of Hell-A and want to get out alive.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are two classics that capture the traditional Pokémon essence, arriving on the Nintendo Switch with rather sparse enhancements. Fundamentally, they are the exact same games from 2004, featuring only the most minimal of modern tweaks. That aside, they remain two classics from the franchise's golden era, now available on the Switch.

Emio - The Smiling Man is a game from a classic series returning for Nintendo Switch. It's a linear game that focuses on exploration, investigation, and puzzle-solving, but lacks much interactivity. It constantly forces you to guess the next option, which can be frustrating. Its story based on an urban legend and its enigmatic enemy are the most striking aspects, but its low replayability makes it just another boring game.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 serves as Sega's apology for the original game's troubled launch back in 2007. It delivers exactly what you would expect from a remake in this franchise: a mature narrative with specific tweaks, hundreds of side activities, a revamped combat system, and a brand-new expansion. While there are certainly areas for improvement, there is nothing here to cause alarm.
