Finally, the new characters in The Mercenaries are valid additions, but needing to unlock them is unnecessary and because of this it is possible that many players will not even see them.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is a hot coffee in a rainy day, a safe bet from the developers by not straying too far from the formula established with the first game.

The First Berserker: Khazan is yet another great action RPG that, although it uses concepts from the soulslike formula, is still able to deliver intense and satisfying combat to make it unique. Some decisions in the art direction make its visuals a little repetitive in the final stretch of the campaign, but overall it is a game easily recommended for fans of the genre.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is a simple and fun platformer. With accessible gameplay, this is a fairly faithful remake that significantly revamped the original's graphics. Despite offering many collectibles and challenges, the campaign is relatively short.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is both a love letter to what the series once was and a reflection on what its future might look with the power of current gen consoles. While the story and gameplay excite players and bring an unexpected depth, it falls short of its potential thanks to its technical limitations.

#BLUD offers an immersive experience with a captivating narrative. The cartoonish art provides a pleasant look that reminds you of watching a cartoon. The fluid gameplay and exploration elements are reminiscent of classic games, but with a pleasing modernity. The effective soundtrack in moments of suspense adds to the immersion. However, right now, the game is hampered by significant technical problems, such as crashes and loss of progress, which are expected to be fixed in future updates. In short, #BLUD is fun and immersive, but it needs technical improvements to reach its full potential.

Sonic Origins Plus is an interesting package in theory, but it doesn't add enough relevant content. Amy is definitely cool to be playable, but her moves are pretty simple. And Game Gear games are a good way to remember the past (even with the strange sound), but it's inexplicable not having Master System games. PS: the score reflects the entire package with the base game and not just the DLC.

Despite the impression of being an unpretentious and simple game, Pocky & Rocky Reshrined provides a great time. The gameplay is functional and challenging in the right measure. The graphics are good and the animations are excellent. The soundtrack is impeccable. The game delivered by Tengo Project is exemplary in many departments, but some questionable implementations and the lack of online co-op and content compromises the overall experience.

The Making of Karateka is a history lesson. A complete package for those who want to get to know Jordan Mechnerâ's first works. The "making of" part is great and bringing the different versions is essential for preservation. However, for those looking for gameplay and don't care about this historical side, you may be disappointed that we basically only have two very short games. In addition, there are no support for Brazilian Portuguese, which makes accessibility to the "making of" material difficult in our country.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a beautiful example of adaptation and a clear evolution compared to the first game in the series. The sequel greatly expands the cast, refines the exploration, narrative, and combat systems, and offers the best visuals the subgenre can currently achieve.

MLB The Show 24 is a great baseball simulator and one of the most competent sports games on the market. This year's Storylines are excellent and the new features in Road to the Show add a lot to the solo experience, even if there is a lack of novelty in other modes.

Persona 3 Reload - Episode Aigis: The Answer is the perfect epilogue to one of the best games of the year. The DLC offers an exceptional narrative about loss, grief, and moving on that brings the characters to a close, while also bringing more of the combat and exploration that make the game so special.

DNF Duel is a good game with beautiful graphics and accessible mechanics. The cast of characters is relatively varied and the modes are what we currently expect from a fighting title. Online is great with its netcode via rollback, although there is no cross-play. DNF Duel's biggest problem is perhaps its lack of innovation and being too simple in its essence.

Watcher Chronicles isn't a groundbreaking game and doesn't focus on story or narrative, but the combat and its soulslike RPG characteristics are satisfying. Forspoken is a unique game, with a very distinct gameplay, setting and story that compose a very fun and interesting experience. SaGa Emerald Beyond is another good step for the series, evolving the ideas seen in its predecessor and delivering a fun RPG based on freedom and challenge. A few missteps prevent it from being even more memorable, but it's a game that will please both fans of the series and curious newcomers.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is a very welcome remaster of a great PS2 title that arrives on current platforms with much-needed improvements. Although it still retains some minor issues, fans of adventure and samurai games have a lot of joy in this important piece of Capcom's catalog.

