It might be a welcoming game for the players who enjoys the genre. Although, I personally find it enjoyable on witnessing the tower’s progress of development growth. However, my personal gameplay experience doesn’t really hook me up and wants me to keep going more and more. The game functions pretty well, I’m able to enjoy the game without any technical issue.

Neo Harbor Rescue Squad offers a unique and entertaining experience by combining fast-paced medical minigames with a humorous and heartfelt narrative. While it has areas that could benefit from refinement, such as the repetitiveness of certain tasks and the absence of full voice acting, the game’s charm and engaging mechanics make it a worthwhile play for fans of medical simulations and visual novels alike.

The game XEL is quite unique and original but brings that classic 3D RPG action-packed game genre to the Nintendo Switch. It’s a very easy-to-play game that doesn’t require many control buttons to use or a long time to acknowledge what you must do next. Everything is easily explained and the major portion of the game is to explore the world while finding hidden objects and upgrades to help you along the way.

I may have had my issues with repetitive gameplay, and lacklustre art style. However, the high points of the fast-paced and intense boss fights, as well as the variety in each star’s moveset and build helped balance things out considerably. It’s a flawed, but enjoyable bullet-hell title, that can provide some fun for those with a love for the genre. However, I couldn’t necessarily say it hit home with me.

It’s a flawed game that doesn’t always stick the landing. Yet still, there’s something endearing about the experience. Ellen’s core journey may be to find her grandpa. But as things progress the cleaning and healing of the world around her really becomes the star. It’s simple, but quite effective.

Thymesia is the latest title to try and be the next Soulsborne experience. Sadly, its lofty ideas fall short and its potential is never reached. On top of this, a lack of originality holds it back throughout.

I do think it is a solid game, a fine entry into the survival genre. The airship mechanic is fun. Gathering supplies to survive is engaging and customising your airship is great. There is even a co-op mode for friends to play with. But a weak combat system and exploration being repetitive does bring it down.

Brain Show is an amusing and cliched trivia game. Thanks to the challenging questions, this will push you all the way. Furthermore, the Remote play option is fantastic. However, a lack of a single-player mode and the sarcastic host hold it back.

Blackwind is a hack n slash Sci-Fi adventure title filled with gratuitous violence. You explore, work together, and gain new abilities to reach previously locked locations. It has a great story but the acting is wooden and tired.

It feels like they’ve taken a bundle of ideas and thrown them at the wall. Not all of them stick. The funhouse, for example, fell straight off into the waste paper basket. But enough of them stick to leave me with a good feeling. It even managed to pull off a satisfying final boss fight, even if the bad ending spoiled that feeling somewhat. Ultimately, Suffer The Night struggles to emerge from its inconsistencies but if Tainted Pact can learn from its lessons, then they could make something truly great.

Shadow of the Orient is an old-school platformer that will appeal to veteran gamers. However, it isn't as polished as I expected and this caused frustration. Additionally, too many bugs and repetitive action undermine the core ideas.

With these features, paired along with its cluttered aesthetic, I think Lots of Things Collector’s Edition appears to look more like a mobile game. Frankly, it may be more suitable in that format. There are many hidden objects games out there with varying quality. Lots of Things Collector’s Edition is . . . alright amongst them. If you are bored and looking for mild stimulation, then this title is a great option.

Spirit Hunters: Death Mark II is a visual horror novel that delivers some stunning visuals but is an otherwise okay video game. While the story felt cliche at some moments, there were some bright spots in the 20 hours I spent with the game. While Suspensive Acts was my favorite part of the game, playing it sometimes felt frustrating because of the RNG nature. Fans of the franchise might be happy to see the original characters return. For fans of visual novels, there are better options for anyone looking for a horror visual novel game.

A nice world, boss designs and mini-puzzles are drowned by sticky, one-note combat and blunted exploration mechanics.

Thunder Kid: Hunt for the Robot Emperor is a low-poly retro adventure title. The developers have focused on a low-key affair, but sadly this undermines the end product.

Animal Shelter Simulator is a fun but simple simulation title. With basic mechanics and repetitive gameplay, this won't test veteran gamers. However, I enjoyed its casual approach and the cute pets.

