For the first time, you can really be the Batman and it's a exhilarating feeling. Rocksteady adapted Batman to VR really well: they kept focus on investigation instead of fighting, avoiding motion sickness by making Batman still. And they eventually offer a surprising scenario. It's far from perfect, but it's one of the best experience on PS VR you can play today.- JeuxActu

Players will have trouble considering Prototype 2 as a full-fledged sequel. The lack of surprises regarding the gameplay compared to the previous title, and a story that is not worth telling despite some amazing live action cutscenes, could curb the enthusiasm of the few players looking for new game mecanics. However, Radical Enterainment managed to create a gaming experience as intuitive as the one offered in 2009 in the first Prototype. So, James Heller will surely help some players reach true power with their controller and it would be crazy not to try!- JeuxActu

Nobody saw it coming, but Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has ended up being one of 2025’s biggest surprises. When we tried it out at Summer Game Fest back in June, we knew it had potential as a solid Souls-like, but we didn’t expect it to be this good. he Chinese studio Leenzee didn’t just try to copy the Souls formula, they really took the time to understand what makes the genre tick, and then built something that feels deeply rooted in Chinese culture. That unique identity is one of its biggest strengths, and it brings a refreshing brightness and atmosphere you don’t usually see in these kinds of games. Technically, Wuchang Fallen Feathers also delivers, it’s stable, smooth, and well put together. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the game looks stunning, with beautiful panoramas and a nice variety of environments. Now, sure, it’s not perfect. Some parts can get a bit frustrating, the enemy variety isn’t always amazing (though the boss fights are seriously cool), and there are a few difficulty spikes that feel a bit off. But honestly, those flaws don’t take away from the overall experience.- JeuxActu

It took 20 years for Peach to be the main character in her own game again, the last one dating back to 2005 and we were on Nintendo DS. Times have changed, as have morals and Nintendo has understood this well with Princess Peach Showtime, which also stands out from Mario by moving away from the classic platformer. Here, it is more of an adventure designed to highlight the many abilities of the character, capable of changing outfits as well as gameplay, all surrounded by a perfectly crafted theater theme. Ninja, swordsman, mermaid, detective, superhero, pastry chef, skater or downright kung fu expert, we move from one style to another with great pleasure, even if the absence of challenge risks making the players wince the most seasoned. In any case, the game is clearly intended for younger people, those who will be less demanding and will not complain about the sometimes incomprehensible framerate drops.- JeuxActu

Like snow or Christmas decorations, Call of Duty shows itself by the end of the year. Like every year since Modern Warfare. This time, it's the turn of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, developed by Treyarch. Unlike its predecessor, the story sets in two distinct eras, the 80's and the year 2025. Two viewpoints which allow the game to offer many side roads in the story, and 8 different endings. This is a first for such a mainstream series. Of course the game's core remains the same on the basics: cinematic action, epic scenes and a percussive score. Even if Black Ops 2 reuses old recipes, it does it really well and remains a great experience.- JeuxActu

By listening to its community, Bohemia Interactive is selling us the most well-polished ArmA yet to this day, with numerous options for in-game content creation. With an exceptional graphics engine allowing a superb rendering and well evolved physics ArmaA imposes itself as the reference of infantry sims. With a very demanding gameplay, ArmA 3 claims its elitism and raises it as a dogma to face the competition. Mafia The Old Country was meant to revive the franchise after the failure of Mafia 3. Its strengths lie in a gripping story, charismatic characters, and a beautifully realized Sicilian setting. The cinematic presentation and soundtrack add real flair. But the gameplay falls flat: gunfights lack punch, stealth feels dated, knife duels repeat themselves, and stiff animations break immersion. The game also over-assists the player, undermining its own realism. Killzone: Shadow Fall is a very good tech demo for the PS4, but also an excellent FPS with nothing to be ashamed of in front of Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty Ghosts in terms of gameplay and multiplayer experience. Sony's game does even better with an open gameplay, where the use of the combat drone was well thought out at start. Shadow Fall is maybe a bit less spectacular and fast-paced than Killzone 3 in it's solo mode, but it gained in open-mindness much to our enjoyment. The exploration is a new element to be reckoned with which is a good thing when you know you're going to spend hours staring at those marvelous graphics that set the tone for the story. Giving the player some choices, that's the mainstay of a game which keeps its promises in spite of a few polishing flaws. A game that offers a very good solo and multiplayer and should appeal to most gamers.- JeuxActu

