The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is not only considered as a RPG cornerstone, but also the perfect starting point to deep dive into the Kiseki series. If you're looking for a franchise with a captivating world, incredible characters, and large-scale conflict, it's not to be missed. It may be a somewhat archaic game at times, but it's a safe bet for any fan of classic Japanese RPGs.

This game has several shortcomings that make it only recommendable to die-hard fans of the Gundam franchise, due to being riddled with references to the series. If you are new to the franchise, we think it is not the best introductory game to enjoy one of the most popular mecha series of Japan.

If you have already enjoyed NieR: Automata before, the truth is that there are not too many reasons to return except for the new control scheme or the possibility of reliving the story. However, if you are a Nintendo Switch user who had not been able to play the game before, you totally should do it. It's a must for any player who likes Japanese games.

Potion Permit is a pixel art adventure game now available for Nintendo Switch that we have loved. It tells a story with really emotional moments. Shin-Chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation - The Endless Seven-Day Journey is an extremely charming adventure. Being a sort of slice of life simulator with a very characteristic humor, the game let us spend a summer full of peace and fun alongside endearing characters and activities that, although they do not stand out in the gameplay, know how to convey in a wonderful way the spirit of what it is to spend a quiet summer vacation as a Japanese child. All this with a good slice of fantasy, something characteristic of Shin Chan's trademark.