It’s undeniably enjoyable, and playing with friends is excellent. However, it lacks depth and won’t challenge you.

Garfield Lasagna Party is a great mini-game title for younger players. Moreover, fans of the cartoon will adore the setting and the 4 famous characters. However, its lack of depth or additional content will leave mature gamers wanting. Perhaps with some DLC, the problems will be ironed out and the game will fulfil its potential.

Aidan in Danger is a fine indie title in small doses. However, a lack of originality and repetitive mechanics prevent it from excelling. If you want a simple platform game with some enjoyable moments, this will tick those boxes.

Violations Will be Punished, is a middling game. While it has interesting ideas, such as its multiple story paths and hybrid gameplay, both these aspects felt lacking. Furthermore, the gameplay is held back by its bad map design and fog-of-war mechanics. While I found some enjoyment with this title, I overall felt the game was lacking in many departments, and that hindered my enjoyment of the game.

In life, time is limited and one can only spend so much time playing a certain game. For that, you must create something worth the time. I am all for testing new ideas but this is not a new idea. This a fake promise followed by a game so lazy, one could create it over the weekend. In conclusion? You’ll probably get more adrenaline from watching an ice cube melt.

Hellstuck: Rage with Your Friends is a hellish game that broke me repeatedly! The action is simple but the execution will destroy your soul. Accordingly, it is far too brutal and it will put off mere mortals.

Overall, Leo & Mia is super accessible and easy to play; a short and sweet game to keep your young kiddos entertained. Just don’t expect much.

Grab friends or family for a colorful co-op brawler. Easy to pick up and full of frantic fun, Ra Ra BOOM has you bashing bots, blasting baddies, and laughing together in 4-player local co-op. It’s got retro roots with a modern arcade spirit.

Fiz and the Rainbow Planet is a game that knows exactly what it is, and just as importantly, what it isn’t. It’s not flashy, it’s not huge, and it’s not trying to reinvent the genre. Instead, it offers a short, colourful adventure that prioritises accessibility, charm, and heart. This isn’t Celeste but if you enjoy Gameboy era platformers I can recommend you give this a try.

God of Weapons is a bipolar experience. On one end, you have a fantastic inventory management system that asks you to make tough decisions while building out your character’s kit. On the other, you have lackluster gameplay that’s only exciting if you enjoy watching damage numbers grow larger. These ideas fail to coalesce into a singular vision, ultimately making the project feel like a missed opportunity.

Bubble Trouble is a great series of games that will push your buttons. It is devilishly simple, but hard to complete. Avoid the balls and destroy everything with your harpoon. What could go wrong?

Starship Troopers: Extermination left me wanting. Though it is a fun multiplayer experience, it is flawed. There isn't enough polish and the single-player campaign is laughable. Furthermore, the Galactic Front element felt like an afterthought. It is a shame as the gameplay can be hectic, challenging, and rewarding. If the developers polish things up, then maybe this can reach its potential.

While Soul Stalker is undoubtedly flawed, its price point feels like a recognition of its imperfections. For less than the price of a fast food meal, the title provides enough familiar fun to frame itself as a worthwhile investment against a genre where every game is determined to move upwards and remain unprecedented in quality. I can see myself launching Soul Stalker for a few runs every once in a while, and when so many roguelikes exist, eternally vying for attention, commitment is one of the best compliments I can give such a game.

Section 13 is an old-school isometric shooter title that lacks longevity. Though it is fun and there is potential, it never reaches its peak. I enjoyed it, but I was left wanting. More depth is required.

Hairdresser Simulator is oddly addictive. The simple mechanics and easy controls help you to master every element. However, there are too many glitches and the gameplay is extremely repetitive.

On one hand, the fact that Kowloon High-School Chronicle has made it out to the west is quite the result, but with nearly every feature either outdated or improved upon in genre games since, this cult-classic has not aged gracefully and might just prove a little too ‘retro’ for those bar the niche audience it’s aimed at.