Invincible VS is a great fighting game with simple controls, but packed with mechanics. It's not easy to master it and will probably appeal more to those who want to delve deeper into its gameplay. The story mode is simple and there are other basic single-player modes, while the online mode does its job. However, the number of characters leaves a little to be desired for a 3v3 game.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is an example of nostalgia done right. It is packed with good games, with numerous improvements and new options to make the experience even more fun for both longtime fans and new players looking to experience the classics for the first time.

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon follows its inspirations to deliver a unique and excellently structured work for an open-world action RPG inspired by Skyrim and Oblivion, with a strong focus on freedom and an excellent dark fantasy presentation. Even so, several technical issues on the consoles will diminish the overall experience in its current state.

Super Mega Baseball 4 may not reinvent the franchise's formula, but the addition of the Legends and the massive visual upgrade seen here is more than enough to keep the series on track. It is highly recommended for baseball fans looking for a light and quick fun.

The story of a tin can looking for their missing tin dog takes us on a short walk through the daily life of an artisanal city and hits the spot with its beautiful hand-painted art, even though this path can lead to the frustration of eventually getting stuck in puzzles and thus compromising the fluidity of progress - a common problem in the genre.

Kill It With Fire 2 may not be as innovative as its predecessor was a few years ago, but it finally unleashes its full chaotic and uncompromising potential, taking the war with the damned spiders to unexpected levels and insane worlds. While playing with others is the best way to enjoy this bizarre adventure, the experience can be rewarding for any player willing to let go of seriousness, overlook interface and physics details, and embrace the unabashed fun of the absurd.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series brings together the two main games of the franchise, updating aesthetic elements and adapting details to the present time without mischaracterizing what made the series stand out in the not-so-distant past. Even with some occasional dated details, the collection is great for introducing the brand to a new generation.

Bramble: The Mountain King combines elements of an under-explored culture in games to create a great fantasy and horror experience. It's a game that's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.

Artistically, Symphonia is one of the most beautiful examples in the precision platform genre. Its musical themes are engaging and as efficient as the level design and gameplay progression, although the controls are not always as precise as they should be and there is a lack of an additional area to make the game a more robust and varied package. These issues, however, do not negate the harmony of this orchestra that is worth listening to.

Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered is a welcome remaster of a very good game that was forgotten. With a non-linear narrative whose structure remains current to this day (even if, overall, it's not very special) and a combat and exploration that are also good (but simple), this remaster brings several quality of life improvements that are welcome, even if it still needed a few more.

Crisol: Theater of Idols is a good game with an interesting setting, beautiful graphics, and cool ideas, such as the combat system. However, it draws too much inspiration from established titles, especially Resident Evil 4.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is a good game to close the first season. Even with changes that are not so significant, the title shines in the graphics aspect by bringing more natural expressions, improved effects, and a disturbing narrative.

Immortals of Aveum succeeds in bringing a new experience to the first person shooter genre, with fast-paced combat, full of good ideas and options. If your intention is to pick up the controller and destroy your enemies with powerful spells, I would say that Immortals of Aveum can guarantee a good time.

Loretta is short, it has unjustifiable puzzles and can be dragging for those who aren't fans of the narrative genre. But despite all this, it's dense, mature, visually beautiful in an unconventional way and has a strong, unsettling and disturbing plot, as every good classic thriller should be.

Far from revolutionizing or innovating, Metal Eden is a first-person shooter that manages to combine the classics and the cutting-edge of the genre, immersed in an increasingly pervasive and disturbing theme. Dynamic, challenging, and exciting, it's not a perfect game, but it makes excellent use of its technical and aesthetic qualities to entertain from beginning to end.

Basureroes: Invasion has a simple pixel art and level design. However, with different character gameplay and game modes, it knows how to extract more than we realize at first glance and proves to be a competent action platformer, especially since it allows up to four people to play and also has numerous deadly arenas for versus mode matches.

The Land Beneath Us takes inspiration from great games to deliver an engaging and fun experience, with a nice narrative and addictive gameplay.

Although the game's AI remains lacking, MotoGP 25 shows significant improvements due to the updated graphics engine. In addition, it provides precise and adaptive gameplay for different skill levels, incredible visuals (if we don't count the strangeness of the human models) and game modes that are not very inventive, but very well optimized for what the game proposes.

