The concept of cooperative racing where you need to paint lanes in order to get a speed boost is pretty original. The game would be way more fun though if your AI opponents wouldn't be as dumb as they are. Trailblazers can also get a little bit frustrating due to some strange course design decisions.

The main distinctive feature is the creative use of the color palette. It absolutely looks the part even though the middle section of the game leaves something to be desired. Great controls and a large selection of puzzles will guarantee you'll have a great time with Planet Alpha though.

Call of Cthulhu is the most Lovecraftian experience Lovecraft himself never conjured up, with a storyline filled to the brim with the elements that made the Cthulhu mythos so persistent over the years. Most of the numerous gameplay elements are both hits and misses though. That and a questionable technical execution make for a game that won't stand the test of time as much as its main source of inspiration did.

Walking around in total darkness and making sounds so you can get a glimpse of your surroundings is the premise on which Tiny Bull builds this Virtual Reality title. It gives us a unique audiovisual experience which offers an interesting story and some fun puzzles for you to solve. Blind is worth your time if you can manage dealing with a couple of minor bugs and the fact that the puzzles lean heavily towards trial and error from time to time.

The amount of content, the sensation of speed and the overall gameplay are alright in Dangerous Driving. The rest of the game isn't. There are huge frame rate issues and graphically the game is pretty weak and the motion blur is used far too much for its own good. This game's strongest aspect is without question its captivating story. Too bad the quality of the voice acting is all over the place. Dead Island: Riptide - more an expansion of than an actual sequel to Dead Island - doesn't succeed in changing up the formula much. Defiance kicks off an engaging science fiction universe along with the series of the same name. The world itself is great, but the game is rather mediocre. The action is fun thanks to a nice variety of weaponry, but repetitive missions, terrible AI and disappointing audio take away from the experience. Nevertheless, Defiance isn't the worst shooter out there - the interested shouldn't keep themselves from applying for duty.

The concept of being a monster fighting off humans instead of the other way around makes for an entertaining title. Although the game will make you chuckle occasionally and while the core gameplay is solid it never really stands out above the crowd. The game suffers from random difficulty spikes and the levels can become confusing. It is not a very long game either. The result is an original game that is executed well but could have been far more than the sum of its parts.

The Inpatient looks and sounds great, but it's also dreadfully slow and not all that interesting. The inconsistent control scheme is the final straw.

The story's fine, as is the game's co-op mode. However, that's about it as far as the game's positive elements are concerned, as a mediocre technical performance and severe lack of originality are the main causes for Asterix and Obelix's downfall.

A funny and at times quite marvelous experience, held back by an imperfect balance and annoyingly mediocre controls. Still, Rack N Ruin is worth checking out, even if it's only for its fantastic soundtrack and hilarious main character.

Murdered: Soul Suspect has a unique concept and backs it up with an intriguing story and a mysterious game world you'll want to explore. Disappointing graphics and slightly unoriginal gameplay keep it from becoming a game to die for, but it's still worth your time and money.

Fans of Road Rash will find a lot of like in this predominantly nostalgic experience. However, the game has no real staying power, due to the repetitive nature of its gameplay.
