An excellent simulator, Cities Skylines immerses us in the joy of city creation with its solid foundations, lively mod community and amazing depth, despite its visual shortcomings and the lack of some options present in its competitors.

DiRT Rally's realism will be satisfying for those who really love this sport, those looking for a challenge or those willing to invest many hours in order to master it. But it is also inaccessible, not very innovative and uninspired when it comes to presentation.

PRAGMATA has the potential to be the new star franchise of Capcom; it has a frenetic style of combat, excellent level design, a lot of items to find, a deep variety of personalization and two protagonists that work perfectly together. It is a marvelous action and adventure game that always maintains itself interesting and exciting.

Ni no Kuni is almost a perfect video game adaptation of a Studio Ghibli's movie with only minor problems. Level-5 excels in crafting experiences and Wrath of the White Witch is no exception, from beginning to end exudes geniality. The story is an emotional travel through a fantastic world filled with charismatic characters. The gameplay offers a wide arrange of personalization thanks to an almost endless collection of creatures to capture. In an era in which JRPGs are dying, Ni no Kuni might be the savior that could take things to the next level.

Echoes of Wisdom is a solid game with fantastic ideas that will force you to reprogram that Legend of Zelda brain you've been shaping over years and years of practice. Grezzo has created an experience worth trying and a journey no fan of the franchise will regret starting. That being said, we can't ignore the fact that there are several elements in the game's design that fall short because they don't reach the level of maturity we see in era-defining games.

With The Outer Worlds, Obsidian delivers a worthy entry into the RPG genre with a fun script and good direction. While the scope of the game is shorter than in appears, character development and decision-making guarantee a solid experience, despite some polishing issues.

Bravely Default represents a solid revival of Square's old-school JRPGs with an extremely competent execution and rich, elaborate combat mechanics. However, it suffers from narrative stiffness, bad dialogue, unsympathetic characters and an altogether tiredness in it's cliché-ridden story.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that takes well-known and proven elements, but integrates and executes them to perfection, resulting in one of the best Star Wars games and undoubtedly one of the great titles of the year.

Lies of P is a game that didn't make as much noise as other major releases. However, it's a worthy representative of soulslike titles, offering a challenging adventure with bosses that will make you suffer, and many elements that do justice to the genre. If that's not enough, it looks great, and its narrative hooks you from the beginning.

Starfield is quite the epic ride! This game immerses you in an enthralling odyssey filled with unexpected twists, always keeping you on your toes as you chase down new missions. Nevertheless, the experience is marred by technical and performance issues, the presence of procedurally generated planets, and the reliance on fast travel, all of which tend to dilute the overall sense of exploration.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a good remake, but it's a step below contemporary games that have taken that route to connect with the past. Although it's rough around the edges, it manages to respect Kojima Productions' original work, so beyond the audiovisual improvements and gameplay improvements, you'll have in your hands the same great game from 2004. Nothing more, nothing less.

Without a doubt, this is the best South Park game so far. The quality in the level design, the animations, and the addictive combat highlight this fun experience and really makes you feel part of a South Park episode. The Stick of Truth doesn't try to revolutionize the genre but tries to offer a good laugh from classic poop and fart jokes.

Brutal from start to finish, Nioh 2 turns its outstanding combat system into a deadly dance that knows how to be cruel with defeat, but honorable with victory. It may not be far from the first game, but it was enough to refine the elements that founded the franchise to deliver one of the best titles of the closing of this generation.

Skate Story isn’t played, it’s felt: every trick is a cry of freedom and every fall a reminder of the pain that runs through it. With its hypnotic aesthetic and atmosphere heavy with symbolism, it turns skateboarding into a dark and fascinating ritual. Beyond a few minor details, what remains is a brutally immersive experience, capable of leaving its mark like few others.

At the end, A Space for the Unbound is one of the best indies of the year so far. The gaming experience is pleasant, but also emotional and capable of generating some unpleasant emotions. Brave New World offers a great deal of content and new elements that makes the gameplay so much more dynamic, while maintaining everything that made Civilization V a great game. The real beauty of this expansion lays in the fact that you can actually use art and culture as the weapons through which you can attain world domination.