Grid Ranger is a challenging shoot ‘em up with great visuals. Though harder to get used to, the mouse controls for this fast-paced shoot ‘em up was executed well. Unfortunately, the game is very short with only 3 levels. Grant it, the game is only $4 USD, so I wouldn’t expect a large amount of content. It only has the main 3 levels and an infinite mode, so there’s not a lot to do after playing through all of it. For what it is, it’s an enjoyable shoot ‘em up experience that had me coming back for more every time I died in a level.

Hex Gambit: Respawned is a casual strategy title that is flawed but fun. The short, sharp levels will push you to your limits, as will the lack of army freedom. This was frustrating, as I never truly felt in control of my destiny. However, when you play this online, things come to life. It is good, but there are better examples.

Castle Renovator is a ye olde building simulation title. Sadly, though, it is filled with bugs and visual issues that can't be ignored. However, once you work through these problems, you experience a fun, albeit repetitive game.

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero on PC is a rewarding but flawed experience. Its unique grid-less combat, deep customization, and endgame content make it a standout within the strategy RPG scene. Marona’s story offers emotional moments and whimsical charm, even if the pacing drags and the narrative stakes feel low. On the downside, the PC version suffers from occasional crashes, physics bugs, and AI glitches that should have been ironed out before launch.

Garten of Banban 6 is a weird adventure experience that will confuse and impress you. However, the action was a little too strange for my liking and I found it hard to keep up. Moreover, though it is the best of a bad bunch, it is flawed.

It’s not quite a masterpiece, but hey, it’s certainly a “game” that will take up time in your life that you’ll never get back. Truly, an experience worth… well, nothing much.

Agriculture is a simple and cliched farming title. 50 stages stand between you and victory. However, unfortunately, the action rarely changes and this was disappointing. Yet, I still enjoyed it enough to recommend it.

Time Treker isn’t a genre-defining masterpiece, but it is a fun, affordable roguelike with a lot to offer fans of mech customization and top-down action. Its chaotic battles and deep loadout systems make for addictively replayable runs, even if the meta progression could be more satisfying long term. If you enjoy experimenting with builds, diving into bullet-hell arenas, and taking on ever-changing challenges, there’s real joy to be found here. Just don’t expect an emotionally engaging story or a slow, methodical campaign, this one’s all about fast, frantic fun.

63 Days is a harrowing and melancholy game that tells a fantastic but chilling story. Sadly, though, there are too many shortcomings and this prevents it from excelling. However, if you can look past the issues, you'll find a fascinating game to play.

Overall I had fun with Sanctuary Saga thanks to its great battle system and charming pixel art visuals. However, the lackluster story and the repeat walkthroughs of every area hurt the experience for me. If there were more enemies to fight, more dungeons to go through, or even more story sequences to play through I feel as though I would have had a better time as is. Fortunately, the developers are continuing to work on this game, even after its launch, but as it is now, this game is simply a decent experience.

Yaoling: Mythical Journey has an amazing presentation with a lot of creatures to fight and recruit, as well as many secrets in its world design. However, the general gameplay structure, while fun for a bit, limits the game from reaching its full potential.

I give it a 6/10 Not horrible, not amazing, dead straight in the middle. It seems like a good starting point; with plenty of opportunities to improve either their formula in this game or future ones.

For fans of the series, Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast provides an enjoyable tactical RPG that expands on the lore. However, for those looking for a deep and engaging strategy RPG with extensive character development and exploration, this might not be the best choice. Ultimately, whether you’ll enjoy this game depends on your expectations and your appreciation for the Goblin Slayer franchise.

Outward is quite the divisive title and will likely continue to be a dichtomy amongst gamers. Some will love the lack of hand holding, the long walks and the creative combination of crafting and survival gameplay, while others will pick apart its average implementation and frustrating mechanics.

Performance wise, I encountered several crashes and the game sometimes freezes for a couple of second when I enter a match. These crashes and freezes occurs randomly throughout my playthrough so I cannot tell you exactly what is causing the crashes.

Witchcrafty is a cute and adorable Metroidvania-lite game. However, performance issues and poor controls let it down. If you can overlook the shortcomings, you'll wade through a plethora of challenging stages and brutal mechanics. As such, this isn't a game for the faint of heart.

