Well they say that if it ain't broke you shouldn't fix it and that applies perfectly to Splatoon. All Splatoon 3 needed to be a success was to refine the already solid experience of its 2 predecessors, and it does that phenomenally well.- LevelUp

Flawed and outclassed, but still keeping the compelling elements that define the Deus Ex experience, Mankind Divided is a competent but lackluster effort that is outshined by its predecessor, by the original and by current competitors.- LevelUp

Nier Replicant 1.22474487139… gives the cult game a second chance. Technical improvements make the experience much better than the original without changing its essence, and new content nurtures Yoko Taro universe, although it didn't age well.- LevelUp

A fun and well designed platformer that lacks the charm to make a long standing impact. You should try it if you want a good and family friendly game for PlayStation.- LevelUp

Project CARS is the first true next-gen simulator. With a good variety of cars and tracks, this game is pretty solid, considering that it was mostly fan funded. The lightning effects and everything else on the track, gives you one of the most realistic feelings a sim can give you right now. Just keep in mind that it's a difficult game, so it's not intended for newcomers, only really hardcore sim fans will enjoy it and make the most of it.- LevelUp

Despite adopting the same formula as Minecraft, Dragon Quest Builders gives the player an adventure of its own. It has an extensive open world to explore, easy to understand crafting mechanics, but the best part of this Square Enix game is that there is a goal to accomplish, colorful characters and great storytelling.- LevelUp

The absence of the traditional gimmick that every Nintendo sequel usually features was actually the right call for Splatoon 2. In the end, Splatoon 2 is a compelling, quick and fun multiplayer game, suitable for new players -due to the simplicity of its mechanics- and veterans that will be seduced by the complex and tactical challenges in Ranked and League Battles.- LevelUp

Stray is a charming adventure that achieves satisfactorily its goals. With exception of some bugs, its problems are far from being factors that ruin the experience of the player. It's Certainly a very enjoyable and relaxing exploration game with a cool cast of characters and an engaging story. And yes, if you are a kitty fan you will fall in love with the protagonist.- LevelUp

Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World is the definitive version of Kirby’s 3D adventure. It combines all the charm of the original game with graphical and performance improvements, new Mouthful Modes and collectibles, plus a new story and interesting characters. The game is still fun, but the new content is short and leaves the impression it could have been used better.- LevelUp

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the triumphant return of one of the best zombie games of all time. While the survivor missions and psychopath battles could have been improved, this is, without a doubt, the best version of Capcom's classic thanks to its updated graphics and gameplay enhancements. A must for new players and veteran fans alike.- LevelUp

Madden NFL 17 is not a revolutionary iteration of the series, but it polishes the finer details of an already well-rounded experience instead. In other words, Madden NFL 17 is like the New England Patriots: they deliver year in and year out but that isn't precisely fresh or surprising.- LevelUp

Octopath Traveler is the magnificent missing link between pixels and polygons. It is game full of nostalgia with an incredible art direction, deep and addictive combat, a soundtrack worthy of the Squaresoft legacy and a lengthy although somewhat disjointed story line. If you are an old school player that enjoyed a classic JRPG , this game is definitely made for you and you will appreciate immensely. If you are new to the genre, it is a great opportunity for you to get to know turn based combat games, pixel art, and understand what all the fuss is about.- LevelUp

Triangle Strategy has the seal of approval of Tomoya Asano, producer of other RPGs that have stood out for having a special touch. This tactical RPG sweetens the look for its aesthetics and draws us in little by little, in a drama full of tragic overtones. The robust story and its battle system are its strong points, although the exploration is practically nil. The narrative is dense and at times very slow, which make the battles feel like a prize for which we waited a long time.- LevelUp

Not all sports franchises are created equal, and some are top-tier. In terms of both improvements and content, MLB: The Show 25 is the most complete installment the franchise has released to date and is already positioned as one of the best sports titles of the year. The Fall Classic is still a long way off, but it's certainly nice to be heading to the iconic World Series with a video game that delivers and exceeds expectations.- LevelUp

FIFA 19 is the materialization of years of experience to provide a fun experience that responds to the needs of the simulation. Although some details of the physics engine will have yet to be refined, and the implementation of some game systems improved, this new installment of the series has surpassed the previous edition. With FIFA 19, the 2018-2019 season will be a great year for fans of football games and it cannot be denied that everything is going the right way.- LevelUp

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is Capcom's best opportunity to bring us 2 of the best titles in the series. This is a fantastic package filled with meaningful content: 10 main chapters with a solid script, unexpected twists and a story that, taken together, is interesting and drives you to know more. The period setting and the care taken in integrating geopolitical elements are excellent details. Investigative scenes, deduction sequences, the ability to examine the evidence, and the attention to detail when pressuring witnesses are all too much fun, plus the addition of a jury and the possibility Interrogating multiple witnesses at once puts a fresh spin on the series.- LevelUp

Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 with solid ports that honor the origins of Kazuma Kiryu. Kiwami shines with upgraded performance at 60 FPS and welcome quality-of-life improvements, while Kiwami 2 delivers a faithful but less polished experience due to frame pacing issues. Strong stories, engaging combat, and Latin American Spanish localization make these versions a great entry point for Nintendo players; though veterans may only find value in the portability.- LevelUp

Pokémon Legends: Arceus proves that the franchise can evolve and experiment for the better. It's a solid game that breaks the mold, and despite its visual simplicity, it doesn't detract from Game Freak's attempt to revamp a classic. Pokémon Legends: Arceus could have been better, but it is an important step towards the future of the franchise.- LevelUp

Helldivers 2 is a massive success and a breath of fresh air for the entire industry. Arrowhead Game Studios surprises with an exceptional game that delivers an epic cinematic sensation, keeping you on the edge of your seat without any pretensions. All of this is achieved without succumbing to the vices of the industry, where players are often exploited with predatory monetization schemes. This deserves to be celebrated. At the moment, we can only highly recommend Helldivers 2; it is a much-needed triumph in the current gaming landscape.- LevelUp

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings the relaxing island life experience to Switch 2 with clear improvements. With quality-of-life updates and deeper customization, this is the most complete version of New Horizons, perfect for players looking for a cozy and creative escape.- LevelUp

Mortal Kombat 1 is like taking a step back in all the right ways. The reboot cranks up the intensity and throws caution to the wind by tossing in the Kameo Fighter as a spicy new ingredient in the classic mix. The freedom you get when pulling off aerial combos? It's downright glorious. Sure, there might be a bit less content to munch on, but the game makes up for it with controls that are as solid as a rock and as versatile as a Swiss army knife. And let's not forget the characters, oozing charisma and packing a punch as they dive headfirst into all-out mayhem. Mortal Kombat 1 is a wild blood-soaked party where fun takes center stage.- LevelUp

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a remake crafted with an immense amount of love and care. Visually, it's majestic and full of charm, the voice acting is superb, the pacing has been polished to be more fluid without sacrificing important narrative points, and the combat is amazing. We hadn't had this much fun grinding in a JRPG for a long time, and we believe that with Reimagined, Dragon Quest VII will no longer be seen as one of the black sheep of the franchise; on the contrary, it will be considered one of the best in the series.- LevelUp
