Hitman 2 left behind its past as an episodic videogame and gives the players everything they wanted: a bigger world and a lot more of fun. Hundreds of costumes, weapons and several paths to follow in order to offer total freedom to commit the perfect assassination. Agent 47 has returned armed with hours and hours of content. It’s weird to say that being hired assassin is fun, but IO Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive just made me confess.

Arkane Studios pleasantly surprises us with a Prey that, although relatively stealthily, is one of the best games in recent months. The French studio shows that having a great plot is as important as being able to tell the story. Better pacing and controls could have made the game even better.

The Evil Within 2 offers more interesting gameplay than the first one, with open world sections to explore and many optional activities to do. Even though the horror element has been marginalized in favor of exploration and survival, it will disappoint neither those who enjoyed the first game nor newcomers to the series.

2K has made changes that improved the franchise in general. NBA 2K20 is, without a doubt, the best game in the series to date. Although no new mode has been added, those that are present in this edition have small changes that improve, and much, the playable experience within them. Microtransactions aside, which are quite annoying, is a game that can be enjoyed perfectly without spending more money than has already been spent to buy the game.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is a second chance for anybody interested in the franchise's background. This nicely remastered version has no apparent correlation with Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, which can be a disappointment. If the adaptation had been complete, we would be talking about an outstanding game.

Silent Hill 2 is a pretty solid game. Its virtues shine at the level expected of a video game of such an important franchise and manages to keep its flaws from tarnishing the experience.

Dragon of the North adds a new type of weapon, a new region, more missions, the chance to play as the female characters, new bosses and it is the prologue of what seems to be an intriguing new plotline. Perhaps it could have added more than just a big sword to offer more combat variety, although the balance of some old tricks to make things easier will force you to learn new moves in order to pass certain bosses, that's for sure.

The variety of areas that make Nuka World, as well as themed gear of each of them is probably the main attractive of this DLC. It keeps with what we saw in the main game when it comes to gameplay and mission mechanics, without many new things to talk about, but it will most likely be the perfect excuse that those who want to roam the Wasteland once again need.

The Ringed City puts an end to Dark Souls, at least by Miyazaki's hand. Feels short, but just because you want more and more. Be say goodbye to a franchise the way it deserves and look to the horizon, wishing that this is not the end of this kind of game from From Software. Praise the Sun!

Doom is a '90s game made in 2016. It's campaign is, plain and simple, lots of fun, as long as you can keep up with its innumerable battle arenas and its gameplay mechanics, based on movement, pure speed and rhythm. Its multiplayer options lack work and don't depend as much on player skills, although the SnapMap mode leverages it, thanks to its almost infinite edition and creation options. This amounts to an all-around game, especially made for players that grew up with FPS games a long time ago.

Tales of Xillia is, without doubt, one of the best JRPG of the current generation. Although the technical section could be better, the other aspects have the necessary strength to please the fans. The argument, the duration and the battle system are Hideo Baba's greatest assets to convince the West.

It is a compelling, original formula, winch combines RPG and tactical sports where the spell is cast through its character's charisma, the overwhelming options you always have at your grasp, the instant fun of the matches, and through deep, strong storytelling.

Nonetheless, its Achilles heel is the not so appealing storyline, which makes gameplay and audiovisuals the main assets God of War: Ascension has at its disposal.

Battlefield 4 arrives to current gen platforms with a slight improvement of what we saw in Battlefield 3, but with enough innovations in the multiplayer modes to keep players in front of the screen for long hours once again.

Remedy Entertainment wanted to show that daring is in their genes, because Control exceeds everything expected of a game of this style. With a brave stage design, which encourages exploration and omits all kinds of aids, the game is very fun, although the fighting, constant by the way, makes it become something repetitive. Fortunately, the opposite is true with its setting, which shows that the designers of the title are talented people, because the game in regards to the setting is a marvel. In a nutshell, it is a game that can be enjoyed perfectly, if you are not so exquisite with the details and problems presented by the same entry.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is like a main entry in the franchise, but on a smaller scale. Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross are on par with Nathan Drake, being the main protagonists of a story where both characters' charisma is the main focus. Loads of action and visual luxury make this expansion another must, like Left Behind was back then.

With The Evil Within, Shinji Mikami hits the spot once more. It rises as the best option in both next and past generation horror games. It fulfills the expectation that had been building up, with no fear of looking back to retrieve that successful formula that gave birth to genre classics like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.

Although the dynamic gameplay does not meet our expectations, the game has several positive qualities, such as the final bosses, the design of scenarios and the different control routine combinations. Puppeteer is earning the hearts of both the public and the critics, and the low price leaves no room for doubt about purchasing it.