Outpath is a relaxing and easy to understand experience. If you've played Minecraft, you'll love this game. It is simple, addictive, and fun.

Is Mamorukun ReCurse! for everyone? No. Is Mamorukun ReCurse! even for most people? Probably not. The game caters to a very niche audience with its gameplay and art style, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that the package on offer is solid, and those who appreciate the genre will find it a decent addition to their collection.

Undungeon is a story of unrealized potential, with a well-written fantasy sci-fi story and stunning visuals, it could have allowed this indie Kickstarter title to really make some noise, but its repetitive action can’t stretch to meet a running time that’s double the length it should be, allowing tedium to settle in long before the end.

Albacete Warrior is a 3D fighting game full of humour and satire. Consequently, it'll be enjoyed by a niche audience. Furthermore, its immature approach will make some of you chuckle endlessly, whereas others will be completely turned off. On top of this, the poor controls and the horrible depth perception make it tough to play.

City Eye could be a phenomenal simulation title. With interesting mechanics and promising gameplay, it could evolve to be something special. However, at the moment, a lack of content holds it back. If new crimes were added, and additional services implemented, it would be much better.

Asterix and Obelix: Slap them all! is a fun yet familiar beat-em-up title. It doesn't break the mould and there are better examples of the genre. However, it looks great, has a wonderful soundtrack, and will make you laugh.

Formula Legends neither caters to the casual fans enough with simple controls, nor offers a comprehensive history lesson that the hardcore might enjoy. Instead, it tries its best to satisfy both audiences, but its identity crisis (and lack of licenses) makes it difficult to please anyone. It may be an interesting option for those looking to experiment with a semi-realistic racing game, but it’s difficult to see why anyone would choose it over competing titles.

The Smurfs Village Party is a solo and multiplayer experience. If you love Mario Party, you'll adore the mini-games. However, the adventure mode feels like an afterthought, which wasn't very pleasant. Furthermore, some bugs and glitches prevent it from excelling.

Greedfall: The Dying World is an interesting addition the franchise. With a fascinating story, large open world, and excellent audio, this offers plenty of atmospheric gameplay. However, it is let down by performance issues that need ironing out. Once the problems are resolved, this will be a great game.

Gambonanza attempts to merge chess and roguelike, and the end result is a mixed bag. A bright spark for the first few runs, but relentless repetition causes it to fizzle out in the end.

Three Minutes to Eight is a strange old-school point-and-click adventure. Its bizarre theme should be applauded. However, it rarely works. As such, you are left scratching your head throughout. Yet, I enjoyed the developers' desire to explore an unusual subject. As such, despite the shortcomings, I enjoyed it.

An ambitious RTS that attempts to shoulder the legacy of its predecessors. The skirmish combat remains fun and the campaign map has potential, but it's let down by wonky AI and a confusing difficulty curve.

B.I.O.T.A had some problems that held it back. Its repetitive gameplay, playable characters feels the same, and headache inducing colors ruined my overall experience. For me, this wasn’t a game that can itch that NES or Gameboy Color nostalgia cravings but, I can see why this game can be perfect for others. It is easy to pick up and fun to play. I do wish that the developer can improve more and I will be looking forward on their next project.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection features 14 classic Gameboy-era Yu-Gi-Oh! titles, serving as an incredibly faithful remaster filled with strategy, nostalgia, and card duels.

The Last Case of John Morley is dripping with atmosphere and the story has a lot of potential, but it's dragged down by uninspired gameplay and an underdeveloped protagonist.

Whateverland is an enjoyable Point and Click adventure, if a little rushed. The mini-games are a welcomed alternative to the standard gameplay loops, helping to keep things feeling fresh and new. The Burton-esque visual designs expertly capture the extraterrestrial ambiance, which is similarly matched with the games OST. While the overarching story and character narratives are pleasant, they suffer from a lack of development, occasionally resulting in a flat experience. Personally, I can offer a light recommendation to seek this one out.

From the opening, you could see Clouzy’s potential. The developers pushed for a cute and laidback adventure and that’s what you get. Sadly, however, it never really develops, and this impacts its appeal and depth. Despite its shortcomings, I enjoyed it casually.

