Due to some very drastic design choices, Lost Planet 2 is a very peculiar game: Capcom sacrificed a strong story and main character in favour of a more co-op oriented gameplay. If you're the kind of gamer who loved Left 4 Dead, you'll probably love this too: otherwise, if you're looking for a more story-focused action game it'll be a bit of a letdown.- MondoXbox

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is the definitive version of THQ's two-decades old platformer, with brilliant graphics, new multiplayer modes and added content. THQ Nordic even went th extra step of re-dubbing all the voices for multiple languages, a definitely appreciated choice for non-english speaking gamers. With the introduction of FieldSENSE, Madden NFL 23 represents a turning point for the series, on next-generation consoles. A few technical smears still remain, and we hope they will be promptly fixed, but the homage to the great John Madden and the innovations in gameplay make it definitely recommended to all fans of this sport.- MondoXbox

GRIDD: Retroenhanced nails the retro-futuristic '80s sci-fi atmosphere, with gorgeous neon visuals and a great electro soundtrack. And the gameplay is very satisfying too, thanks to shoot 'em up mechanics that require us to think about when shooting at everything that moves or approaching enemies in other ways.- MondoXbox

Formula Legends is a pure, no-frills racing game - accessible yet deep enough to demand real skill. The lack of multiplayer limits longevity, but what’s here works beautifully. For Formula One enthusiasts, it’s nearly unmissable: despite lacking official licenses, it convincingly captures the spirit, history, and excitement of the world’s premier motorsport.- MondoXbox

With Silence Daedalic delivers a fascinating and visually stunning sequel to The Whispered World, but console gamers who didn't play the first game on PC will feel a bit lost, and the interface isn't too optimized for controller use too.- MondoXbox

Assassin's Creed Mirage represents a welcome throwback for the series to a dynamic and fascinating urban setting, providing a good amount of content and a welcome new focus on stealth components. What it lacks is a splash in graphical quality and greater depth at the narrative level (including the modern sections, which are completely absent here). The road taken, or rather retaken, is a good one, however, and we hope Ubisoft has further titles in development in this vein.- MondoXbox

This first episode for Dontnod's new series shows us a mature-themed teen drama with strong narration and some good ideas, even if still just touched on. A good first chapter worth a try for anyone who loves graphic adventures like the Telltale ones, which major downside is the complete lack of any Italian localization for non-English speaking gamers.- MondoXbox

NHL 24 represents a welcome step forward for the series, with new offensive and defensive game dynamics that raise the simulation level of the series, an excellent implementation of cross-play support, and a very satisfying HUT mode that can be enjoyed even by those who don't want to spend extra money.- MondoXbox

A good new beginning for the UFC series in its new EA Sports home. It surely could benefit some improvements in the career mode, but it results however in a solid game that every lover of this genre could be willing to try.- MondoXbox