Sonic Mania is the game every veteran of the franchise was eager for in order to feel those sensations of the first time they played with the blue hedgehog once again. A new entry that takes inspiration from the originals and improves them in order to make them even better than 20 years ago. Right away, one of the best 2D platform games you can play on PlayStation 4.

It is a game that tries to redeem itself in front of both the vet and the noob, and its a risk of an online mode that has its feet on the ground in order to run fast.

This game doesn’t innovate much over its predecessors but it has an interesting component of creative and open action. Just Cause 3 is one of those sandboxes that, in the long term and when you have played many hours, is not fun, it's simple entertainment. Avalanche Studio gets one of the most agile, rapid and interactive open worlds, it’s a pure explosion of gameplay.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood may not have many innovations, but the experience is really satisfactory as a whole. A must if you like first person action games

Monolith has refined the Nemesis System and offer a great amount of content that guarantees many hours of fun. However, its repetitive gameplay and microtransactions will delight those who enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, but will not lure newcomers. Shadow of War is a great game, but has a main character that lacks charisma that can't be in the spotlight of a Tolkien tale.

Despite the micro-payments and the controversy after the launch, Star Wars Battlefront II is a more than remarkable shooter of the saga created by George Lucas. A fun, exciting and content-rich shooter that, unlike its predecessor, guarantees many hours of "pew-pew" before the player begins to tire.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided retains all of what made Human Revolution great and augments it. However, there isn't anything new and even has some gameplay mechanics that kinda take us back in time. Amazing for those who enjoyed the last installment in the franchise or those looking for an action RPG, with stealth options, a strong and mature plot and sophisticated gameplay.

Frontier Developments offers us a solid management simulator with a wide range of options at our disposal, which are challenging from the start. A game that excites and thrills, and where the feeling of being in charge of a big science and entertainment company is very real. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a different experience that you won't find in any other Dragon Ball game. As for its proposal, is fun and complete, ideal for any lover of the popular anime of Akira Toriyama. Rise of the Tomb Raider will go down in history for being a Triple A game with production values worth of a TV series. Every good aspect of the game are the same ones that made Tomb Raider (2013) a superb game, and it is still as enjoyable as it was back then. It is a must if you like action and adventure games and you will like it even with the lack of new mechanics.

The work of the Spanish developer Piccolo Studios has used its resources to the fullest and offers in this title an example to follow for the path of video games.

The wish to have all of the series in PS4 is way too attractive to those who still don't know what this craze is about with regard to Sora, Donald and Goofy. It's addictive and realistic.

Mortal Shell offers a souls-like with a dark story, innovative gameplay, and great graphics quality that will overwhelm fans of this genre. Its short duration and its limited variety in some aspects leave you wanting to see a second chapter.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice won't leave anyone indifferent. It has some technical limitations but its gameplay mechanics are just superb, and the atmosphere created is really oppressive and achieves its goal with flying colours. It is one of those games where you really suffer for the well-being of your main character. If this is the course that Ninja Theory wants to take with their subsequent games, we'll be pleased to spend our money at every launch date.

CoD 4 changed everything and this remaster comes to us to make us remember how that beginning was. More remake than remaster, Raven Software done a good job introducing some gameplay changes and makes it a more balanced and rich experience, although it lacks some more content if they were up to the challenge of adding things.

Blizzard offers us an excellent port of Diablo 3, an adaptation of the world of Sanctuary with console gamepads in mind. A number of other options have also been included, aiming to maintain playability for the Playstation 3 fans of the saga.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 is, in general terms, the same game we already played last year on PS3 and PS Vita. It offers slightly better visuals. However, only those who haven't played the game in the last remaster have a true reason to play it.

Yakuza Kiwami is true remake. Most likely taking advantage of the work made for the latest entries, they took the first game of the franchise, made a visual overhaul and addes enough gameplay mechanics to be far more than just that. Knowing there is a Kiwami 2 in development is also great news, we can't wait to see the Dragon of Kansai in all its glory if the game is on par with Kiwami.

Burial at Sea - Episode 2 is the perfect ending for both of Bioshock games created by Ken Levine. The references and interconnections between both worlds are perfectly justified. Playing stealthy will test our skills because, due to Elizabeth's fragility, the enemies look really fearsome. State of the art visuals, but again, a disappointing lack of Spanish dubbing.

Without inventing anything, Cyber Shadow does everything right by creating a magnificent combination of elements, building a challenging, high-paced experience that proves that 4K and ray tracing are not necessary to create an unforgettable game in 2021.

