Frank and Drake has been a pleasant, fun, emotional and highly recommended experience, a fair break from all the saturation of the AAAs and the monstrosity of their ambitious plans.

A good game of football, just plain, although that's saying a lot for what we've had in the recent era.

Immortals of Aveum introduces some captivating concepts, albeit with a few hiccups in execution. The combat system can be a bit perplexing, and the narrative takes its sweet time to get going without delivering the expected excitement. Additionally, technical performance issues crop up. Nevertheless, our time spent with this single-player game wasn't without its charms. The world of Aveum is undeniably beautiful, and the combat system, while flawed, manages to be entertaining and holds promise. Perhaps a follow-up installment could refine these elements and address the game's shortcomings.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon proves that FromSoftware remains one of the top game studios of our time, undefeated and unstoppable. It's the mech game we've all dreamed of since our childhood, and the best part is, it packs that old-school, hardcore gaming challenge - a trademark of these brilliant Japanese minds. No doubt, it's one of the best games of the year and a great comeback.

Blasphemous 2 really nails the sequel formula: it beefs up the gameplay, expands the world and all its hidden goodies, and keeps you hooked to give it another shot. In this game, every bit of effort you put in pays off.

Exoprimal is a mixed experience. Its simple concept offers immediate fun, as defeating dozens of dinosaurs with the exosuits is very satisfying during the first couple of hours. Unfortunately, the combat system is unable to sustain the entire experience and avoid the feeling of monotony.

Nocturnal is a compact proposal, to the point and with interesting mechanics in terms of combat and puzzles. It is far from the great exponents of the genre, but it bets on some original elements that can undoubtedly attract an audience that does not want to complicate itself with the rigid, demanding and absorbing structure of a pure and simple Metroidvania.

Pikmin 4 captures the essence of the franchise, even if it doesn't redefine the gaming landscape. While it doesn't revolutionize gaming, it delivers the familiar real-time strategic gameplay and introduces interesting changes. The open philosophy in level design and beautiful atmosphere will immerse players in a miniature world. Though it may be too easy and lacks an intriguing story, Pikmin 4 is a solid addition to the series.

Gust and Koei Tecmo achieved a great remake of Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg. They faithfully adapted the features of the original 1997 game while adding modernized gameplay, quality of life improvements, better graphics, and an endearing art direction. The JRPG combat system remains, though it may become repetitive later in the adventure, but exploration benefits from new features.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is an interactive tale that immerses us in a shadowy and humor-filled narrative right from the start. With its distinct style of creatively unraveling puzzles, it keeps us engaged from beginning to end. Retaining the game's original essence while enhancing its visual appeal was a commendable choice. This version serves as a deserving tribute to a truly original game that went unnoticed during its initial release.

Land of the Morning Light delivers a captivating and enchanting adventure, making it an essential expansion for Black Desert Online veterans. While it doesn't address all long-standing issues, it offers compelling content, immersive storytelling, and intense boss battles. It also serves as a great entry point for newcomers seeking a smaller and accessible experience. Overall, it's a must-play MMO expansion that immerses players in the folklore of South Korea.

Crash Team Rumble is a solid experience. The platforming is on par with the original games, while the combat is satisfying and works very well. The final result is fun and has potential. Unfortunately, the game as a service structure is unoriginal. There is only one main game mode and a limited number of characters, so the game gets repetitive quickly. If it had a free-to-play format, it would be an exciting release. However, as a $30 USD game, it's hard to recommend.

No One Lives Under the Lighthouse shows that the underground horror game scene is beginning to show up to expose its creations. Diablo IV remained stuck in the past while trying to find innovation without generating friction with fans who have played the franchise for over two decades; It feels like the ghost of Diablo Immortal continues to haunt the halls of Blizzard. The game is more of a reinvention of the classic experience, focusing on a games-as-a-service format to ensure another decade of content for Diablo.

LEGO 2K Drive does not disappoint and delivers as a very enjoyable racing game. It doesn't aim to dethrone the genre leaders and follows its own path with a fun but somewhat brief story mode. It is a franchise with the potential to become something bigger if it expands the open-world experience, offers new stories, and undergoes natural growth without overusing microtransactions.
