Even though EA and Visceral chose to focus more on full-out action and less on the creepy horror atmosphere which made you pause the game in tight spots just so you could breathe easily, Dead Space 3 is a worthy successor to Dead Space 2. It has a few new additions to the game like weapon crafting and cooperative play, which makes it all the more fun. Though Dead Space shouldn’t be fun, it should scare you sh.tless!- PlaySense

A remake of the original Game Boy Advance game that comes with plenty of variety in the puzzles, offers an excellent challenge and introduces fun co-op features. Nintendo delivers a solid remake that does exactly what you expect from it without really risking anything. The game comes with an immense amount of content and fine gameplay that will keep you playing. In the process, the performance is excellent which ensures an optimal gaming experience. Lover of the franchise and plenty of diversity in activities? Then this game is just right for you, although don't expect too much from the story. Also, the camera is sometimes a bit annoying, but you can live with that since the rest of the game is more than fine.- PlaySense

Not as memorable as the Mortal Kombat reboot, but still a worthy successor. A great story complemented by a well-balanced cast of fighters and numerous interesting features - among which highly interactive environments and spectacular special moves - makes the game. Unfortunately, weak cutscenes, some boring minigames and the lack of a tag team mode keeps the game from receiving a higher score.- PlaySense

At last, the franchise travels to Japan, and with Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Ubisoft presents us with a captivating adventure that excels particularly because of its two playable characters. The gameplay is mostly more of the same, supplemented with some new elements that make it feel very familiar. At the same time, the pacing is not always great and side characters could have received more attention. Nevertheless, fans of the franchise will again be able to lose themselves completely in an adventure characterized by a beautiful world to explore and somewhat fresh gameplay.- PlaySense

The Division 2 is larger and more expansive than its prequel and the focus has in part shifted to end game content which adds a lot to the overall package. Coop is a lot of fun and the game surprised us continuously with its wide variety of environments. Lots of content and solid gameplay make for a very competent title. The AI could use some TLC though because it tends to be extremely dense most of the time. The texture pop-in is another minor annoyance as is the somewhat clunky user interface. These minor issues notwithstanding, The Division 2 is a great game that has plenty to offer. Recommended.- PlaySense

Immortals of Aveum is a successful first game from Ascendant Studios. Combining a shooter with magic makes for interesting gameplay, and much attention has been paid to the lore, environments and variety in combat. This picks up well and makes for an enjoyable experience. At the same time, the performance is not yet optimal due to a unstable framerate and some jokes feel a bit out of place. That being said, Immortals of Aveum has a fine adventure to offer that is worthwhile with some rough edges every now and then, but they don't get in the way of enjoying the game.- PlaySense

A great fighter which is newbie friendly because of the DOA Quest addition. This mode provides one of the best tutorials we have ever seen in a brawler. DOA 6's action, audiovisual qualities and the overall execution are other standout features. The main complaint we have is DLC related. A playable character in story mode needs to be purchased so that you can use this character in other modes, which is crazy. The story is incoherent too but that is to be expected from a DOA game. Overall, a fine new addition to the franchise.- PlaySense

Sonic is back and in a very entertaining adventure. There is plenty to do in the game world that is presented to you. This is thanks to the fast-paced gameplay, exploration, battles and the presence of classic levels. Gameplay has improved from last year's iteration and that is great news for all FIFA players. EA really seems like it's finalizing it's formula which makes FIFA 19 a great game. The story in Silent Hill 2 is rock solid, which is partly due to the excellent voice-acting. The revamped boss fights, soundtrack and visual presentation are also excellent. Because you need to have two players from one same team in order to properly begin playing NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 (players are handed out at random), the game gets off to a slow start. A drawback is the micro transaction heavy online multiplayer which dampens the fun, but nevertheless NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is a very fun game to play.- PlaySense

A fun game that will keep you playing for a long time - if you don't mind the sometimes clumsy controls though.- PlaySense

Sine Mora certainly isn't for everyone. It's a relatively oldschool game and it's pretty challenging. The story doesn't amount to much and the lack of a cross-buy feature also doesn't work in Sine Mora's favor, but apart from that, the game is a lot of fun.- PlaySense

This game dishes out an interesting mythology that is complemented by a deep combat system, so it never gets bored easily. The colorful levels and high fun content then finish it off. Mind you, the game has some graphical glitches and the co-op feature feels a bit superfluous, considering it adds nothing and comes across as somewhat lazy. That said, Evil West is a more than excellent game in its own right.- PlaySense

This is quite a different adventure than we've come to expect from Nathan Drake and his cohorts, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Playing the Uncharted card game is actually a lot of fun. It's accessible and has enough content to remain in your PlayStation Vita for a long time to come.- PlaySense

The return of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is a good one. It still is a rather original game with great controls and a lot of gameplay variations. It's a shame some design choices and the graphics aren't that great, though.- PlaySense

League of Legends with a Lord of the Rings skin is... well, as good as you would expect League of Legends with a Lord of the Rings skin to be. Frame-drops and bad connections aside, you won't regret a purchase.- PlaySense

Fan of Borderlands? Then it should come as no surprise that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is worth your time. The game brings the familiar gameplay of the franchise, but in a more absurd situation that suits the hilarious character well. The humor is back, the co-op is very cool and the gameplay is as fine as ever. However, the game is rather safe, because despite new elements such as the multi-class system, it is not really groundbreaking and graphically it could have been better. Apart from that, it is a title you will definitely enjoy.- PlaySense

Resident Evil will never be the same again... and while Resident Evil 6 isn't really the return to survival horror glory fans were hoping for, this is still a great, gory action title for those willing to overlook clunky controls and mediocre graphics. The vehicle segments really shouldn't have made the final cut though.- PlaySense

Shift Up's console debut can be called successful. Although you notice that it is the developer's first major console production; for example, dialogues are forced, the game has many minor frustrations and awkwardnesses, the overall package minus these issues stands like a house. The lore is captivating, the gameplay dishes up a spectacle, there are plenty of secrets to discover and the combat is solid. As icing on the cake, you get a wonderful variety of (outstanding designed) enemies and a delightful soundtrack.- PlaySense

The love child of Mirror's Edge and Journey, with elements of horror, platform and puzzle games... Master Reboot is hard to grasp in just a couple of words. A unique title that, despite its clunky controls, shouldn't be skipped by any true puzzle fan.- PlaySense

Its steep learning curve, oppressive atmosphere and often frustrating control scheme make sure Darkwood isn't an experience everyone will enjoy. Capcom brings with Kunitsu-Gami a game that excels in atmosphere, which comes from the beautifully detailed environments, which plays well with the gameplay elements. At the same time, the boss fights versus the regular fights are quite disappointing, and graphically it can be a bit rough here and there. Nevertheless, the overall package is entertaining and has enough to offer to keep you entertained for quite some time.- PlaySense

Pikmin 4 is here and, like previous games, it is an incredibly fun game to play. There is plenty to explore and do in the world, the new additions such as new Pikmin, craft abilities and more, make it a fun adventure. It's a shame though that the full co-op experience is no longer present and the performance can't be called optimal, but those aren't points to make a purchase hinge on. A fine platformer that will certainly please fans, as well as newcomers.- PlaySense