Train life- A railway simulator is a beautiful game as well with all the scenery as players pass by. The trains offer a lot of detail from both the inside as well as the outside and I found myself being pulled further into the simulation as I passed by signs telling me I was going too fast or during moments when I realized that the train needed some fuel. This is definitely a fun game for those looking to get into the genre but is also good for those who have a lot of experience in the genre.

I highly recommend checking out “Be my Horde”, especially given its affordable price. It’s a game that rewards strategic thinking and planning ahead, and with continued development, it has the potential to become a standout title in its genre. Keep an eye on future updates, as they are likely to bring even more depth and variety to this already promising game.

Achilles: Legends Untold is an isometric action-RPG that has tough combat, good progression and a great plot. Let down slightly by over-promising, bad voice acting and underused mechanics, it’s still one worth checking out.

Overall, for a very low price, this game provides a lot of content which is very easy to pick up and fun to get on with and I look forward to what the developers at Nerial do next.

The fetch quests sandwiched between the story also provide you with materials for you to create and customize new weapons, or Maglams, but with move-sets that feel identical, this does little to make the action seem any different from first to last.

Backrooms Level X is a retro horror experience that is fun but short. Furthermore, it doesn't offer anything more than any of its peers. Accordingly, it ticks a few boxes, but it'll leave you wanting.

I hate to use this term but Enclave HD really feels like a cheap attempt at remastering a cult classic. The story still holds up well and a fantastic updated soundtrack helps fans of the original game find reason to revisit. With dated combat, awful enemy design and AI and visuals that really have been left in the past, Enclave HD is a another lack lustre attempt to remaster in today’s era of video games. Better to have been laid to rest in the past.

Wildcat Gun Machine is a brutal and hard-hitting bullet-hell adventure. You must scour dungeons searching for keys and killing your foes. Make your life easier by upgrading your hero and finding new weapons. It is tough, looks fantastic, but is also confusing as hell.

Death Howl will undoubtedly attract more players in the future and retain its positive reviews It's a fun, unique and somewhat addictive deckbuilder with appealing artwork, multiple different card combinations, along with some vibrant locations. Whilst the difficulty and constant grinding put me off of it, I still think there's a great game to be found amongst the enemies you'll constantly have to overcome to progress further.

Though I think that overall, the game's positives outweigh the negatives, I had a difficult time really getting into it. I felt that everything was pretty standard for what I might expect in other strategic roguelites and there wasn't anything in particular stood out to me as a player. Still, perhaps one to consider if you are a fan of the genre!

In my humble opinion, The Thaumaturge is a AAA Open World wanna-be game but with limitations. In other words, a gem that is shaped but lack of fine edges. The story and background settings are amazing. Yet, from the world structure to minor details. The limitation of the game has many, such as loading section in between of traveling, the map for exploration isn’t that big enough, the animation lack of details, etc. Despite of all the mentioned, the game still has something to offer. The story campaign, the thaumaturgy and detective investigation puzzles. The Thaumaturge still worth to play if you love any gameplay elements I just mentioned.

Opus: Echo of Starsong-Full bloom edition gives players a heartfelt adventure without asking for 40+ hours of their time. Since there is a heavy focus on music, players can expect to hear a beautiful soundtrack accompanied by Voice acting which was added to the Full bloom edition. The game runs well on the switch and is perfect for the on the go play but since players cannot save manually, it is important to dedicate time to playing the game.

Besiege Console has a fun experimental edge and tough physics-based mechanics. I loved building crazy machines to complete each level. However, I struggled with the floppy controls. Furthermore, it felt a little hectic and too much luck and not enough judgement. This wasn't my cup of tea, but lovers of the genre will fall for its charms.

While it could entertain for a short while, it lacks the depth or innovation needed to keep players invested in the long term. If you’re looking for something fresh or groundbreaking, The Executive likely won’t scratch that itch. It’s a perfectly fine experience, but one that’s all too familiar, and in this oversaturated market, that’s simply not enough to make it stand out.

Sissa's Path is a cute but shallow Sokoban puzzle game. With basic mechanics and a repetitive approach, this is an entry-level game. Consequently, it is perfect for newcomers and those that want a casual experience.

