If you’re into this type of game, EDF 5 is the absolute pinnacle of the franchise thanks to its absurd humour, an excellent online multiplayer, an insane amount of content and the overall madness of never ending onscreen chaos. It is a niche game however and many people won’t understand what the fuss is about. Poor graphics, poor physics, the eternal grind for better gear and old school gameplay are an acquired taste in the case of EDF 5. Tread with caution.- PlaySense

Good 2D platform/puzzle games are scarce nowadays and it almost looked like Double Fine had that part covered. Almost. False advertising made us think that we would be drooling over this game, while now all we do is cry over it. Admitted: the Monkey Island-ish humour is still hilarious and in coop play we had a few laughs over stupid things, but that’s not enough to make up for the high hopes we had, that now lie in ashes.- PlaySense

A great fighter which is newbie friendly because of the DOA Quest addition. This mode provides one of the best tutorials we have ever seen in a brawler. DOA 6's action, audiovisual qualities and the overall execution are other standout features. The main complaint we have is DLC related. A playable character in story mode needs to be purchased so that you can use this character in other modes, which is crazy. The story is incoherent too but that is to be expected from a DOA game. Overall, a fine new addition to the franchise.- PlaySense

Wonderbook: Book of Spells is the first game for Sony's new Wonderbook system and therefore has to be good in order to sell the device. Fortunately, the game delivers in almost every way, aiming at young gamers and implementing augmented reality and the PlayStation Move superbly. Soulstice feels – in a good way - like an action game of the past thanks to its brutal and intense action. As this continues to develop well, it manages to keep you playing. The downside, however, are the puzzles, as they are uninteresting and the level design feels a bit odd at times, which disrupts the flow. Some things to keep in mind, but the overall package is definitely to be appreciated.- PlaySense

Just like in the original, the action is incredibly satisfying, and the addition of new enemies adds a little more variety to the adventure. This adventure is standalone and definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the original game. At the same time, it is still not technically stable, and because of the OmniTower setting, it is a lot grimmer and at times a bit more boring to watch. Nevertheless, it is a solid and fun shooter.- PlaySense

This is one of the best Pokémon games ever made, if not THE best. This is due to its excellent gameplay, well-crafted audio, sense of freedom and engaging adventure. The world you enter is beautiful and interesting, which makes it a pleasure to explore. In addition, the various gunfights are very intense and exciting, and the game has a lot of content. At the same time, it is at times very monotonous, and it is also somewhat limited in terms of variety. This makes it a title very similar to other open world games from Ubisoft, so in that respect Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not very innovative.- PlaySense

The artistic visual style make Death's Gambit stand out and the second part of the adventure really caught us by surprise. That, along with the awesome music and the crazy bosses you'll encounter make this game worth the price of admission. Technical issues also spoil some of the fun.- PlaySense

Minecraft Legends is a fine strategy game that will provide plenty of entertainment for young and old alike. The gameplay is fine and that goes also for the co-op feature, which allows you to experience everything with others as well. Moreover, there is no shortage of humour. BLEACH does a fine job of translating into an engaging fighting game, where staying true to the source material is a very strong point. This trilogy is a great example of too little, too late. Don’t get us wrong: Agent 47 and all his perils mashed into a trilogy pack make for a great way to spend your day, but it should have released before Absolution. New Dawn is a good entry for the franchise, but as expected it doesn't deliver a complete new Far Cry experience. Instead Ubisoft builds further on Far Cry 5’s destroyed world and added some great RPG elements in the progress of it. This makes the game fresh and enjoyable, but because of the reused world and mission structure it may feel repetitive at times. The AI is unfortunately still a miss and the open-world may feel empty while exploring. When playing this game in co-op it will reach its full potential.- PlaySense

Guerrilla Games together with Studio Gobo is venturing into a LEGO game based on Horizon: Zero Dawn. The result is a game that mostly feels very lighthearted thanks to the LEGO humor. The voice-acting is also excellent and so is the combat in the game. At the same time, that is also the problem, as the focus is so much on the combat that everything else feels rather boring, which in turn is due to the lack of exploration options and very limited platforming. A fine game for all ages that excels in the presence of awesomely detailed physical ships. Within the toy-to-life genre this comes as a great surprise that really delivers on the fun factor. The difficulty is a little bit unbalanced unfortunately which is somewhat inconvenient, considering the audience this game caters to. The interesting game world is worth exploring, thanks in part to the many fun easter eggs and missions you get to choose from. The fact is that it is technically rather messy. For example, the game has quite a bit of screen tearing, frame drops and more. Also, the battles are stiff, making it all feel a bit shaky. If you know how to get past this, then the game is quite nice to play.- PlaySense

Somehow we thought this one would turn out to be better. After all, the concept of ruling your own country (or in this case: winning it back) holds great possibilities. And even though a unique visual style and well-implemented touch controls make New Little King's Story a fun experience, a weak story, repetitive gameplay and a number of technical mistakes doesn't make it a lasting one.- PlaySense

Finally, a PlayStation Move game that seems to matter. It's a bit too short and also a bit too simple, but in the end you will remember this colorful platform game as an enriching Move experience.- PlaySense

A surprisingly entertaining platformer which creatively throws some puzzle solving your way. The balance between the platforming and puzzle solving sections feels just right. Add to that a very pleasant audiovisual style and you really cannot fault Degrees of Separation in any way. If we're pushing for criticisms, the precision required when solving some puzzles might be the only minor gripe we could think of but that's really all. Great fun and highly recommended.- PlaySense

A challenging episode, but it never hits the level of Paris or Sapienze. It's fun for a while, but nothing all too memorable.- PlaySense

An original puzzle game that creatively plays with dimensions while telling a good story at the same time. The setting is original, the voice acting is excellent and the puzzles are creatively designed. The game only lasts for about two hours though and the controls feel a bit nervous for some reason. You'll regularly and unwillingly drop items often too which is frustrating and hampers the overall pacing of the game.- PlaySense

The MXGP franchise continues its trip towards the top, with great visuals and a refreshing lack of long loading times. The DualSense offers a nice amount of feedback during races, making it easier for gamers to immerse themselves into the experience. However, the inconsistent reset system and overall lack of content keep MXGP 2020 from reaching the lofty heights it aims for.- PlaySense

Your typical LEGO game, drenched in that typical Jurassic Park atmosphere we all know and love. Technically, it's not exactly great, but it's still a highly enjoyable experience fans of the franchise will adore.- PlaySense

This game isn't dusty at all! Alright, that may have been a horrible pun, though the amount of variation and great visual style do make this a highly enjoyable platform game. It's sort of sad then that the controls are at times not as responsive as they should be.- PlaySense

Porting the game to the PlayStation 4 after a successful PC Kickstarter project pays off relatively well. Although the controls aren't really suited to the DualShock controller the story managed to captivate us. The game is challenging and the voice-acting is solid. Combat can sometimes be a drawn-out borefest and the game suffers from repetitiveness somewhat but generally you won't mind since it still manages to entertain.- PlaySense
