Moving Out 2 is the same as the first game. And that's the biggest problem. You get the same thing again, with more content, but the same thing. The same graphics, the same sound, the same mechanics. It's still fun, but you want something better, more varied, more variable, newer.

Fort Solis is a pleasant, intimate sci-fi horror, but it could have been more. And that's the problem with the game. Everything here is good, but not enough. Ideas alone aren't enough; they need proper execution. Despite an imaginative and well-crafted story wrapped in gameplay, the game eventually becomes very repetitive. However, the short gameplay of the DLC offers limited space for addressing the character's relationship issues. For fans of the series, Burning Shores offers a good excuse to return to the world filled with robotic monsters with a few new challenges. Nevertheless, the DLC fails to deliver a meaningful story and deeper character development that would make Burning Shores a must-play expansion for the players.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an excellent game that brings many improvements compared to its predecessor in every area. Moreover, these changes are not just for show, but are all in response to player feedback. Richer worlds, more varied combat styles, additional content, and numerous smaller innovations take the game to a new level. However, the game's performance cannot be bad like this.

Everspace II is a great trip to the stars and planets, where your spaceship really has a lot of uses. It manifests itself in combat, when completing tasks (sometimes with puzzle elements) and developing the story. It is massive, fun, you will spend dozens of hours exploring the corners of the universe.

Chess in an unconventional presentation brings fun and interesting possibilities, but it is repetitive over time and has only simple graphics.

The (old) new adventure of Sherlock Holmes was a success. The tentacle madness grabs you by the throat and the first big case of the duo Sherlock and John is on the way to a successful series. The Lovecraftian plot makes the detective much more special and greenlights more cases. The Awakened is more than a successful case of Sherlock Holmes.

Terra Nil completely turned the concept of city bulider strategy on its head. Instead of building cities in it, you restore the ecosystem and you can relax incredibly.

I can recommend MLB The Show 23, but not to everyone. It's a very good game that even players who aren't necessarily baseball fans can enjoy. And that's totally cool. Other sports series should also have such options. However, in terms of content, there are very few changes. The educational story mode in The Negro Leagues is great. Some minor changes in other modes are also nice. But it's more like an expansion of 22. Even on the technical side and also on the rules side.

Return of Advance Wars is great news. After 20 years you have compilation of two catchy strategies with vast amount of gameplay. Both campaigns are a bit uneven (favoring the second one), but good tutorials and fast pace will help you. Jumping difficulty could be challenge but overall you have a classic Nintendo package not to miss.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution isn't a bad game, but it's still a bit disappointing. Instead of a true sequel, we got a bloated expansion that loses the sense of improvements and progression. It's like you're just playing a new story in an old game. Plus, it doesn't help that a stereotype creeps in over time.

If you are fans of old-school gameplay, tactical combat and lengthy dialogues, you will enjoy Tactics Ogre like other players 25 years ago. But this time with some improvements, on various platforms and for price around 50 EUR.

Dead Island 2 departs from the original setting of an island and takes place in a zombie-infested Los Angeles. The game now offers a semi-open world, featuring satisfying combat mechanics, a vast array of upgradable weapons, and intense battles against hordes of zombies.

Big thanks to the authors for choosing WW1 which is unique in this genre. The campaign is a bit clunky, but the combat is unique and contains unusual elements and mechanics that you don't normally see in other RTS.

Purely block-based Minecraft world returns, but with a truly unexpected, sometimes tiny bit shallow, RTS twist. This tactical adventure is bright, saturated, full of fresh ideas and with its PVP/co-op content, crafted especially for you and your fellow builders. It’s time to grab your gaming tools, gather the resources and mount your favourite animal, because this minecart joyride is supposedly only the beginning.

The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR is not a bad game, but it is certainly a disappointment. We expect more from Supermassive. Similarly, we expect more from PSVR 2. The gameplay is too ordinary and schematic, lacking more interesting ideas and features. Although the action is still fun, that is no longer enough.
