Dark and not so distant future.

You are a Titanium Hound pilot and a kind of cop who wants to protect and serve, helping commoners who were unlucky to get in the middle of gang wars. Abominations, hacked drones and crazed gangsters are just the tip of the iceberg you are trying to break down without full understanding the scope of the problem. You are prepared much better than any regular police unit, but even so your hands are often tied, especially when it comes to questioning corporate regulations.

Titanium Hound is retro-looking video game in cyberpunk genre, where you are going to pilot huge and agile exoskeleton to crush hordes of crazed security drones and abominations to uncover a conspiracy carefully crafted by one of the global corporations.

Titanium Hound has an interesting mechanical twist on a side-scrolling shooter but, in exchange, it loses out on so much momentum. The detailed visuals and excellent voice acting can only go so far as I stumbled towards any fleeting enjoyment. The shooting feels fine but aiming has a restrictive quality and the crafting elements can largely go unnoticed. Ultimately, this just didn't click for me.

Titanium Hound has a good graphic and sound presentation, but as an action game it ends up suffering a lot of ups and downs, especially due to the constant changes of pace and the commands not responding well on the controller.

A disappointing effort for such a fantastic looking game, Titanium Hound’s fundamental gameplay sounds interesting, but ends up as a frustrating mechanic that spoils what could have been a fun shoot ‘em up.
