You interact with a cute virtual pet with the help of a camera that capture the player’s movement. It is fascinating in the beginning when you learn how to play, interact and dress the little pet, especially for the younger audience. But once the first impression is gone you start to find faults with the control and realize how boring some of the mini games are. It's still great for families with children though.- Level7.nu

With a new team as developers came a fresh start for the series, which in the case of NHL 2K9 is both a good and a negative decision. The gameplay has been greatly simplified, but unfortunately the rest of the experience feels somewhat dumbed down as well. The AI can be somewhat shaky to say the least and the goalies are way to easy to outsmart even at the higher difficulties. A foundation may have been laid with NHL 2K9, but the potential isn't realised in this years game.- Level7.nu

This unexpected sequel still maintains the cool feeling of being a ninja, but all too simplistic levels and monotonous gameplay hampers the experience. The presentation can often be a bit busy, making it difficult for the player in hectic situations. There is basically no replay value at all so our advice is to wait until this title ends up in the bargain bin.- Level7.nu

EA's latest skateboarding foray, Skate It, does a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong. The only part of the formula that truly impresses is the controls, everything else is limited by the technical limitations of the Wii. Skate It does share a lot of what made the original Skate great, but if you want the full experience you're better of with Skate for the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3.- Level7.nu

Tangram puzzles controlled by easy to learn touch mechanics. Galactic Adventures add a whole new dimension to the Spore experience. Now you can beam your creatures down to other planets where they can go on various missions. You can upgrade your hero with armor, weapons and social abilities. This combined with the ability to create your own adventures makes the Spore experience even more vast than ever before. Unfortunately the overall experience is heavily plagued by some really nasty bugs.- Level7.nu

Japanese art in the shape of a pop up-book combined with semi-challenging puzzles did seem quite appealing, based on screenshots. But in spite a wonderfully atmospheric soundtrack and all the creativity the visuals boast, Tengami falls a little bit short. The game is completed within two hours, similar to That game company's modern classic Journey. But what it lacks is a sense of progression and a reason to play. Also, there isn't enough content - just when you think you will finally start experiencing the game, it ends. A shame really, but as both music and graphics are stunning, it is at least a good work of interactive art.- Level7.nu

Beyond: Two Souls is a capital failure as both a story and as a game. The adventure plays itself and the player is left to push the right buttons in the right order. The story you are rewarded with is a mess of odd writing and poor directing choices from a game creator that obviously wants to create great art but seems to be incapable of doing so. Even fans of Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain should prepare for what is unfortunately a monumental disappointment.- Level7.nu

Metal Slug 7 offers you a fantastic action experience wrapped in two beautifully pixelated dimensions. You'll have to enjoy every minute you can though since the content being offered is meager to say the least. Seven levels in total is all you get, and even though you can challenge yourself with three stages of difficulty there is just way to little content to motivate a full retail price. Codename: S.T.E.A.M is an ambitious take on the strategy genre. A striking visual style and nice voice acting make it stand out from the crowd, but the enemy design leaves a lot to be desired. WRC is a mediocre game which combines good driving in the more realistic direction with terrible presentation and a basic but well-functioning online mode. Despite some good points, it is a half-hearted production that falls short of competing with far better titles that are available for half the price tag.- Level7.nu

Just like its predecessor, MotoGP 15 is a racing simulator that is both fun and demanding. The game is primarily aimed at fans of the sport, but thanks to plenty of adjustment options even beginners can appreciate the racing. Unfortunately, the exact same things can be said about last year's edition and it is hard to find any noteworthy additions in this year’s version.- Level7.nu

A shooting game for the Wii aimed at a younger audience and based on the joy of toy guns does sound like a match made in heaven. Unfortunately this is a prime example of an interesting concept hampered by poor execution. Initially you've got access to a number of mini games, some good, some bad. When you master these you unlock harder versions of these mini games. The gun that ships with the game works well, but the overall experience is too bland an uninspiring to be recommended to anyone.- Level7.nu

The sequel to the best selling Kinect game, Kinect Sports, features six new sports to play. Sadly, the game seems unfinished with unimaginative game play, poor animations and lousy controls.- Level7.nu

The latest entry in the Crystal Chronicles franchise does away with a lot of the role playing elements of previous entries in favor of a more action oriented style of exploration where interaction with the environments and combat is handled by motion based Wii controls. Adventuring is entertaining enough but far too many issues with the motion based controls hampers an otherwise decent action adventure game.- Level7.nu

Ride is a racing game filled with passion. There is plenty of well-made bikes to try out and they are a joy to take around the track. Unfortunately the opponents behave like mindless robots, and the terrible loading times wrecks the immersion. Though it does not prevent Ride from being one of the best motorcycle games in recent years, even though there are plenty of room for improvements.- Level7.nu

The classic board game is converted to a digital format, literally. Even though there are three modes in total, of which one is faithful to the board game original and another offering online play, the concept hasn't been adapted enough to the console format. What we're offered here is an expensive and somewhat cumbersome digital version of the board game original.- Level7.nu

2K Sports and Visual Concepts seem to be stuck in the last generation of hockey games and the game doesn’t stand a chance against EA Sports NHL10. It seems that Visual Concept know that they can’t compete with EA Sports and developing something halfheartedly instead of building something new and exciting from the ground.- Level7.nu

Mario Party 10 is a fun but very safe installment in the long running Mario Party series. Most of the minigames will entertain, but it is a missed opportunity and plain lazy to not use the Wii U gamepad in a more meaningful way.- Level7.nu

Despite being quite shallow, internally as well as on the surface, this downloadable title still has some depth to it. Sure, there are few rules, modes and teams offered here, but the most important ingredient is in place. If you're in the mood for a fast paced arcade hockey experience there is tons of fun to be had here. It's not a game you'll be setting up tournaments in, but if you like some easy going hockey fun there are fun games to rival this one.- Level7.nu

A remake of a classic that never reaches its full potential, mostly due to messed up graphics and buggy physics. It's still quite fun, but not as great as it should have been.- Level7.nu

A collection of mini games with controls that actually works great. After a few hours a lack of content might be noticed, but this game is one of the best implementation of the Playstation Move controller yet.- Level7.nu

A strange brew of the Disney universe mixed with Final Fantasy characters in a platform adventure with a lot of fighting and some RPG elements. Unfortunately, it is unnecessarily complicated and wants to be smarter than it really is. The game gets better after a couple of hours, but it's basically only a must buy for the series' biggest fans.- Level7.nu
