The game takes place between two worlds: the real world, where you can freely explore the environment, and the imaginary world, where tactical combat, full of puzzles and stealth moments will take place. In the exploration sections, Damien will have to deal with his daily life in a new country. Even getting around his grandma's house is a little adventure! On the other hand, in the combat sections, Damien has to defeat enemies using combined attack and support techniques, side by side with allied Shonen Jump+ heroes.     Captain Velvet Meteor is a title that anyone who likes strategy games can enjoy. While it is true that its mechanics are somewhat simple, other good things such as its crossover with renowned manga series and its colorful graphics make it a very worthwhile game.

The game also gives a unique narrative about adapting to life and finding yourself using manga-style cutscenes.

    The game also gives an opportunity for players and fans of the Shonen Jump+ series to play their favorite characters like Heart Hear, Spy X Family, and Monster #8. Which is a big plus for manga lovers out there.

    Although the simple battle mechanics might shoo away some dedicated fans of the turn base tactical genre. I see this as a way for younger players to enjoy the game as a starter for the genre and lead to dedicated fans as well.    … Expand
