LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga brings all the charisma of a LEGO franchise game with the richness of detail and care that a Star Wars franchise title deserves. One of the best LEGO titles without a doubt and essential for fans.

In short, the ultimate experience for Lego and Star Wars lovers. An epic conclusion to the Skywalker saga that, despite not going as smoothly as we would like on Nintendo Switch, is a unique experience, full of fun and content.

Overall though there’s actually very little to criticise about The Skywalker Saga. It’s a perfectly constructed love letter to a series of films that will appeal to young and old alike. The force is strong in this one.

LEGO Star Wars on Nintendo Switch is the final compilation of the Skywalker story with all its nine episodes, humorously and faithfully depicted. An entertaining action adventure all around.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the most ambitious game not just in the LEGO Star Wars series but in the entire series of LEGO games. With that ambition comes a great deal of positive elements for this experience, namely the outstanding representation of the Star Wars universe, the incredible amount of content, a more in-depth and developed combat system, and a difficulty level that's compatible with all audiences. Truly a remarkable work that will fit great in any Nintendo Switch.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is an epic that certainly lives up to the Star Wars name. While its humour is occasionally a bit childish, effective writing and voice acting helps to keep the action fresh and snappy as this wacky interpretation of the Star Wars mythos plays out. Don’t take it too seriously, and it’s a real blast.

In its quest to be the "definitive" LEGO Star Wars game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga tries to do too much and suffers as a result. While the game offers players a variety of different game modes and level types, there's nothing that it truly excels in.

The Co-op is excellent, I'm playing it with my girlfriend and we love it. The world's are really cool, it has a very star wars feel, and the jokes are actually pretty funny. It's not difficult at all but the combat and puzzles are fun and rewarding. Expand

LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga is simultaneously the most extensive and all-encompassing Star Wars game AND the most ambitious and massiveLEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga is simultaneously the most extensive and all-encompassing Star Wars game AND the most ambitious and massive LEGO game to date. The amount of content is vast, and fortunately, much of it is worth experiencing.

The main story missions range in quality, some feel too brief while others are quite well crafted and memorable. The cutscenes and dialogue are for the most part very well done, and strike a good balance between the gravitas of the Star Wars universe and the whimsical nature that comes with LEGO games. I enjoyed that the developers thought to include a mode in which none of the characters speak, and instead communicate via mumbles, in order to deliver an experience more in line with the original LEGO Star Wars games. The open-world environments offer a great density of quests, missions, and unlockables, and can provide lots of optional enjoyment for those who wish to seek them out. The gameplay isn't incredibly deep, but is solid enough and helps to keep the barrier of entry low.

The game looks surprisingly good on the Nintendo Switch, though performance issues are often a problem. I disliked how compressed the music sounded, I wish that there was a way to download higher quality audio files, as I found the low-quality music and dialogue detracted from the experience at times. The game also can experience crashes on occasion, as well as a multitude of different glitches, both minor and major.

Overall this is a pretty impressive game that does unfortunately come with some issues. I'd still recommend it in general, as it offers an experience most players will likely enjoy.

Played through and beat every episode averaging around 40-60% completion for them. Finished at around 400 kyber bricks in roughly 25 hours of gameplay. This game is undeniably bloated, but the bloat is full of wonderful references and enjoyable diaogue and characters. The love for star wars shines through in this game. For the actual game though it i trivially easy and simplistic, 1300+ kyber bricks was maybe a few too many. Leveling up is seemingly worthless I only leveled up my stud collection rate, character speed, and stud magnet levels. Expand

This game doesn't offer enough challenge:
It always shows clearly where to go next. The combats are way too easy. If anyhow death occurs, the consequent punishment is unnoticeable. The improvements one can buy for collectibles are completely useless because of the game's staggering low difficulty level.
Boredom installs itself rather quickly in this game despite its beautiful graphics, music from the films, quality voice acting and the funny jokes which don't exist in the movies.
Finally I recommend this game to little children to make them learn the usage of a controller and to Star Wars fans who might chuckle at a few of the jokes.