Canceled, postponed, stunned by the COVID crisis, then paralyzed by the war in Ukraine, STALKER 2 is, we can say, a miracle. However, despite this good news, and like all these Arlesiennes who arrive in pain after so many years, there are inevitably cracks, even fractures. And a few minutes are enough to see the handicaps that are dragging the GSC Game World title down. Technically first of all, STALKER 2 is lagging behind, with a 3D engine completely overtaken by events. Everything seems frozen, as if we were finding the STALKER of the 2007s, whether in its still life, its static NPCs or its creatures animated with a trowel. The artificial intelligence of the enemies is unfortunately not spared by a lack of know-how, with soldiers who are able to spot us from miles around at the slightest crack of a branch, but are unable to move properly. The open world is certainly gigantic and makes us experience the life of a true survivalist in wartime on a minefield of anomalies as painful as they are invisible, but the progression is marred by a slow, painful and above all unexciting pace. We tried to cling to this story of supernatural elements and a Skif at bay, but the countless bugs and the game system stiffened by this rigid handling and this mediocre interface will have finished off the little enthusiasm we had left. That said, if you are patient, conciliatory with a game whose development was not helped by extraordinary circumstances, and above all totally addicted to the great atomic-Soviet thrill, you might enjoy traveling in the shadow of Chernobyl…- JeuxActu

Are Sparkling Diamond and Sparkling Pearl good remakes? The answer to this question depends on your affinity with the artistic direction of Chibi, as well as your expectations in terms of loyalty or, on the contrary, novelties. Here the cursor clearly leans towards fidelity, which seems to reserve the two games for a nostalgic audience. Newcomers might indeed be put off by some gameplay elements that have aged rather badly. Dead Island 2 is not doing too badly, especially for a development that started more than 10 years ago. But we obviously cannot ignore all the archaism of its game design. Whether it's the overall structure of the game (several small, very down-to-earth open areas, without any possibility of verticality), its basic and repetitive gameplay, Dead Island 2 can put off some players. Eagle Flight is pretty much everything we want from a VR game. A fun concept with a great gameplay and no motion sickness. The only real drawback is the very light content for a 40€ game.- JeuxActu

WWE 2K16 fixes some problems inherited from the last episode of the series, especially in terms of content. But it keeps trailing certain issues that makes it unworthy of our expectations, unworthy of the platforms it runs on.- JeuxActu

The Get to Work expansion pack for The Sims 4 fills one of the many gaps the main game displayed. If you always wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or a P.D. then The Sims 4 : Get to Work should keep you busy for some ten hours.- JeuxActu

Unless you're a fan of the comics, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 hasn't got much to offer. The gameplay is quite generic, the story is dull and the technical side of things is quite a let down.- JeuxActu

The Surge is basically built upon the Dark Souls model, but brings it into a futuristic world with some nice touches like the combat system that allows to cut limbs. It's still is quite difficult and intended for masochistic players.- JeuxActu

We will be honest with you : by launching Far Cry 6, we came with a negative opinion. It's true that since the Primal episode, the series has declined over the years, with a New Dawn spin-off completely missing its pumps. But it seems that Omar Bouali and his team at Ubisoft Toronto did not want to be responsible for the downfall of the saga. Result : Far Cry 6 surprises and amazes on many aspects; starting with its story, much more interesting than any that we have lived since the beginning of the series.- JeuxActu

Double Helix Games had to do something big for this brand new Killer Instinct, something that sticks with the codes of today's fighting games. They took a lot to Street Fighter, it's not genius, but you can feel the balance between old stuffs and new ones. It's fast and explosive but Killer Instinct hits far too hard in the wallet.- JeuxActu

