Vanillaware signs a great remaster, with a superb work both in the artistic and sound fields. Many gameplay hours and enjoyable fights hide several minor issues and make Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir a game you should pay attention to, whether or not you're a fan of the studio.- LaPS4

Those who enjoyed Dishonored's gameplay mechanics and are out for a challenge will be bound to try Dunwall City Trials. Its high difficulty, the urge to beat other players' scores and its low price make this DLC a very tempting option for those who deem themselves fans of Arkane Studios.- LaPS4

Shadow of the Colossus is as astonishing as it was back in 2008. Bluepoint Games has reworked its visuals keeping the essence of Fumito Ueda's game, and make this game ascend to be among the best games ever remade. It has a solid framerate, wich solves a particular issue of the original SotC and results in an all-round superb game.- LaPS4

BioWare doesn't take risks and reuses already known elements and mechanics and the result is a massive game with many hours of fun. Technical issues are obvious, although not so serious to burden five years of development work from a studio that has brought us great moments in the past and will keep doing it in the future. Andromeda exists to be thoroughly explored with that curiosity that fuels the Initiative. It's not perfect, but it's without a doubt enjoyable.- LaPS4

DICE takes aim with Battlefield 1 and it ends up being a jackpot. It couldn't be a better game taking into consideration the limitations imposed due to the game taking place during WWI. It offers some of the best maps ever seen in the franchise. Tons of charisma for a franchise that stands tall against the dictatorship of sci-fi and double jump.- LaPS4

The gravity zero new mechanic is more than enough for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to push away any doubt about it being just a big Borderlands 2 expansion. It is true that it uses most of its past elements, but it doesn't weigh down the experience. In addition, the excessive amount of content will give lots of gameplay hours to those who haven't made the gen-jump yet.- LaPS4

Street Fighter V is ambitious. Capcom expects it to last a whole generation and that's why they bet for new content that will be rolling for the next few years. Its gameplay mechanics are impeccable and the visuals are just stunning, although it lacks some game modes, which together with a small roster and the not-so-good story mode burden the experience a little bit. Obviously aiming for online play, Street Fighter V is a game which will get really popular, and that should be checked out once in a while in order to uncover its true potential.- LaPS4

Borderlands 3 has many good elements. The game itself has a control and shooting mechanics that touch perfection. It is a title that was developed to honor all fans, because the inclusion of known characters makes it become a title that no Borderlands 1 and 2 player can miss. The only thing we can claim from GearBox, the developer, is the inclusion of more features or a slightly more memorable ending. Similarly, for us, it is one of the best games of the year.- LaPS4

Assassin's Creed Origins is, without a doubt, the best entry in the series since Assassin's Creed III. Fixes almost every issue seen in Unity and Syndicate, and fully embraces an open world that feels really good. The combat mechanics, the variety in both main and side quests and the wonderful egipcian atmosphere are its best assets to take your time as hostage. However, the game starts poorly, something that could have changed the way it's seen. Black Ops 3 is three great games in one. The formula is enhanced to maintain the leadership in FPS. This Call of Duty has a few new ideas to feel surprisingly good, such as the co-op mode or the Specialists. The Campaign wants to provoke but it's too pretentious. The Multiplayer mode proves again that it is the king. And the Zombies mode gets the importance that fans were demanding. There are details still left to enhance, like the after sessions, qualification and races interviews, they can turn into something repetitive, or they way classic cars are introduced into the game. Codemasters has managed to offer a game for both newcomers and expert drivers as well, which is a must for DiRT 4 to be really enjoyable. The learning curve is easy to handle, the game offers enough content in several styles and even though the most exigent will always want more realism, it's completely on par with the expectations.- LaPS4

We've seen many remasters, but when it comes to tech aspects, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is among the best. Even if it lacks multiplayer and Golden Abyss, it is an impeccable piece of work.- LaPS4

Mortal Kombat X offers content enough to satisfy the most exquisite gamers, as well as many game modes, both for those who like to play solo as well as online or local multiplayer lovers. Not every new character has the old ones' charisma, but the work of NetherRealm Studios is absolutely remarkable.- LaPS4

Days Gone has become one of the great titles in the PlayStation catalog, and although it does not exceed the quality of the great titans of its generation, offers between 40 and 50 hours of fun, with a good narrative and a great character.- LaPS4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 continues with the path that its two previous chapters began and has become the best chapter to date, as long as you prefer to play its online modes instead of a story. The bet made by Treyarch has paid off and with this title they manage to raise the Call of Duty saga to new heights.- LaPS4

There is so much to discover in Wolfenstein II. Collectibles, endgame missions and Nazi troops destruction. MachineGames has managed to create a superior sequel in every aspect. Plot and gameplay mechanics of The New Colossus entertain, and keeps you playing for hours, with that B series tone that knows what it should look like and isn't scared to put you in bizarre situations that seem to be written by someone who has a few screws loose. Not perfect, but will have its place among the best FPS games of this generation.- LaPS4

Konami takes no risk at all with PES 2017 and just enhances what we saw in the last entry of the franchise in order to make just a better game. It's really enjoyable, similar to what we saw in PES 5 and PES 6. However, there aren't enough innovation when it comes to game modes, and the scarce licenses aren't enough to make Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 the ultimate soccer game of the year.- LaPS4

Ready at Dawn has reached a new level when it comes to graphics. As for the plot, although it's not really innovative, it will keep you playing. There is a good balance between plot and action sequences, although we miss some depth in the interactive parts, as well as in gameplay mechanics.- LaPS4
