This is more like Lego city undercover than any other lego games I've played. The Co-op is excellent, I'm playing it with my girlfriend and we love it. The world's are really cool, it has a very star wars feel, and the jokes are actually pretty funny. It's not difficult at all but the combat and puzzles are fun and rewarding.

Fun game but not as strong as previous Lego installments. Falls victim to the "open world" industry standard. Not worth the 60 dollar price tag.
    Pros:
-Tight and fun gunplay/Light Saber controls -Writing and visual gags are very funny -Graphics can be gorgeous at times -Massive open world (if you are into that) -INSANE amount of characters Cons: -No character customization -Actual levels

I think part of the problem for me is that I already know the story. I wouldn't watch the movies again, so I should have known I wouldn't want to walk through them in lego form. The writing in the game is actually better than the movies though, so that's a plus. But it's not exciting and the stories aren't riveting or anything like that. I find it kind of boring.

LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga is simultaneously the most extensive and all-encompassing Star Wars game AND the most ambitious and massive LEGO game to date. The amount of content is vast, and fortunately, much of it is worth experiencing.

The main story missions range in quality, some feel too brief while others are quite well crafted and memorable. The cutscenes and dialogue are for the most part very well done, and strike a good balance between the gravitas of the Star Wars universe and the whimsical nature that comes with LEGO games. I enjoyed that the developers thought to include a mode in which none of the characters speak, and instead communicate via mumbles, in order to deliver an experience more in line with the original LEGO Star Wars games. The open-world environments offer a great density of quests, missions, and unlockables, and can provide lots of optional enjoyment for those who wish to seek them out. The gameplay isn't incredibly deep, but is solid enough and helps to keep the barrier of entry low.

The game looks surprisingly good on the Nintendo Switch, though performance issues are often a problem. I disliked how compressed the music sounded, I wish that there was a way to download higher quality audio files, as I found the low-quality music and dialogue detracted from the experience at times. The game also can experience crashes on occasion, as well as a multitude of different glitches, both minor and major.

Overall this is a pretty impressive game that does unfortunately come with some issues. I'd still recommend it in general, as it offers an experience most players will likely enjoy.

Boredom installs itself rather quickly in this game despite its beautiful graphics, music from the films, quality voice acting and the funny jokes which don't exist in the movies.

There's a lot of unlockables, so much one can do, but I think that that takes away from the game because it provides the player with less direction. For example, there's a LOT of Kyber Bricks hidden across the galaxy, but there's not much point in getting them, since you just use them to upgrade characters or unlock more content. The content is cool to try out sometimes, but it just feels like there's too much in the game. Unlike the Gold Bricks in Complete Saga, there's not as much puzzle in trying to get Kyber Bricks-- you just need to have the right characters or a bit of speed and skill. You also don't need to find out what happens in the story since it's based on the movies. Overall, they definitely put a lot of work into this game, but there was nothing particularly special about it. Expand

Honestly quite disappointing. While the main levels are ok and the memes are really fun, the side content really falls off due to it just being copy and paste sidequests on different planets.