Hidden Through Time 2: Myth & Magic brings more of the same comfortable and fun search for hidden objects. I felt a lack of aesthetic evolution, but the ambition was invested in the Architect mode to create and share new levels, greatly increasing the possibilities of enjoying this lovely and relaxing game which, even though it is single-player, can be enjoyed with the whole family.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Sports takes the franchise into a new genre, taking advantage of the solid aesthetics inherited from other productions, and relying on mechanics that are simple to learn and easy to engage with. Light and fun, it's an interesting recommendation for families with big and small children.

Somber Echoes is a good metroidvania with a great movement system. The combat is simple and the story is weak, but it's worth checking out if you're looking for games in the genre.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a compilation of good ideas, elevated by the excellent setting, delivering a very fun title for fans of Japanese mythology and a clear love letter from the devs to it.

Although Dustborn has questionable combat and some technical issues, the game has an excellent and engaging plot, a fact that will keep you hooked until the end of the story.

Airhead leaves nothing to be desired in what it proposes. Although there is no combat, the gameplay offers other satisfying mechanics. It has interesting puzzles, even if it sometimes traps the player in solving some of the more complicated ones. Unfortunately, there are some annoying bugs present, which if resolved will make the game even better.

Tin Hearts combines puzzle and 3D platforming to create ingenious challenges that will require paying attention to the environment and the resources that can be used. The narrative lacks better pacing and swings between the endearing and the cheesy. Even so, the plot collaborates with the charming setting of toys and systems that need to be set in motion. This mix is enjoyable and thought-provoking, which makes it recommendable to anyone who likes to twist their brain in creative environments.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is an excellent stealth game with challenging enviromental and combat puzzles, as well as a great story. All of these elements combine well to create a must-play experience for fans of the genre.

Kukoos: Lost Pets is cute, charismatic, fun and challenging. Not everything is as simple or obvious as it seems, and sometimes it will be necessary to take some time away from the game to recover that thirst for a new attempt after so many failures or even to start a new level. It can be a little tiring and not give you that urge to play until you complete it.

Asphalt Legends Unite is likely to be underrated due to its mobile heritage and free-to-play monetization format. But those who give it a chance will find a visually polished game with mechanics that shine in their straightforward simplicity, as well as an old-school style that has been lacking in the mainstream market.

LEGO Voyagers is a great use of the brand and an excellent cooperative journey, recommended for any player, of any age. Perhaps too short to justify its price, it makes up for it in the overall experience.

Even without revolutionary additions, Amnesia: The Bunker does not disappoint in the horror department. The darkness of the underground is really scary and fills you with anxiety, but, despite not being something necessarily negative, the new game in the franchise brings more of the same without being especially striking. For lovers of the genre, however, the experience is quite satisfying, and it will be even more when the technical issues are resolved.

Contemplative and profound, SEASON: A letter to the future is a work of art that invites you to discover and record an era that will soon vanish in transition to an unknown world. Traversing the open world with your camera and notebook should appeal to those who want a beautiful, immersive experience of aesthetic creation and philosophical storytelling.

Boxville 2 takes us through a charming point-and-click adventure that unfolds without the use of a single word in an equally beautiful and melancholic universe. The puzzles presented to the player encourage the use of logical and creative thinking, but, in some cases, frustration is inevitable.

Enjoyable, undemanding gameplay combines with absurdly humorous storytelling and excellent voice acting to make SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake a fun and charismatic campaign that will be enjoyed by kids, fans of the characters, and anyone who enjoys straightfoward 3D platformers. It can also be a great way to share the experience with the little ones, whether it's passing the controller to them or just having the kids watch you play.

The universe created in World of Horror deserves to be checked out, especially for its peculiar mechanics. The different stories, accompanied by a competent soundtrack and art direction, make the experience pleasant and interesting for a while. It's a shame, however, that the mysteries don't have as many ramifications, which can make the game repetitive after a few hours.

PowerWash Simulator 2 could be described as "just a standard sequel", as it takes the first game as a basis and refines some of its aspects while adding a handful of new features. The target audience might be restricted, but the "ding" which confirms each objective has been fully cleaned is still as addictive and will sate your OCD.
