Jul 24, 2013It’s trashy, loud, single minded and not without a number of annoyances and flaws. However the utter stupidity and carnage of the game is infectious and there is nothing really like this on the PSN so for those reasons, I am going to award it an explosive and controversial: 8.

Aug 18, 2013If I had to sum up Thunder Wolves with a single world it would be 'fun.' It's not the most memorable or rewarding game you'll ever play by any means, but just like any good arcade game from the 90s, it provides you with several hours of raw action enjoyment.
-
Aug 13, 2013Thunder Wolves is not the most polished experience you'll find on the PSN, but there is a surprising amount of fun if you give it a chance. Excellent light fare between bigger gaming meals.

Sep 11, 2013Thunder Wolves is a rather conservative and uninspired arcade game that focuses on simple target shooting as its central gameplay component. Firing indiscriminately at anything that moves is fun for a while, but the game simply does not offer enough variety of challenges to master and also feels technically unpolished.
-
Aug 19, 2013While Thunder Wolves nails the action and non-stop devastation of an arcade shooter, control issues and lack of variety may hinder the overall experience.

CD-ActionAug 28, 2013The game is so repetitive that a couple of hours offered by the single player campaign is too much. [CD-Action 10/2013, p.73]
-
Aug 20, 2013A swing and a miss, but a game that at least delivers an easily wieldable flying model and holds your attention for the first few missions by virtue of endless 'splosions. [Sept 2013, p.95]
