   Totally underrated, this game delivers the most fun you can find with 3 friends in a video boardgame and it still hasn't been topped. Me and my friends have been playing it for years . This game comes from a classic Square series but Nintendo's polish in this one puts it on top of the rest. Plus it's the only version in english. Don't forget to pump up the speed in the options and remove dialog. If you have friends and some time to spend GET IT NOW! If you don't.. bad for you… Expand

   I've had this game a year or 2, and it is one of THE funnest board games around! Be prepared for a good hour or so of your time, or continuingI've had this game a year or 2, and it is one of THE funnest board games around! Be prepared for a good hour or so of your time, or continuing it for a few days even if you set the limits high enough! Fortune Street is a classic and it is best described as something like Monopoly but with stocks, and enough different boards and settings for some challenges, resulting in some great games.
   
   Board games require a certain mood and you have to be in it to play this game. BIG tip is to go into the options at the start of a game (your 1st turn), and turn off the chatter and speed up the movements. It could go faster but that's ok.
   
   The difficulty of the computer seems high at first but once you get the feel of the AI it's pretty easy. It gets really fun when all the boards and characters are unlocked, and you can set them up any computer character (I forgot to mention they are from Dragon Warrior and Mario franchises!) with the "S" difficulty, which is highest and Then they become fun to mix with if you don't have 4 people to join you.
   
   Setting up a property on the game for 25,000 and watching an opponent land on it is pretty awesome. This game is not for the sore losers.
   
   I'd rate it less if there was a better board game out there, or a better version of it. But there isn't!… Expand

   this game is awesome, much funnier than monopoly, I'd say most of the negative reviews are from people who didn't bother getting too deep intothis game is awesome, much funnier than monopoly, I'd say most of the negative reviews are from people who didn't bother getting too deep into it, or were alienated by kotaku, who was treating this game like the anti-christ of gaming and nitpicking on every detail possible to criticize it ( including the phrases on the back of the game box, saying phrases about stocks and such ( refering to in game mechanics ) and telling people it was that nintendo meant this game to be for rich people only.
   I think this killed some of the potential for this game in the west, this is the first game of the long running japanese series Itadaki street, that exists since the famicom, and it's one of the most amazing ones too, special boards, lots of characters, definitely one of the best in the series.
   
   Beware though, the CPU opponents won't take it easy on the player!
   and playing with friends is a lot funnier, but won't earn you any stamps, currency used to buy in game character customisation gear.
   
   if you like REAL board games, check it out!
   if you're a Mario Party fan, this miiight NOT be the game for you, since it has no mini-games or some of the crazy stuff the mario party series has, but I think you can still have fun if you get into it!… Expand

   Love this game but it has some issues. This is a little more complicated version of Monopoly that doesn't take too long to learn and master.Love this game but it has some issues. This is a little more complicated version of Monopoly that doesn't take too long to learn and master. Once you play a couple of games it is pretty easy to see how the stock mechanic works and develop a good strategy. The stock market mechanic helps remove a lot of the random luck required to win Monopoly but still too much is just plain luck. The worse part being that you have to be the first person back to the Bank over the target amount. Doesn't matter if you have more money than the person who gets back to the Bank. It's kind of a "blue shell" to rely on dice rolls to get you back before someone else. Overall I have a lot of fun with this game. Surprisingly the online works well. It seems to link you up with mostly people from Japan but you often can get a 4 player match running in about 10 minutes or so. Another drawback is that a game takes about an hour and a half. It's a lot of time to spend to barely lose and not get the gold medal to unlock things. I recommend to anybody who wants a advanced form of Monopoly.… Expand

The best part in my opinion is the difference that each board has, new twists are everywhere and the different paths to take make each board extremely interesting. Play the stocks, and make bank by being promoted. Get it before the Wii goes out of style, which is soon.… Expand
