Firewall Ultra is a simple game, with few modes at launch and a very long matchmaking. Furthermore, the gameplay barely explores the capabilities of VR. With the promised support, Firewall Ultra may be better in the future, but it's difficult to recommend it at the moment.

Tad the Lost Explorer has a number of technical and conceptual limitations. But considering the universe in which it is inspired and the audience it targets, the game has merits in adopting a light tone and a silly humor like few titles nowadays and thus proving to be a fun experience to share with the family.

MADiSON had what it takes to be a great horror game, but there is unnecessary exaggeration here. In addition, the lack of maturity of the character in the narrative makes you think that it is stuck all the time at the beginning, making the title tiring, especially with Luca's unbearable whimpering.

Inspired by classics but with very modern limitations, AEW Fight Forever is a fun game, but a series of small problems end up limiting at all times how much a wrestling fan can enjoy it. While far from exceptional, the foundation is here for a true elite gaming in the future.

There's no doubt that Edens Zero manages to adapt a dense and complex story into an extremely accessible action RPG format. However, aspects such as gameplay, visuals and narrative structure show incredible unrealized potential, resulting in an adaptation that takes little advantage of what Hiro Mashima's incredible work has to offer.

MythForce had everything to please an entire generation that grew up falling in love with the peculiar aesthetics of adventurous animations from the 1980s and 1990s, but unfortunately the inspirations remained only in the concept. As soon as the game starts, it only presents us with a generic roguelite journey devoid of any emotion.

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is still as fun as it was when it was released 25 years ago, but this mediocre and bureaucratic remaster does little to address the aesthetic issues and even less for the original's limitations. While it largely ignores newcomers, it may have its appeal for a few moments for longtime fans, but it does little to reward them for their loyalty.

Made In Abyss: Binary Star Falling Into Darkness is a game with good ideas, but poor execution and an awful adaptation of the source material. Both the gameplay and the story leave something to be desired and the only abyss that the game will inhabit being that of oblivion.

Titanium Hound has a good graphic and sound presentation, but as an action game it ends up suffering a lot of ups and downs, especially due to the constant changes of pace and the commands not responding well on the controller.

With modern elements of roguelike games, Labyrinth of the Demon King seeks to emulate the aesthetics and feel of the classic survival horror games from the days of the first Playstation, but fails by only partially appropriating the best of their characteristics, both in the development of a shallow storyline and in the tedious gameplay that lacks purpose.

The Last Camp can be defined, in a nutshell, as a generic game in all its aspects. A poor narrative, rehashed visuals from much more interesting productions and a gameplay that is (at best) functional mark out a bureaucratic, sloppy and soulless project.

Airoheart shows clearly its inspiration, but fails to reach the same level. Despite some good efforts and an interesting narrative, technical limitations and issues in its mechanics prevent it from achieving greater success.

Space Chef is a tangled mess of good intentions that end up being hampered by a flawed interface on several levels, as well as a progression system that is unfun, bureaucratic, and boring. While the exploration, the discovery of so many variables, and the handcrafted visuals work well with the game's nonsensical premise, and each mechanic has its own merits, the soup seems to lack salt, pepper, and balance. The final result is bland and, at times, hard to swallow.

Quantum Error's proposal was interesting, but the final product delivers a confusing and meaningless narrative, harsh gameplay, poor level design and generic enemies. Only with a good discount and many fixes to risk venturing into the Nomad complex.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! may seem like a product dedicated to fans of the famous demon hunter franchise, but it ends up being a poorly balanced copy of other games in the genre, without much to offer other than lukewarm fun for lazy afternoons with the family.

Taking an interesting approach by freely drawing inspiration from well-known stories and settings, Mirage 7 offers a classic narrative exploration adventure with survival and combat elements. In this regard, it only partially achieves its goal, stumbling over outdated mechanics and unjustifiably dated aesthetic elements, which unfortunately results in a mediocre and forgettable game.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra is definitely a functional beat'em up and, for a while, quite fun, even though it is extremely generic. It uses all the main conventions of the genre, but it is mediocre and poorly works its laughable story, it is tiring and repetitive, especially when playing in single-player and unfortunately it takes little advantage of the foundation of the franchise that lends it its title.

Captain Blood tries to recapture the charm of the PS2's golden era, but unfortunately ends up being a rather mediocre title that misses where it should have hit the mark. There's some merit to its release, partly due to its troubled development, but if you're hoping to find a game that emanates the same energy and does justice to that era, Captain Blood is far from it.

Ashina: The Red Witch expands a story told in other games, but works by itself as a supernatural mystery tale that may please those who like Japanese folklore, even without being especially remarkable. The gameplay is kept to a minimum of finding and delivering items and its simplicity hinders the pace at times when the player would rather continue the story instead of making exchanges that don't seem relevant. Recommended for anyone who wants a playfully dark tale in retro game form and for those who enjoyed My Big Sister and Red Bow.