Marvel's Iron Man VR is a VR game that will appeal a lot to fans of the IP, and while some of it is nice, there are lots of shortcomings chief among which are the poor story and the very long loading times.- JeuxActu

After the very good FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot could have been a worthy RPG for the fans, but the game ultimately underperforms in too many areas to be of any interest to anybody but the most hardcore of Dragon Ball fans.- JeuxActu

Worms Revolution remains as fun as the previous titles of the IP, adding some new features like a shuffle mode, water-based worlds, and classes for our worms. And yet, Team 17 suffers from a lack of ambition, Worms Revolution being a shy evolution of Worms Battle Islands. That's why players that are fond of the IP won't be surprised by the new weapons or some levels with good ideas of interaction.- JeuxActu

Way more interesting than it's cousin Space Hulk: Deathwing, Space Hulk Tactics stays true to the mechanics of the board game while peppering it with a cleaver system of cards. Overall it's still a niche game made on a budget, but it performs as required.- JeuxActu

It's hard to be fully satisfied with First Light if you've played InFamous: Second Son. The game as a whole continues to be very fun but some features wouldn't have been erased. We've got some regrets for the karma system obviously and above all, the missions lack something new. Nevertheless, for such a price tag, First Light will keep you busy for some time and perhaps you'll be happy to learn about Fetch's life.- JeuxActu

Mario Strikers Battle League Football does not disappoint in its gameplay. The controls seem basic but they are extremely deep in reality. But the game has serious problems which are its lack of content and a big concern for clarity on the ground. Online gaming has also been botched.- JeuxActu

Old school but enjoyable, Evil West offers us a scenario of cowboys and vampires, a very naughty gameplay, and a general design inherited from the games of 2010. A formula that quickly finds its limits in certain aspects of the game, but its combos devastating will satisfy you.- JeuxActu

If AirMech Arena is not exactly bright and shiny at first, you need to admit that it works wonderfully well once you get the pad. The newcomers will appreciate the way you can learn MOBA basics, while the others will enjoy all the strategic part of the game. It's a shame that AI and too recurrent disconnections come to spoil this positive scene.- JeuxActu

Since it's first adventure, Styx has grown and now offers quite complex infiltration mechanics, along with a very well done level design that allows for a lot of replayability. The only drawback is the crappy humor and appalling punchlines. A pretty good game overall.- JeuxActu

If the fact of constantly replaying the same type of online games in order to progress your characters does not scare you, then Evil Dead The Game will not disappoint you. The gameplay is solid, the references to the films of the saga are numerous, the graphics have nothing to be ashamed of, the demonic creatures and the soundtrack are very creepy, and the knockouts bring a good dose of gore.- JeuxActu

If you liked Castlevania: Lords of Shadows, you'll like Mirror of Fate. Mercury Steam succeed in combining the basis of Konami's reboot and some old stuffs from the early episodes. The result is ten hours of an intense and gripping adventure that will lead you to the end of Dracula's reign. The choice between four characters is very welcome, exactly like the renewal in the gameplay. A successful bet.- JeuxActu

Sadly this remaster of Beyond Two Souls doesn't bring much to the game. The graphics improvement is minimal, and the lack of 60 fps framerate is quite unfortunate. Beyond Two Souls stays one of the best narrative games of the last few years.- JeuxActu

For a first shot, we can count it as a success. Remember Me is not flawless but mort of those flaws are due to the ip's youth or an excessive care. Good ideas not well used, features that are too limited in use or too rare, some repetitive things too, but that's pretty much all we can criticize the game for. The risk-taking brought by this new gameplay, a new context and a unique universe are wonderful. On the looks, the bet is won et we would even like to know a bit more about this strange Neo Paris. Maybe in another title? With such inspired graphics and creativity, we hope the sequel will follow on quite quickly.- JeuxActu

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is far from perfect mainly due to the sheer number of characters, which is really too much to get the player involved in the story. The other main problem is the back and forth travels you have to go through between missions, those really kill the rhythm. The game is a quite good port from PSP to PS4 and has the merit of demoing what Final Fantasy XV will be.- JeuxActu
