    If you can get over the fact that this isn't a survival horror game and subsequently hardly feels like a Silent Hill game at all, this is actually a very addicting button basher with surprisingly good level-design and a great atmosphere. A weak story, mediocre graphics and the repetitive nature of the gameplay keep Book of Memories from receiving more praise.

    As a whole the game works due to fun gameplay and nice graphics and even the story had us captivated enough to want to keep on playing. Still, the world around you feels mostly empty and the audio is almost absent while playing which is pretty strange. The side missions are far too simplistic as well so make sure you take these minor complaints into account if you're on the fence about buying this game.

    While visually very appealing and with a highly varied career mode, V-Rally 4 is plagued by a poor control scheme which can't decide whether it wants to be an arcade racer or a race simulator.     Well, Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel is a little bit of a letdown. Long loading times, invisible walls, dumb AI and a lot of graphical glitches takes away from the experience. Thus, it's not as good as the previous games in the series, which doesn't mean it isn't a fun shooter. Especially when playing with a friend - and let's face it, that is the way you should play Army of TWO - the game might just be worth your while.

    We expected a great sequel but unfortunately we walked away somewhat disappointed. The boss fights, the characters and the core gameplay are as solid as you've come to expect from a Lego game but the omnipresent and timeless Lego humor is missing this time around which makes this game lose a large part of its soul. Load times are long and the explorable worlds are bland. A missed opportunity.

    Loyal to its franchise, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows offers a lot of different fighting styles. However, the controls are far from fluent, all missions feel exactly the same and for some reason it's impossible to switch between fighting styles while fighting. The end result is pretty damn mediocre.

    The gameplay of Gungrave G.O.R.E is very cool in itself because of its brutal and unrelenting action, which is improved up by a delightful soundtrack. In the game, you are simply a bad-ass and that feels good. Were it not for the fact that the game suffers from difficulty spikes, a lack in enemy variations and inconsistent level design that can get on your nerves considerably. Potentially a very cool game, although it loses some momentum as you progress.

    The main quest is everything it should be, but unfortunately most of the side content isn’t nearly as interesting. Add to this a shocking amount of bugs, stupid AI, loads of performance issues… and you’ll understand why Cyberpunk 2077 is a contender for ‘disappointment of the year’.

    The PlayStation 3 version of the game was a disappointment and the same verdict applies to the Vita edition. Since this version has its own "improvements", we were expecting more. And granted, there's some neat features involving the touch screen, but otherwise it's the same mediocre game. It's fun for a while, but you have to be able to overlook its shortcomings.

    There's quite a lot of content here, though just one out of four Grand Slam titles is hard to swallow. As you start playing, however, you'll find that there's a lot more wrong with this game.     Inversion has a great premisse, an interesting story and an overall solid control scheme. This, however, isn't enough to save the game from mediocrity. Its biggest crime isn't the short campaign or the graphical flaws, but the fact that fooling around with gravity - supposedly the game's big hook - isn't at all necessary.

    The gameplay is enjoyable as always, and the return of classic maps is a nice reunion. At the same time, Activision did make it very easy on itself by recycling a lot of content, adding older maps and more. This makes it not a new game, but simply downloadable content. Moreover, the amount of bugs that have been present for a long time is ridiculous and the menu is a mess. The shooter has potential, but it's time to consider the community as gamers, not cash cows.

    Jon Bernthal steals the show, though what's here truly isn't valuable enough to warrant stealing. The game's a technical mess, and displays stupid AI, repetitive missions and unnecessary looter shooter elements. All of these combine to turn Ghost Recon: Breakpoint into one of the most disappointing experiences of the year.

    Sker Ritual copies the Zombies concept of Call of Duty and throws its own sauce over it. This results in a pretty fun title that excels mainly in its level design and gameplay with friends. Still, it has a lot of shortcomings. For example, the story is nothing, at times it is unfair and technically rough. Also, the game is rather ugly, which is a shame. Not a must have, but if you're in for a Zombie-esque adventure, you'll be fine here.

    The action in Gangs of Sherwood is very fluid and smooth, making it a pleasure to experience. Especially if you play in co-op, where the variety is sufficient because the characters are so different from each other. In addition, the performance of the game is also excellent, but on the other hand, the campaign is very short, the game is not very strong visually and has the necessary glitches. It is also not very difficult, as it lacks a bit of challenge. Still some points to consider, but with that said, we can conclude that the game itself can be called fun to play.

    Cleaning objects is generally not too fun to do, but in PowerWash Simulator that changes to a zen experience. It is incredibly relaxing to clean all kinds of objects and properties with the most powerful tools. The game is packed with levels, has a fun multiplayer and even has an addictive effect. There are some small bugs that can be a bit annoying, but it’s not something to really worry about. One of the most relaxing games you can play this year.

    The original was a perfectly good game and this remastered version doesn't bring anything new to the table. Neither does it improve the original in any way, shape or form. The technical issues combined with the repetitive gameplay dull the experience. Other issues we encountered were faulty controls and a less than optimal user interface. In the future, all of our gripes might be solved by some major updates but as it stands this game is a mess.

