Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is much more than just a paint job trying to make a 2006 game look good. It's so much more than that. If you loved the original game you will fall in love with this one. If you didn't have a chance to play it back then and love RPGs or Final Fantasy, don't wait and grab a copy. You wont be disappointed.- LevelUp

Arc Raiders delivers one of the most refreshing multiplayer experiences in recent years, combining excellent art direction with stellar sound design to create a tense extraction shooter where every match feels unique. Despite inconsistent hit registration and AI-generated voices that clash with the game's otherwise high production values, Arc Raiders succeeds in creating a paranoia-inducing experience that keeps you coming back for more loot and memorable encounters.- LevelUp

Despite having flaws in mission structure, the core experience of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is magnificent. For as long as you enjoy the ensemble cast of well written and believable characters in an unbelievable world and you don’t care that the game barely finishes, Wolfenstein II is a game worth the time with its combination of solid and engaging combat.- LevelUp

Plants vs. Zombies fans should stop worrying about the new F2P model. Every level in It's About Time can be solved with the plants and tools included for free in the game and it never feels unfinished or reduced. Gameplay changes are organic and improve the game experience. Even though things like the night levels will be missed, this sequel will not disappoint the fans.- LevelUp

Dragon Ball FighterZ balances very well style and concept. It’s an easy game for newcomers, but has room for experts in the genre to develop advanced skills. This may be the very best Dragon Ball fighting game to date because it captures, aesthetically and mechanically, the core and most enjoyable aspects of the series that fans have enjoyed for decades.- LevelUp

Assassin's Creed IV is one of the best games in the series. The sheer size of the world and the fact that you can take your ship and just sail away, blow a few enemy ships to oblivion, catch a great white shark, take control of a fort and be back in time to continue the main story gives you a great sense of freedom.- LevelUp

Star Ocean: The Second Story R is the best example of how a game can become a jewel after being forgotten for years. A remake full of changes and improvements that surprises by adapting a niche JRPG and transforming it into a modern classic.- LevelUp

It's surprising to be here, in the middle of 2025, talking about yet another Silent Hill game. Today, the franchise is back with two well-defined paths: one that follows the conservative and traditional (Bloober Team) and another that takes risks and experiments. Silent Hill f is part of the latter, and the result, in the end, is satisfying. Neobards' installment dared to push the boundaries but maintained respect for the pillars of the franchise. Although the new and risky aspects show some inconsistency, they don't undermine the concept that gave rise to it and are consistent with what it proposes. I repeat, it works for the game itself, but perhaps not for Silent Hill , at least not entirely. The journey to 1960s Japan has a soul of its own and lets the Western city rest. The prospect of repression and abuse against a woman shape a heartbreaking and terrifying story.- LevelUp

Hell has frozen over, Sega managed to release the best entry in the Sonic franchise in years. To achieve this, the developers effectively captured what made Sonic the best console mascot in the 90s, resulting in a nostalgia fueled trip to the past.- LevelUp

Instead of following trends or the logical path, MachineGames took what it does best and injected what makes Indiana Jones such a beloved series. It grabs you and delivers a sense of adventure so good, it's easy to forget all of its problems.- LevelUp

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection refines the formula established by its predecessors with a deeper turn-based combat system, a charming cast of characters, and a striking anime-inspired presentation. The game successfully adapts the spirit of Monster Hunter into a strategic RPG experience where planning, equipment, and Monstie management play a central role. While its world is larger and more ambitious than before, exploration can feel somewhat empty, making the adventure feel less dynamic than it initially promises. Even so, Twisted Reflection stands as a polished and engaging evolution of the spin-off series.- LevelUp

If it isn't broken, don't fix it was the mantra behind Rise of the Tomb Raider's development: they took the formula from the last game, they added new elements to it and polished some of the mistakes. Sadly, though, the game is far from perfect. However, we are happy to know that the saga is in good hands... Welcome back Miss Croft!- LevelUp

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward represents a fairly large expansion of the world of Eorzea with huge and rich environments for the players to explore. Heavensward continues the story of the Warrior of Light in a rich and somber tone, focusing in solving the conflict rather than wasting your time with trivial quests.- LevelUp

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a game that will satisfy those who have enjoyed the past 2 adventures of this coward plumber. Next Level Games took what worked in Dark Moon, combined it with the best of the first installment and let their creativity flow in other branches to deliver what I think is the best Luigi’s Mansion to day. It is a shame that its pacing is not ideal for a game of its kind, but that does not prevent it from being a high quality product.- LevelUp

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon offers a fun and memorable experience. Even though the lack of a second analog stick damages combat, and ghosts does not have their own personalities and context, Luigi and professor E. Gadd rescue some of the franchise's original charisma, and the basic game mechanic of capturing ghosts still is very addictive.- LevelUp

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon proves that FromSoftware remains one of the top game studios of our time, undefeated and unstoppable. It's the mech game we've all dreamed of since our childhood, and the best part is, it packs that old-school, hardcore gaming challenge - a trademark of these brilliant Japanese minds. No doubt, it's one of the best games of the year and a great comeback.- LevelUp

Forza Motorsport 7 is a great addition to the franchise and with dynamic weather and couple of tweaks implemented in this version, this could be the best Forza ever. The campaign mode is fun and solid with tons and tons of hours to play with. Other great feature is that Forza Motorsport 7 can be played by everyone with the different difficulty settings, so it's not only for racing sim enthusiasts. The only downside is the long loading times between tracks.- LevelUp

Monster Hunter Generations may not be a direct sequel to the Monster Hunter series, but it serves as a celebration to all the hunters that started with the series 10 years ago instead. The complexity of the game is still there, the gigantic monsters too, but the new mechanics are the main attraction of this portable title that looks amazing on a brand new 3DS. In the end, fans of the hunting video game category will feel grateful that Capcom keeps doing great Monster Hunter Games.- LevelUp
