Not bad, especially as far as the story is concerned. A good concept, but it isn't enough on its own and No Straight Roads falters a bit in its execution. Dumb AI is the main culprit, but the fact that the actions on screen aren't always synchronized well with your input certainly doesn't help matters.- PlaySense

It fills up the gap between both Lords of Shadow games quite nicely and the HD-transition is well-done. Nevertheless, the game's a bit easy, the gameplay lacks depth and the story could have been a lot more engaging. It will keep Castlevania fans busy until Lords of Shadow 2 is released, which is the only reason we could come up with to recommend this.- PlaySense

Old school Real Time Strategy returns in the form of 8-Bit Armies and it absolutely delivers on the nostalgia factor. Simplistic visuals and gameplay really don't detract from the large amounts of fun to be had. Plenty of varied maps and multiple modes offer more than enough content. Online there aren't any competitors however, which makes you get bored relatively quickly. A fun snack, but that's about it.- PlaySense

When you're able to play this title in co-op with a couple of friends, the resulting experience is almost elemental. When you're going in solo, however, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is less memorable as the cracks in the framework inelegantly show and the extremely repetitive nature of the gameplay slowly reveals itself.- PlaySense

Let's face it, if you're not into stories, you shouldn't buy Beyond: Two Souls. After all, player input is kept to a bare minimum and even then it manages to take you out of the experience, as it needlessly slows down the action. However, those who love a good and well-told story can't go wrong with Beyond: Two Souls. Both Ellen Page's and Willem Dafoe's acting is highly convincing and the visuals are appropriately jaw-dropping. Co-op is also a feature very much worth exploring, as it succeeds in turning this "interactive movie" into an effective two-player experience.- PlaySense

The game introduces the recruitment system, which is an interesting addition as it brings more diversity to the gameplay. At the same time, the missions involved are repetitive and Ubisoft uses a bit of the same blueprint in terms of gameplay structure. So, apart from new hack features and the recruitment system, do not expect any particular innovations. A solid game, but it is not the ultimate autumn title either.- PlaySense

A very entertaining game in which you must roast human flesh to satisfy the wishes of the invaders on your island. It's like Overcooked, but slightly different. This is due to the dishes and the fact that you also have to kill the people before you can cook them. Completely absurd, of course, but that makes for a lot of fun. Play in co-op though, because solo is not recommended and it is a shame that the audio gets boring rather quickly, let alone the balance in extra skills which is not good enough. Points to consider, but that does not make the game less worthwhile to play with friends.- PlaySense

The intriguing story with the solid gameplay manages to make Soul Hackers 2 an engaging game. In terms of content, the game is also richly supplied and thanks to the presentation, the atmosphere drips from it. While the story is strong, the suspense is there well and the visual revamp does the game justice, the main question remains: was this remake really necessary? The awkward controls and technical shortcomings here and there also don't make it a very strong execution and otherwise there is little new under the sun. In terms of gameplay, there is little wrong with it, but if you have played or own the original, this release is a completely unnecessary buy.- PlaySense

Immortals of Aveum is a successful first game from Ascendant Studios. Combining a shooter with magic makes for interesting gameplay, and much attention has been paid to the lore, environments and variety in combat. This picks up well and makes for an enjoyable experience. At the same time, the performance is not yet optimal due to a unstable framerate and some jokes feel a bit out of place. It is worth it because of the engaging gameplay and the steep challenge provided and because of the ability to play in coop. NBA 2K24 is Visual Concepts' best basketball game to date. The gameplay feels fantastic and this is complimented with an excellent atmosphere during games. It also looks stunning and the addition of Mamba Moments is a big plus. This is why it is such a shame the game is being destroyed by the microtransactions. Annually a point of criticism, but it's really hitting its stride as it hinders the enjoyment of the game.- PlaySense

An enjoyable and good arena shooter that's maybe a bit too expensive. The lack of online players doesn't exactly do the game any favors either.- PlaySense

Great gameplay, as usual, though the addition of the shotmeter isn't exactly a home-run. However, the latest update did bring better options. The large amount of microtransactions are the game's biggest problem, but besides that NBA 2K21 is a decent new iteration in the franchise.- PlaySense

Shooting at everything that remotely resembles the Zed is entertaining enough in VR although repetition rears its head after a short while. The coop action is capable and audio-visually the game is fine although it never really stands out in anything it tries to accomplish. Teleportation as a means to move around is a bit of a bummer and the fact that you automatically drop some guns is something you'll never get used to. The puzzles are far too easy. Killing Floor: Incursion is a okay shooter but it doesn't distinguish itself enough from the crowd.- PlaySense

A traditional point & click adventure that does little to advance the genre but it does provide you with plenty of entertainment. The graphics are very pretty and the user interface is well thought out. Collectables aren't a chore like in many other games. The price is pretty steep and the humor is a love it or hate it type of deal. A decent game but nothing more.- PlaySense

The gameplay of Killing Floor 3 is perfectly fine with above-average combat. In addition, the range of maps and weapons is also very varied, which adds to the fun, and the soundtrack deserves a special mention as it fits perfectly. However, we cannot ignore the fact that in terms of content, it is still a bit thin at the moment, and the story also lacks depth. Finally, the performance could be improved. So there are a few points of criticism to take into account. However, the history of this developer with previous games teaches us that it will ultimately be rectified.- PlaySense

Dynasty Warriors 8 sticks to its guns. That means repetitive, but deep hack & slash gameplay. Fans will enjoy it, newcomers won't be that impressed.- PlaySense

There's a lot to love here, but unfortunately, none of these things quite manage to escape from the big loot box-shaped shadow that's hanging over the franchise. For now, do not buy this.- PlaySense

Business as usual, which means: a lot of depth and content in the racing department, but also mediocre graphics and a lacklustre atmosphere.- PlaySense

It's not perfect - characters get stuck on terrain, there's only a few multiplayer maps and you can't change characters in the middle of a match - but neither are we. Colorful characters, enjoyable gameplay with quite a bit of depth and Humor with a capital H make Battleborn a shooter that is certainly worth your attention.- PlaySense

A facile re-release of an older game in a new look with some new characters. The performance is also pleasant, but the rest is all mediocre. The new story mode is boring, the online functionality sucks and the English dubbing is a drama. The game also lacks any real noteworthy additions. A disappointment.- PlaySense