    There is really nothing wrong with Anthem's core gameplay. But as much as we appreciated the use of the Javelins and the overall gunplay, it just feels as though the rest of the game is unfinished. A tremendous amount of annoying bugs with random disconnects all the time, weird design choices, poor end game content, uninteresting loot and we could go on. There is loads of potential here but that will require a large amount of effort on the developer's part. In its current state, Anthem is simply an unfinished product that we cannot recommend.

    It's good, not great. Knack is the icon of the PlayStation 4, but makes an uncertain impression in his first adventure. As a platformer, Knack is a lot of fun, but also very basic.     The Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is an entertaining and creative interactive tutorial that gives you all the ins and outs about the platform. Educational on the one hand, entertaining on the other thanks to the mini-games you can play. The explanations are clear and the presence of tech demos is also very interesting. That said, it really should have just been free, because it remains an interactive tutorial and it's annoying that you can't finish it 100% if you miss certain accessories. Other than that a fun title to get to know the platform better with it.

    Funko Fusion creatively plays with various classic films and licenses, presenting fine music and humor in the process, which makes sure that part is in order. At the same time, many things are out of order. For example, the frame rate is unstable, the game has annoying bugs, it is often unclear what the objective is, and more.     Time Carnage shouldn't be faulted for its technical aspects since those are absolutely solid. Where the title does fall flat on its back is in the generic design - it lacks any standout feature to make it distinguish itself from the ocean of available stationary VR wave shooters. Boredom sets in a couple of minutes after picking up your motion controllers and that can never be a good thing.     Redfall brings a pretty nice visual style and the setting is also very strong in concept, complemented by a good atmosphere. But that's where it stops in terms of good news. Indeed, in execution, the setting is somewhat dull and more problematic are the many technical and graphical problems. The gameplay in itself is also uninspired, never challenging and has somewhat an identity crisis. In the process, the unique skills of the characters hardly show up as meaningful contributions. All in all, Redfall is a huge disappointment plagued by a host of technical shortcomings. Very unfortunate.

    Visiting Hong Kong is a pleasure in Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, especially with the game's cars, which handle well. The game also certainly has potential and fun elements, but everything is grandly negated by persistent connection problems. Even a month after the release it's a challenge to be able to race online... In addition, the performance is lousy and visually it does not impress. With more time, this certainly could have been a good game, but its current state is not the best.

There's a lot of depth to be found here, but you need to have a certain interest in farming to think this is enjoyable.     A very noble effort to translate the grueling Dakar rally into a videogame while staying true to the spirit of rally racing. Die hard rally fans can and surely will enjoy Dakar 18 but more casual racing fans less so. Navigating is a pain and the different types of vehicles don't all control very well. On top of that , the long load times that riddle the game when you attempt to restart from a checkpoint don't do the game any favors either.

    When the original is so bad you would never even consider replaying it, you'd think the developers have learned their lesson. They didn't, however. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 sucks. It has numerous bugs and glitches, the AI is embarrassing, the graphics are worthless... and so on. Leave this on the shelf of your local game store... or do everyone a favor and cover it with a different, better game.

    A South Park game is always welcome, and Ubisoft has shown how to do it. THQ Nordic, on the other hand, is showing how not to do it. The levels are rather simplistic, the combat is stiff, it gets repetitive very quickly and the game has difficulty spikes. On top of that, South Park in 3D feels strange and the game just isn't that engaging. Still, to end on a positive note, the AI is okay and the original voices are used. However, that is not enough to justify a purchase.

    Some cute references to the original games and well executed cut scenes don't prevent this title from being overly simplistic and -even worse- broken in the gameplay department. The AI is absolutely horrible, voice acting is atrocious and we don't even want to talk about the barely functional stealth gameplay. All in all a game that should be avoided like the black plague.

    VEV's low price tag is a plus, as is the unique concept behind the game. You should keep in mind though that VEV also offers extremely repetitive gameplay and controls that don't always work the way they should.

    The original game was a lot of fun, but this PS4 port feels and looks extremely outdated. If you want to play a DS game on PS4 though, be our guest.

    All three PC adventures of Adam Venture now arrive on PS3 in an interesting, challenging and often funny package. There's some technical hick-ups (especially visually) and the controls aren't as smooth as they should be, but that shouldn't stop puzzle fans from considering a purchase.

    Zorro presents a game meant for young kids, but the developer underestimates a bit what the standard is these days. This makes only the youngest kids will get some fun out of it. For the rest, it's a disappointment. The game is too easy, does nothing special and has little variation. There are also annoying bugs that make Zorro The Cronicles a game to avoid.

    The world is beautiful and mysterious and the great music definitely contributes to this nice setting but the game itself somewhat disappoints. There's plenty of technical issues, the letterboxing format blocks your view and the game feels segmented due to being split up into levels. You don't always know where you're going either. A missed opportunity.

    The web swinging's the best it's ever been, but the uninspired story, buggy game world and haphazardly thrown together gameplay elements make for an awkward, ill-structured and often downright unfinished gaming experience. The human spider deserves better.
