Jul 14, 2025Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream deserves to go down as a landmark stealth game. The finely-honed sneaking mechanics are an absolute joy to experience, whilst the absorbing story and immersive world will keep you creeping from beginning to end. The fact that this is River End Games' first release makes their accomplishment all the more impressive. Quite frankly, I can’t wait to see what the team do next and I’ll be eagerly awaiting the chance to visit Eriksholm again.

Jul 14, 2025Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream has it all. Between its thoughtful gameplay and enrapturing world, like the light-footed Hanna, River End Games hasn’t put a step wrong. It’s easily one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played this year and a welcomed reminder that creativity and talent can still find a platform to shine within our troubled industry.

Jul 21, 2025River End Games have achieved something special with their debut title Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream. This stealth adventure has a solid story driven by superb characters and a gorgeous setting. Whilst the gameplay may not be challenging enough or provide enough freedom for some players, it is still a tightly crafted stealth experience. Mesmerizing visuals, a great soundtrack and truly memorable voice acting make this game my biggest surprise of the year so far. In a genre that has fallen to the wayside, River End have injected some much needed life!

Jul 21, 2025I loved my time with Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream as it's one cleverly rewarding stealth game. With its puzzle-like scenarios and immersive atmosphere and premise, you'll love every second of playtime and think fondly back on it for years to come.

Jul 17, 2025We highly recommend the lovingly crafted adventure of Hanna and her friends. The developers have impressively achieved what they set out to do with their debut work. Depending on how you play, the eight chapters of the game take around ten to twelve hours to complete. They are packed with an emotional narrative and exciting stealth puzzles.

Jul 14, 2025Eriksholm - The Stolen Dream was a bright debut by the new studio. It offered an interesting world with intense gameplay and a captivating plot.

Jul 21, 2025Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is a good game that could have been so much more if some changes were made. The game is way too short, and the fact that there's usually only one solution in each level removes replayability, making it a one-and-done experience with almost zero reason to return. Unless, however, you're a completionist looking to find all the collectibles. Still, I'm happy I played it due to its fantastic stealth mechanics and heartfelt "stick it to the man" story of political corruption.
