  1. Metal Slug games tend to disappear fast and never return, so snag this one fast and don’t be sluggish. If you see a sale, bite and don’t hesitate.
  2. Metal Slug 7 is a godsend to hardcore gamers looking for a portable fix.

Metal Slug 7 delivers what fans of the series expect, nothing more, nothing less. [Jan 2009]
  4. The shrink from arcade to DS screen in no way cramps the experience, offering the same amount of exacting control as it ever did.
  5. Metal Slug 7 provides great action, but unless you're a total completist, it's far too short an experience.
  6. While it may not have evolved a great deal Metal Slug 7 still carries on the classic gameplay that made the series popular.
  7. For all of my bitching, I don’t hate Metal Slug 7. It’s fun enough, functional, and perfect for short bus rides, but I enjoyed playing it more the last six times it was released. Metal Slug 7 proves that shaking down a series for a seventh installment only works if it stars Ron Perlman.

The PSP version has better graphics thanks to its larger screen, but otherwise this is perfectly suited to the DS. Some may be put off by its sadistic difficulty level but it's one of the best games of its type on the system. Expand

    --A Portatil Heavy Machine Gun--

Metal Slug 7 represents a frenetic, dynamic and funny game in the Metal Slug Series. The game is short, but it is usual in the series, it can be played a lot of times, considering that we have six different characters with different characteristics that offer different playable experiences. The problem with this game is that it does not have a multiplayer gameplay, and it does not have too much content more than the seven main missions. On the other hand, the game represents a poor artistic style in the scenarios design that do not offer a charismatic and powerful visual identity. The game is good, funny, and so classic even because the three difficulties offer credits that once they are over, the match finishes.
