May 16, 2022Vesper: Zero Light Edition is a tense, stunning, and cinematic platform-adventure game that any genre fans should add to their collection. Wait till the sun goes down, or whip out your own Drive Gun to absorb the light in your room, boot up your Switch on the big screen or undock your OLED and immerse yourself in the gorgeous colors, sublime sound design, and cleverly haunting world of Vesper: Zero Light Edition.

May 28, 2022A solvent game to which it is a pleasure to spend several hours. As it is not excessively demanding, it is a perfect proposal with which to enjoy without many pretensions.

Jun 14, 2022Vesper: Zero Light Edition combines stealth platforming with light/dark puzzles in a visually arresting landscape. There’s a lot to like (light?) here, but the core gameplay isn’t quite as compelling as the beautiful presentation. Nevertheless, Vesper is worth investigating.

Jun 8, 2022Vesper: Zero Light Edition might’ve needed to stay in the oven a bit longer, but there’s still a decent game here for puzzle platformer fans. The heaviness of the time-based stuff combined with fiddly Switch controls and your slow-moving android eventually takes a toll. But when the puzzle mechanic works unencumbered, it’s clever and satisfying, and the audio/visual package goes a long way. With better balancing, Cordens Interactive should have a hit with their next release.

Jun 6, 2022The satisfaction of clearing a tricky section by finding the solution following the initial feeling of helplessness is an essential part of any puzzle game, and Vesper delivers it in spades, even if there is some frustration along the way. If you're a vast landscape to explore, you won't find it here, but this is a journey through an intriguing and often stunning world that slowly settles into a groove to offer a satisfying puzzle platforming experience. It's not without its flaws, but it does enough right to at least earn a look.
