World of Horror is an unrelenting but unforgettable graphic adventure that anyone even vaguely into horror needs to play. The diverse and almost unlimited playability of the game makes for a consistently terrifying experience, whilst the eerie MS Paint visuals and pitch-black writing make it feel like a phenomenon of its own.

The universe created in World of Horror deserves to be checked out, especially for its peculiar mechanics. The different stories, accompanied by a competent soundtrack and art direction, make the experience pleasant and interesting for a while. It's a shame, however, that the mysteries don't have as many ramifications, which can make the game repetitive after a few hours.

World of Horror uniquely combines roguelikes, horror, and point-and-click into one delectable package. While the formula creates a significant amount of repetition and the controls aren't as refined to consoles as they could be, the final package is still a worthy look for fans from all three genres.

A fascinatingly bizarre indie thriller that mixes multiple gameplay elements and narrative influences to create a disquieting but consistently compelling descent into cosmic horror.

Fantastic monochrome style and chilling writing makes this a great horror to spend time with, though it struggles to maintain the mood across lots of runs. [Issue#35, p.75]
