Edge of Eternity is a true love letter to the JRPGs of the late nineties, an ambitious title that seeks to modernize a classic formula without distorting it. The end result is an imperfect role-playing game, but still capable of entertaining and exciting the player thanks to an engaging combat system and a first-class script, along with a top-quality soundtrack. If taken as a simple FPS, Metal: Hellsinger would be an average one, due to non-stellar graphics, short levels and repetitive boss fights. But add its heavy metal rhythm game gameplay to the mix, and you'll find yourselves captivated by the challenge of flawlessly executing every level, aiming to obtain the highest multiplier possible by hitting enemies following the great head-banging music tracks.

Destiny stays quite enjoyable as long as it has something new to offer, but this ends rather soon leaving us with a well-crafted repetitive shooter and a disappointing story. The lacklustre competitive multiplayer doesn't help either, so it won't probably be what will keep players attached to the game. An encouraging new beginning for the series with an interesting and realistic take on the rally experience, but it's unfortunately hindered by some serious technical problems.

Capcom's work doesn't add much important to the original games, and probably it's a good thing: if you're nostalgic, love retro gaming or are simply curious about video games' past, this will be an enjoyable experience.

The Blackout Club introduces a fascinating and often addictive co-op stealth gameplay, even if wit a bit too much repetitiveness in its system of procedural mission objectives. Definitely a game to consider if you're willing to pass some good non-shooting time with friends online.

Kingdom Rush proves to be a fun and intriguing title, with balanced gameplay and a more than solid technical performance. Even if, given its age, it shows obvious limitations, it represents an excellent opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the Tower Defense genre.

A two sided game. On one side we have a lacklustre technical production, absolutely not on par with modern standards, while on the other side we've got the classical Duke humour, capable of delivering some very funny moments. Duke Nukem Forever is like a refreshing dive in the past of gaming, something that someone will surely apreciate, while others will prefer more modern productions.

The new title from Squanch Games is extremely ambitious, attempting to expand the original formula in every aspect. However, it clashes with production issues, resulting in a rough and imperfect experience with a repetitive gameplay loop. What truly shines is the brilliant writing, absurd situations, and memorable characters. If you seek a flawless FPS, look elsewhere; but if you want a crazy, fun adventure, High on Life 2 remains a wonderfully flawed gem.

NBA 2K24 brings back the excellent on-court experience the series has accustomed us to, with major improvements in player animations thanks to the new ProPLAY technology. There is, however, a need for stronger new features and, above all, it is plagued by obnoxious microtransactions even in modes that shouldn't have them, such as MyCareer.
