    As its own name suggests, this is a handsome collection, since it includes two great games for the price of one. There are very few remasters that can look at it face to face without feeling ashamed.

    Borderlands: The Handsome Collection offers copious content, two whole games, co-op options, local multiplayer up to four players and cross-save. There are slight differences from the original beyond the visual enhancements, so only those who haven't played the original games could show true interest for Gearbox compilation.

    While those with no love for the franchise will, unsurprisingly, find nothing for them here, it does – as a result of the visual upgrades – provide a handsome jumping on point for newcomers, as well as a great way for the Borderlands faithful to catch up on anything that they might have missed.

    All in all, this isn’t a bad collection of two fun titles from last-gen, but it hardly feels like a must-have upgrade for anyone that’s played through both Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel already.

    For 60 bucks you get 2 games with all of the dlcs. This game has a ton of replayability to boot.

The cell-shaded graphics are crisp and high quality, there is tons of added DLC including two new playable characters, and Borderlands is just plain fun. This game is certainly one of my favorite "cough co-op" games on PS4 to play. It also has some replayability factor. The only thing that I disliked about Borderlands was that the menu navigation can be frustrating on certain quests, and I spent more time trying to get to Point XYZ on the map that I spent killing the boss.… Expand

    Here, we have a really great game that went over my expectations. This is a unique RPG / Shooter with a lot of quality content. When I was seeing videos on YouTube, I found that the graphic design was weird but I suggest to keep an open mind and try it ! I also need to tell that the game runs super smoothly on my PS4 pro.

    I completed a solo playthrough with the Gunzerker class. I finished the game being just a bit overleveled and that was great. I think the game can be tough at times, especially for solo players. I guess this game is more designed for coop play.

    To end my review, here are different pros and cons:

    Pros: a lot of content, side quests are not repetitive, characters are charming, a lot of variety for the weapons, interesting skill trees, a lot of replayability

    Cons: Game can be overwhelming sometimes for solo players (that's why I recommend doing all side quests and being always a bit overleveled), story is average, game is a bit aged...

    But overall, a solid 8,4/10 for this game !    … Expand
