Well, at least it's a lot better than we thought it would be, with its fun gameplay mechanics, attractive visual style and well-developed multiplayer modes. F1 Race Stars is, however, a bit too repetitive and isn't as packed with content as we'd hoped, which makes it a little difficult to recommend.- PlaySense

While still being a great racing game, we were not too convinced by F1 2013. Yes, the career mode is properly fleshed-out (though we've seen it all before) and the classic mode is a nice addition to the franchise, though we could do without the weird paywall construction that demands players to pay extra for all the content. The visuals are also rather boring and the game's intro aims perhaps a bit too much at franchise rookies, which might annoy experienced players.- PlaySense

It's been a long time coming, but finally the Dying Light sequel is here. The parkour is refined, the combat is great and the city is lively enough to keep you entertained for a long time. There is also plenty to do in the game, but at the same time it is mainly more of the same without really big innovative steps forward. The first few hours are also disappointing and the visual modes do not offer a best of both worlds standard. A fine sequel, but perhaps a victim of too high expectations.- PlaySense

Proteus is a game without a clear goal. In fact, we're not sure whether there is a purpose to it at all. You're just wandering around a deserted island, that is generated at random for every new playthrough. Still, in a strange way, Proteus is very satisfying and not just because there are Trophies to earn. It's a bizarre, relaxed experience, though it definitely isn't for everyone.- PlaySense

A sublime atmosphere combined with a well thought out narrative along with the recurrence of moral dilemmas is Vampyr's biggest selling point. Walking around in total darkness and making sounds so you can get a glimpse of your surroundings is the premise on which Tiny Bull builds this Virtual Reality title. It gives us a unique audiovisual experience which offers an interesting story and some fun puzzles for you to solve. Blind is worth your time if you can manage dealing with a couple of minor bugs and the fact that the puzzles lean heavily towards trial and error from time to time.- PlaySense

A new year, a new MotoGP games. Milestone brings you more of the same and that feels very good in terms of gameplay, because of the better mechanics. In addition, the addition of the 2009 season is very cool, which makes it worthwhile for fans. Still, the game lacks some things here and there. The multiplayer content is very limited and the AI sometimes does crazy things. No major problems, but there is room for improvement.- PlaySense

This game's a lot of fun, with the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode as the indisputable highlight. However, the controls aren't very precise, the camera can get quite frustrating and the visuals won't win any awards nowadays. It's good, but it could (and should) have been a lot better.- PlaySense

The ever-popular Wii Sports has been given a Switch adaptation and the result is a fine title. Several sports are great fun to play, including in multiplayer. The entry threshold is also very low, making it suitable for everyone. Know that the emphasis is on the multiplayer, because on your own it can get relatively boring after a few hours. Also, the price is a bit on the high side compared to the content the game offers.- PlaySense

Track Lab combines making music and solving puzzles into a very unique and entertaining title with excellent controls and lovely tunes which are sure to relax anybody. The amount of puzzles is somewhat limited and making music (in a separate game mode) is where the meat of Track Lab lies. Ratchet & Clank return to their roots, though their "comeback" isn't exactly a homerun. You'll have a lot of fun with Nexus, to be sure, but certain aspects - some weapons are useless, there isn't any innovation to speak off and Clank's moments in the spotlight are more frustrating than enjoyable - could have been done better. Playing air guitar to familiar songs in virtual reality is a gift we didn't know we needed. It's a pretty fun game to experience which is partly due to the good tracklist, the different difficulty levels and the immersion. One downside: the explanations are somewhat random, which can make it confusing if you're just starting out. It is also a pity that there is no progression system in the game, which makes it more of a game for in between when you have nothing to do.- PlaySense

Rainbow Six Extraction is a fun outing for the Rainbow Six franchise that does well with multiplayer. However, don't expect anything too special as it builds on a familiar event. This is definitely one hell of a weird experience. The art style is magnificent, the combat exhilarating and the soundtrack interesting. Interesting is also an apt word to describe the humor in the game. However, the level design is rather repetitive and the much advertised 'gigolo' missions are rather limited in options. If you can overlook the mediocre graphics and unintuitive controls, you'll find PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to be quite the pleasant experience on PS4. Battle Royale at its finest.- PlaySense

An in cohesive story and faulty control scheme keep Lost Orbit from reaching the clouds. However, if you're willing to overlook its problems, you'll find something nice to keep you busy in-between larger titles.- PlaySense

Under Night's biggest problem is that it never truly feels like a PlayStation 4 game, due to mediocre graphics and a story that never manages to truly take off. However, if you're not all that bothered by this, the game's unique characters and fleshed out online modes will keep you busy for a long time to come.- PlaySense

Quite an impressive puzzle game, mainly due to its fantastic level design. The game's a bit too short to fully justify its price tag though.- PlaySense

Skullgirls stands out because of its insane character designs and dito move sets. Beneath this shiny layer of craziness, however, it's nothing more than one more thumb-twisting 2D fighter that doesn't quite make it to the level of its colleagues.- PlaySense

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot works like gangbusters. It makes you feel the impact and brutality of every dog fight, effectively 'as if you're truly there'. It's brief though, and won't win any awards in the graphics department.- PlaySense

Challenging gameplay and a moody atmosphere make for an intriguing experience, though clunky controls and disappointing graphics keep it from reaching the heights its concept deserves.- PlaySense

A point & click adventure in the vein of the old Lucasarts games which makes clever use of game and movie references. And even though some puzzles are pretty far-fetched, they provide plenty of entertainment. The humor wasn't exactly our cup of tea but all in all, you can't go very wrong with The Wardrobe if you're into this type of game.- PlaySense

Finally! Proof that racing trucks might be just as much fun as racing any other vehicle. The graphics feel a bit underwhelming though and empty online servers are always a bummer.- PlaySense

Innovation in a LEGO game? LEGO Ninjago tries it and succeeds... mostly. Unfortunately, the overly chaotic nature of the gameplay coupled with an annoying camera somewhat sucks the joy out of the proceedings.- PlaySense

Sonic returns this year with a 2D platformer, and where the game starts out excellent, it weakens a bit in the long run. This is unfortunate, but the fact is that the gameplay in itself does provide enough fun, and the game is full of nostalgic references to the past, which are on point. The controls are top notch, but the co-op, while fun on paper, is too chaotic in execution, so it doesn't work well. At its core, a more than fine game, but where there are many pros, there are just as many cons to consider.- PlaySense