Otomate's "Winter's Wish" is the typical historical fantasy otome experience packed with silly, sweet, and charming bachelors.

Fernbus Simulator is a simulation title that doesn't hold your hand. Consequently, with plenty of detail, this can be challenging to master. Yet, once you understand the fundamentals, you experience a rich driving experience. Sadly, though, a lack of business mechanics prevent it from scoring higher and reaching its full potential.

Exoprimal is an interesting third-person shooter that sadly misses the mark. I loved the potential on offer, but unfortunately, the repetitive action becomes stale very quickly. However, if you subscribe to Game Pass I suggest you give it a go.

Under the Warehouse is a strange and surreal puzzle adventure title. With grim visuals and weird characters, this is an odd but enjoyable experience. Sadly, though I liked it, its core concept was familiar and nothing wowed me. Consequently, there are better games available.

Rayland is a deceptive puzzle title that'll suck you in. You'll fly through the opening stages but the introduction of new mechanics and a lack of a hint system will stop you in your tracks. Sadly, though, it doesn't trend new ground, but this matters not. Manipulate the lasers and deliver the energy on every stage.

Magic Chaos is a 4 players party bullet hell PC game, developed by Super Starmine and published by Phoenixx Inc. The game focus on PVP and nurturing your magical idol fighter to compete with other magical idol fighters. So, it's time to choose your favorite idol and conquer the battlefield.

Overall, GameDec is an adventure fit for those looking for more of the Cyberpunk setting. The idea of solving crimes as a Game detective seems a little strange at first but grew on me as the story went on. By the end of the game, I was fully engrossed in the characters and even was worried about their well-being. Although there are a few minor complaints, GameDec is definitely worth checking out.

If all you’re after is a fairly mindless little tactical card battler/rougelike then this does the job, but there are other games in this genre that do it better, and if you come here looking for classic Three Kingdoms stories, there are others that do that better too. Also I’ve no idea why it doesn’t pluralise Kingdom in the game’s title. Drove me insane.

Greyhill Incident - Abducted Edition is a homage to the best 90s sci-fi adventures. However, a lack of guidance and poor combat elements let it down. Luckily, though, the excellent audio and scary environment work perfectly with the horror moments.

Anuchard had such potential to be fantastic. Sadly, however, it falls short because of its repetition and lack of difficulty.

Dark Quest 4 successfully transforms itself from board to video game but loses something in the process, leaving it feeling a little flat and cold.

Once again, I am not a fan of J-RPGs personally. However, I didn’t hate my time with Jack Move at all. I would credit this feeling mostly to the art and music. They were certainly excellent. The gameplay while staying true to the J-RPG roots, offers a bit of its own variety. I’m glad it’s a short game because if it were longer, it might’ve overstayed its welcome. I’d suggest Jack Move to anyone wanting to give a short to J-RPGs, since it could be too easy of a game for a fan of the genre.

Krut: The Mythic Wings is a retro-inspired side-scrolling adventure title. Its simple gameplay is reminiscent of the best Sega Mega Drive games. However, it is disappointingly repetitive and this reduces its potential.

It needs work, that’s for certain. But these are things that can be ironed out. I think with a bit of polish this game could be great, because there’s some real promise here, it’s just buried under a lot of unnecessary clutter. If you’re a sci-fi lover with a passion for mystery. I’d say this is a game for you. But maybe give it a bit of time in the oven first, this project isn’t quite ready yet.

Alex the Rabbit is a dated platformer that will not test you. However, its basic ideas are perfect if you want a straightforward and easy to understand game.

Pechka is a hard game to recommend. If you are looking for a great story, with an immersive soundtrack and great visual themes, then Pechka has you covered. However, if you are looking for a visual novel game with plenty of story-impacting choices, or any gameplay at all, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

SENSEs Midnight is a horror adventure title that didn't reach its potential. Unfortunately, the move from 2D to 3D wasn't great and the camera angles are challenging to master. Furthermore, I wasn't impressed by the controls. However, I liked the puzzles and though the ghosts follow a repetitive routine; I enjoyed being chased. Accordingly, it wasn't a bad effort, but I was left wanting.