Freedom Wars is a ray of light in PS Vita's catalogue thanks to its deep plot. A must for the handheld, but only for those who like Japanese games. Even so, it's a recommendable game for those looking to spend many hours in order to reduce that million year sentence.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red is a great game for fans of Eiichiro Oda's work. Nice visuals, great adventures and two playable modes for hours of fun. The addition of Colisseum Mode is one of its best assets.

This second season allows you to walk along Clementine in her journey to grow up and survive, with the same identity of the first season. Although in general terms it's plot is not as deep, the journey is overall absolutely worthy. More than just a recommendable interactive adventure.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes from PC world to become one of the most complete RPG games in PlayStation 4 catalog. The freedom of action it offers will appeal to players who are more familiar with the Rol genre, but maybe the amateur players will find too much complexity in this game. The control is not accessible at all and the keyboard and mouse are missing on more than one occasion.

WWE 2K15 makes its debut in the next gen with a notable game. Controls have been fully redesigned in order to offer the best gameplay mechanics, and its visuals are mainly what you would expect.

Skyrim Special Edition won't bring anything new to PC, but the actual console players have the chance to rediscover one of the most relevant games in the last years. Hundreds of hours of gameplay so you can forget its obvious flaws and keep track of its gorgeous landscapes and the feeling that you can roam free wherever you want to. Not as amazing as five years ago, but still an absorbing experience.

OlliOlli bursts into this year's games as one of the best and at a good price. It offers a bunch of hours of fun, something that is enhanced by a great soundtrack.

South Park's signature sense of humour takes over this game and entertains the whole time, although it lacks that surprise factor that was the first game. Ubisoft doesn't add much to the franchise in this game but, even so, this doesn't hinder The Fractured But Whole in its target to be enjoyable by fans of the TV series.

Codemasters keeps improving a franchise in need of something else to be among the sports top franchises. Even though it has notable gameplay mechanics that will delight both veterans and newcomers alike, it has several technical issues that weigh down the overall experience. Its enhancements in career mode and settings make it a game to track down for those who like F1.

Tales of Hearts R is one of the best games available for PS Vita. Nice visuals, dynamic battles, full of possibilities and translated to Spanish. A must for all of the fans of the genre that both vets and newcomers of the franchise will enjoy.

The Assignment is one of those weird DLCs, because it's worth playing. The change in the gameplay mechanics is seamless and interesting. We are eager to see how the plot unfolds in The Consequence.

Ghost Games brings us a Need for Speed game with many fan-favourite features such as customization, impossible skids and arcade driving. Although being always online could have been optional and some of the game aspects could have been taken from another perspective, the game is great and most fans won't be disappointed.

Little Nightmares is a remarkable game, focused on its gloomy atmosphere, as if taken from a gothic tale. The monsters in Six's way are things that can only be born from a kid's worst nightmare and it is really enjoyable to see how it becomes real on your screen. In reality, there isn't anything new here, but Tarsier Studios has taken all these things and added its own personality and narrates a horror tale that kept my eyes wide open during the entire experience.

Cross-Buy and online modes absence impoverishes a game that could be the best pinball simulation to appear in consoles. More than twenty boards with great physics, superb light effects and an obsession with the details are something to highlight in The Pinball Arcade.

Need for Speed Rivals is loaded with adrenaline and speed, and powered by the powerful Frostbite 3 engine. This title by Ghost Games will serve its purpose as a bridge between two console generations, and will certainly capture the attention of the general audience.

Trials Fusion is one of the most entertaining games you can come across nowadays. It can be one of the best choices among Playstation 4 actual games to have fun for a while and you will always have a challenge to face.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an entertaining spin off where we will know a new facet of one of the favorite characters of the Yakuza saga, besides being able to live a pirate adventure, with all the craziness that can lead both the character and the surreal idea that proposes, getting a game more focused on adventure than in the usual drama of the saga.

Judgment comes to the new generation of consoles with a facelift, with fluid combat, better graphics and animations and at a reduced price, which makes it one of the best adventures to enjoy the new generation.

Few philosophers have told their theories as well as this game. The Talos Principle is a challenge to your mind but also it’s a challenge to your thinking. In PS4 it has some framerate issues or popping, but it gets to be as magical as the original title a year ago.

WWE 2K17 has lost the Showcase, demanded by nostalgic players, but has improved the general gameplay experience, easier to learn than in the last entry. A wide array of fighters, new animations, new combat areas, hundreds of skills and a superb Career Mode make WWE 2K17 a must for every wrestling fan.

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD has received a warm welcome on Playstation 3. The enhancements in the graphics are easily noticeable. Although it lacks of something new in the mechanics of gameplay and the absence of multiplayer, the excellent conversion, and the change in the way you control Aveline, makes it a game that deserves to be played.