Little Orpheus turns out to be an ordinary and mediocre product in every aspect of what it proposes, even if the bad timing of its release is disregarded. With simple mechanics and an uninspired level design, it's tedious, sometimes funny, but most of the time it's just really weak.

Predator: Hunting Grounds had a rough launch when it was first released on the PlayStation 4, and it's going through the same situation in this new release due to technical issues which continue to affect negatively the global experience. The assymetric multiplayer mode makes this an adaptation true to the source, but it requires constant balance changes to ensure both of the opposing sides are viable choices.

VED delivers beautiful visuals. Despite the functional combat, the narrative is exceptionally confusing and bad. And, with that, it manages to make the title not reach its potential.

Ahead of its predecessor, barely, The Quintessential Quintuplets - Five Memories Spent With You doesn't stumble with a repetitive gameplay, but misses the mark with scenarios where characters do the same thing over and over again, and with the localization, that left entire scenes in Japanese in the final product.

With several general design problems, questionable changes, a lack of technical polish and not much creativity, Mobid: The Lords of Ire is a weak experience and difficult to recommend.

I really wish I'd been more involved with In My Shadow, but the great core concept isn't enough to sustain an uninvolved story and shaky artwork. While the puzzles themselves have their virtues, the platforming leaves something to be desired, resulting in a disconnected and incomplete set.

Farm Manager 2022 is so concerned with bringing a realistic farm management experience that it ends up delivering something confusing and problematic, even empty. If you can ignore the terrible menus, get ready to experience some of the longest hours of your life.

Seven Doors has mostly random and uninteresting puzzles that fail to meet the expectations created by the game's synopsis and trailer. It leaves something to be desired for its lack of action, and also considering that there are many other better games in this genre, many with a really good story.

Metal Max Xeno Reborn manages to commit one of the most serious crimes a game can do: being boring. Its story, gameplay, visuals and soundtrack all combine to deliver an unremarkable and totally uninteresting title, making it an almost impossible game to recommend.

KONOSUBA - God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire! is a game that doesn't really strike a chord, even for KONOSUBA's fans. The tedious gameplay, low budget and very poor localization leaves very little for those that, despite all that, may still want to give this game a chance.

Drova: Forsaken Kin is a pixel art RPG with enough qualities to pay good tribute to the classics of the genre, but it ends up being hampered by confusing navigation and the countless barriers placed to delay the player's progression.

There's a good game within Archetype Arcadia, but with its inflated playtime, inconsistent art and a premise that's not that original, what's left shouldn't please most gamers.

Poorly executed, uncreative, with restricted progress and co-op being the only reason for its fun, PAYDAY 3 is a difficult recommendation even for fans of the franchise.

After You is an extremely short game that seems to try to create an interesting and cohesive story, but fails miserably. The weak graphics are not very inviting and many things are just thrown around without explanation. Among so many games of the genre, this one is far from my first choice.

Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA is, in essence, an acceptable game that appropriates old mechanics with some interesting twists. But everything else, such as a simplistic career mode, a broken online system, serious technical problems and a terrible AI prevent the game, even with a respectable license, from being minimally enjoyable.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 makes mistakes in practically every possible aspect, from the campaign with questionable design and shallow story, to the uninteresting zombies mode and even its classic competitive multiplayer mode, delivering much less than expected. Little is really original and the game looks more like a reuse of parts from Warzone to create a new product to be sold at full price.

Music Drive: Chase the Beat is a Brazilian game full of good intentions, with a great soundtrack and impressive references to give substance to a simple, yet interesting and creative idea. However, despite being short, it is a game that offers very little gameplay variation, has trouble finding a personality that is coherent with the theme and lacks greater care to reach its full potential.

Mia and the Dragon Princess is cheesy as it should be and brings what is expected from a good FMV, with relevant choices, cartoonish performances and many unexpected consequences. However, it fails to offer an interaction without any inventiveness, in addition to serious continuity problems and, mainly, a script full of potential that never actually comes true, regardless of the chosen ending.

New Tales from the Borderlands tries to bring innovations compared to the first game, but they are not satisfactory and many give an impression of uselessness. Some characteristic elements remained in the franchise, but without the same quality, and the new characters don't manage to be as charismatic as the old ones. The game tries to be many things at the same time, but exaggerates in some and is not enough in others, failing to be anything with excellence.

Despite being a title worthy of its legacy, the new version of Neverwinter Nights 2 is anything but Enhanced. Aside from graphical upscaling and the fact that it includes all expansions in a single package, the console port is unfortunately inferior compared to the original version released for PC in 2006.

