With colorful yet somewhat frightening environments, a great soundtrack and a fantastic combat system, Transistor is a unique experience that’s hard not to be amazed at. Madden NFL 09 is a massive improvement and a great experience for NFL fans everywhere. The two new modes, Madden Moments and Online League are great additions although quite as good as the "classic" modes Superstar and Franchise. Virtual Training Centre works well even though the level of difficulty still isn't entirely well balanced. But if you're a fan of NFL, this is no doubt the game to get.- Level7.nu

Exploring a vast and devastated Russia down in the metro as well as on the surface is entertaining from the beginning to the very end. As opposed to previous spin offs in the Final Fantasy series, Crisis Core is actually a fantastic adventure in it’s own right. The presentation is amongst the best you’ll find on a portable system, as is the story and characters. The 2009 edition of Football Manager is yet another solid title in the series. Having to interface with mass media is a welcome addition, as is the new streamlined interface, improved playability and the new 3D engine for match presentations. Alan Wake has been as hyped as it has been delayed, but now the game is finally here. It starts off as a psychological thriller but quickly switch to a more action oriented experience with light sourced and firearms as the primary gameplay pillars. Alan Wake is a two faced experience, with one side sporting great action and atmosphere and the other side sporting crude graphics and flawed gameplay. But the one issue that hampers the experience the most is the overly linear and repetitive structure of the game. Put these issues aside and you've still got a highly entertaining and atmospheric experience.- Level7.nu

When playing Pokémon Platinum it's almost embarrassing to see how minuscule the changes or additions are when compared to the previous entries Diamond and Pearl. But despite the lackluster list of new features we can't protest that this is still a very deep and engaging adventure with tons of hours for those who simply got to catch em' all. It's safe to say that the combination of Wii and on rails shooter doesn't exactly spark excitement for a new product, and as such a game Dead Space Extraction has received a healthy dose of doubt from fans of the original game. But the fact of the matter is that Extraction is a great game true to the formula and atmosphere of the original Dead Space. Despite the technical limitations of the Wii the presentation in Extraction is great, and had it not been for the short length of the storyline and lack of an online mode we'd have no problem raising the grade a notch. Nevertheless, this is one of the best games on the Wii and the best on rails shooter yet.- Level7.nu

Unreal Tournament III is, like it's siblings on the PC and Playstation 3, a great looking multiplayer title with equally great gameplay mechanics. When N + was released in 2008, it was very well received because of the cruel, yet fair difficulty. The concept is still intact in the sequel: extremely hard micro courses that demands nothing but perfection from the player. To grade a game like this is as difficult as it is irrelevant. The appeal of this game is solely based upon you personal preferences in games. If you're into fast paced action games this not a title for you. If you're into intricate battles and spending obscene amounts of hours collecting loot this is definitely well spent money on your behalf. Played solo this is passable but when played in multiplayer with friends this is as close to a portable MMO as you'll get.- Level7.nu

Think Grand Theft Auto 4, then replace all traces of realism with over the top exaggerated content and finally toss in a co-op mode online and you'll have an idea of what you can expect in Saint's Row 2. It's a great sandbox experience that puts emphasis on having fun while playing rather than looking slick. The major complaint is that because of the playful nature of the game there isn't much you'll take seriously in this game. If you're looking to play around, this is the game for you.- Level7.nu

The latest game in the franchise delivers what the series has always been great at, without jumping any sharks. The story is exciting, the characters memorable and the humor great. The updated 3D graphics feels like a natural evolution of the old style but the difficulty could have been higher. A must for fans of the series.- Level7.nu

Advanced Warfare is one of the most interesting games in the series so far, mostly thanks to a futuristic theme and Titanfall-inspired mechanics. Unfortunately the game feels a bit unpolished when it comes to online battles and because of that it never reaches its full potential.- Level7.nu

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon continues the series' trademark strategic gameplay, this time on the Nintendo DS. If you're a sucker for the combination of strategy and roleplaying elements, this game will let you burn countless hours on your DS. Upgrading your units and making sure they survive is very addictive and fun, and the intuitive online mode is a great bonus. This is not an easy game though and not for the casual player, but for all of you strategy nuts out there, this is one great buy.- Level7.nu

Although this is a scaled down version of the Anno experience we've come to know on the PC it still has enough depth to captivate us through for hours with it's appealing blend of intuitive controls and charming graphics. The controls are well adapted to the unique control scheme of the Wii and the presentation does a god job of conveying all that's going on at any given time. If you're in the mood for a fun and well made strategic experience of a less hardcore nature, this is the game for you.- Level7.nu

Captain Toad isn’t the deepest game in history, but it’s filled with charming graphics, clever design and a bunch of fantastic puzzles. The camera is annoying, and it tends to be a bit repetitive after a while. In any other way Captain Toad is a good choice for the puzzle fan.- Level7.nu

Due to a slow start, forced puzzle moments and a crude visual surface Mario & Luigi: Dream Team doesn’t hold up to the predecessors high standards. It is in no way a bad game, but more should be expected from Alpha Dream and Nintendo.- Level7.nu

At a first glance Helldivers might look simplistic and repetitive, but it does not take long before you realize how deep and enjoyable the core mechanics are. If you want an easy to understand yet challenging cooperative shooter, you cannot do better than Helldivers.- Level7.nu