Looking like a shadow of the good games in the genre and the film franchise that gives it its name, Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition might be worth a couple of tokens on the dusty arcade machines in a shopping mall, but its shallow concepts and meager content are utterly insufficient for anything even remotely meaningful beyond that.

Overall, Care Bears: Unlock the Magic doesn't even manage to captivate children who are less demanding with technical and audiovisual issues. Composed of mini-games blatantly copied from outmoded hits, its main mode is drowsy and poorly articulated, resulting in something bland and, worse, absolutely boring.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum manages to appropriate the best features of one of the best and most complex characters created within an unquestioned mythology, but a limited aesthetic representation of the world surrounding it and sloppy movement systems prevent the the game from being as precious as it should be.

Wreckreation attempts to become the successor to Burnout Paradise; however, it lacks the polish to do so. Even worse, some basic aspects of any racing game are so lacking in care that it's impossible to recommend it in its current state. It feels like a game that launched in Early Access and, had they given it adequate development time, could have been something truly special.

Monark is a tangled web of good ideas that could have become a good game, but end up being hidden under an awful execution. The combat system is the best part, but it fails by its excessive repetition and the story stuns the player by taking one of the worst possible directions and throwing away all it could have been.

Rivalia: Dungeon Raiders gathers ideas already established in the market, but does little with any of them. Without standing out in any aspect, it is functional, it does the basic, but it never goes beyond that, and that is little, very little.

DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue is a collection of generic and uninspired solutions that try to sustain itself through the charisma of a franchise much loved by children. It fails narratively, aesthetically and, above all, in fun factor.

Pool Party uses its apparent innocence as a crutch for its poor ideas and, above all, for the lack of care in its implementation. It's even possible to have fun for a few moments, but only when players allow themselves to suspend their critical sense in favor of an uncompromising family mess.

Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is a disappointing spin-off and I cannot recommend it to even to die hard fans of the series. The gameplay simply isn't polished and, thus, makes it hard for players to have a good time with the title.

SINce Memories: Off The Starry Sky doesn't offer an engaging story, while also delivering a shoddy localization.

Altair Breaker has interesting gameplay, but that’s about it. It’s a repetitive, limited game whose fun ends quickly.

Guardian of Lore fails to execute many aspects of gameplay and never delivers anything fun to the player. Even the interesting premise and nice art won't save the game from being something mediocre.

As much as a pretended nostalgia for the action movies of the 1990s can make us overlook many of Crime Boss: Rockay City's flaws, it is inevitable to conclude that this is a game that failed in all its objectives, even to make us laugh.

A product of its time, Princess Maker 2 Regeneration should please only the most hungry fans of this Japanese series.

SAMURAI MAIDEN mixes two completely opposite genres (action and visual novel) and fails to excel in either one. It is a weak, boring game with awful graphics, bad music, unresponsive controls and a monotonous story. The character models are very nice and the action is a little pleasing after evolving a lot and unlocking different moves, but it's not worth it.

When it works, Cyber Hook is excellent, the stages are enjoyable and stimulate the player's creativity. Unfortunately, that's not the case with the PS4 version and what's left is a broken game and a mediocre experience not worth your time.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is, at best, a mediocre base-building and environmental exploration game, but most of the time it does everything worse when compared to other similar works. Add the disappointing combat experience, a forgettable story and lackluster aesthetics, and you have something that is bad as a game, even worse as part of a universe as incredible as the one created by Tolkien.

Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance is a pile of shallow ideas implemented in a simplistic and clumsy way. The narrative and visuals make little use of the rich base material, the exploration is bland and the combat system is an insult. In the end, a big disappointment.

Unfortunately, The Quintessential Quintuplets - Memories of a Quintessential Summer doesn't fit any bill. It's not an engaging visual novel, it's not an interesting additional content to the series, and it's not even a fun game to play.

Acre Crisis is a game that flirts with the intrinsic potential of its premise, but aspects such as the lack of graphical refinement and, especially, the terrible controls prevent it from standing out on its own merits and clear homages to games that are part of our memory. It is an incomplete and unfinished product, proving how nostalgia alone is not enough for a retro experience.

Babylon's Fall is a game that impresses by the fact that nothing in it works as it should. It's a boring title and marked by a series of problems. It ends up standing out as one of the worst games in a year full of great releases.

Valley of the Dead: Malnazidos is a game without perspective, which promises nothing and delivers even less. Its lousy gameplay, bad story and bizarre bugs make the experience a real waste of time.

Loop8 is an interesting premise, tied together by a string of ideas with an implementation that ends up destroying any enjoyment the player could have with the title.

At its best, emoji Kart Racer is just a generic, repetitive, and tiresome more-of-the-same game. The lack of features or modes, uninspiring customization, simplified physics, unstable tracks, boring races, and especially the lack of creativity, however, make it even worse than any other game of its kind currently on the market.
