I have a love-hate relationship with Rainbow Six: Siege. The game has some policemen shooting at each other and the famous Rainbow team is nowhere to be seen. There's no storyline (except one short but great mission) and the terrorists appear only during training. It's weird but still every dynamic encounter with the enemy provides tons of fun and satisfaction.- GRYOnline.pl

Black Ops III is a good Call of Duty game but it's far from an overwhelming success. The campaign is too long and becomes boring with repetitiveness, and beautiful levels and character design contrast with some truly ancient technical solutions. The multiplayer part of the game is much more consistent and really cool but some of the new things were introduced in Advanced Warfare. Last year's CoD made more good for the series but BOIII will definitely find its audience.- GRYOnline.pl

Heroes of the StarCraft saga deserve a better finale than the one shown in Legacy of the Void. The story isn't very appealing but fortunately the gameplay is. The missions are diverse (though a bit too scripted), new game modes are interesting and the unbeatable multiplayer mode has become even more dynamic. It's all good but you'd want even more.- GRYOnline.pl

The Old Hunters is a very good DLC that needs some time to gain full momentum and even during weaker moments its quality is high. The artistic vision isn't as clear and overwhelming as in the basic game but I had great fun and all Bloodborne fans will feel the same, I'm sure.- GRYOnline.pl

Just Cause 3 is a good game, but it should be better. The open world is phenomenal, chaotic fun makes you smile and graphics are extremely pretty. Unfortunately the gameplay is plagued with minor technical issues, clunky combat and weak storyline. The flaws are small but there is a lot of them - hence a little let down.- GRYOnline.pl

Hard West deserves attention despite some flaws. It is not a western version of XCOM, there aren't many similarities to Might & Magic: Heroes. It is its own game with an interesting idea that suffers from technical issues and a bland ending. The game itself is far from presenting the story in a cinematic way - if you don't have a problem with that, you'll be pleased.- GRYOnline.pl

Ubisoft did a much better job with Syndicate than with the PC version of Unity. The promise to keep a closer eye on quality control of future Assassin's Creed games has been mostly kept. Still, Syndicate on PC could benefit from additional code optimization. If you don't own a console and enjoy this universe you should be happy with this version.- GRYOnline.pl

Star Wars: Battlefront is a game that looks and sounds awesome, has amazing maps and a very cool arcade way of shooting things. Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is a game build according to rules existing ever since The Walking Dead became a huge success. This six episode story is engrossing, offers lots of emotions and forces the player to make difficult choices but the illusion of non-linearity disappears during replays. And, of course, there is very little interactivity in this "interactive series" but fans of the genre, HBO's TV show and of George R.R. Martin's books should be happy.- GRYOnline.pl

Fallout 4 is a really decent game that (unfortunately) dismisses all the good and important things set up by its great predecessors. The world is big, the exploration is excellent and the post-apocalyptic atmosphere is present. But all the good things about F4 come from its world - it's a great sandbox game and at the same time a very poor RPG with a thin storyline and few connections to the brand's heritage.- GRYOnline.pl

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a game that is built on the solid foundations of the first installment of the rebooted cycle and as such it works great. Unfortunately, because of the few novelties (e.g. heavily modified crafting system), the game is no longer the emotional roller-coaster that it was during our stay on Yamatai island. As a next installment in the series the adventures of Lara Croft work well, but the famous Miss Archaeology won't come away completely unscathed from a duel with Uncharted 4.- GRYOnline.pl

The new Need for Speed, a reboot of sorts, is a pretty, very enjoyable arcade racer that has been mixed with a boring, pseudo-storyline and a surprisingly dull city. The car list is interesting and looks good, the gameplay is satisfying but in the long run you don't feel the need to keep racing and there's too little of the "illegal night rivalry" atmosphere.- GRYOnline.pl

Life is Strange is one of the episodic series in the short history of the genre. The game has a great story, skillfully takes on serious issues and has a really good soundtrack. What's more - there is at least as much gameplay as there is simple viewing, and the entire game can take more than a dozen hours to finish. There are some minor flaws here and there but they won't overshadow the fact that this is one of the best stories of the year.- GRYOnline.pl

Tales from the Borderlands marks the return to high form after a mediocre (in my opinion) second season of The Walking Dead. WRC 5 looks really good. Changing the development team to Kylotonn had a clear impact on the quality of the game. Right now there's no point in comparing the new WRC game with the early-access DIRT. Halo 5 has a run-of-the-mill campaign that isn't as interesting or exciting as the one from Halo 4. Sword Coast Legends is a disappointment. After a long wait for a decent cRPG in the Forgotten Realms universe we got a weak campaign and a mediocre technical side that wouldn't stand a chance when compared do Dragon Age: Origins. Interaction with the game world in poor and quickly the game becomes reliant on combat (which - after a few hours - is tiring). Sword Coast Legends can be recommended only to hardcore Forgotten Realms fans.- GRYOnline.pl

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is an uneven game. Victorian London is great, there's some well executed evolution (running around, jumping and using stealth is getting better and better) but there's still some very stupid AI and tiring combat. Syndicate has some excellent missions proving that this type of gameplay can be exciting but unfortunately they are in minority. Skyshine's Bedlam promises more than it offers. The game makes a good impression with audio and visuals reminiscent of the Borderland series, but a cool gameplay concept has been buried underneath a weak tactical mode. Forza Motorsport 6 is one of the best installments in the series but Forza 4 still wears the crown. You could ask yourself why this series isn't simply growing from game to game and why the players are getting "only" tweaked graphics and different car and track lists. Everything really looks better and runs much smoother. Ubisoft seems to sail in the right direction but to see if some conclusions were made from Unity's flawed debut we'll have to wait till the premiere of AC: Victory.- GRYOnline.pl

Homeworld Remastered Collection is one of the best reissues ever. This package has been prepared by fans for fans. The graphics look phenomenal, the gameplay model did not age at all and the satisfaction after completing some more difficult missions is as big as it used to be 15 years ago. Gearbox simply nailed it.- GRYOnline.pl

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse is a weird game. Fans of the TV show should be very pleased but the game still disappoints in many ways. It suffers from lack of focus. The single player campaign is weak and everything is saved by the multiplayer mode. The consequence is this: solo gamers and fans of typical beat'em up games won't have much to do here.- GRYOnline.pl

The Order: 1886 is a pretty good game, nothing else. Almost every part can be criticized: the story flows nicely but is extremely predictable, the fights are good, but only the ones with people in them (lycan fights are boring), graphics are gorgeous, but the world feels empty. Sir Galahad's adventure is yet another bit of proof that beauty isn't enough. You should see The Order in motion but do so only after some significant discounts.- GRYOnline.pl

Sunless Sea is one of the most interesting virtual journeys I've had recently. The stories we read during playing are definitely one of the best and most original - but after some time everything becomes a routine. Pratchett or Lovecraft fans will find something here but for everyone else it's a lottery. Simply put: Sunless Sea isn't for everyone.- GRYOnline.pl

Evolve is a game with an interesting, original concept and good execution that suffers from lack of diversity. The game has enormous potential and playing with a team of good friends should provide tons of fun - the battles are really intense. It is a real shame that Evolve doesn't really "evolve" into something great - this feast tastes good but consists of only one dish that after some time gets bland.- GRYOnline.pl

Atilla is the same for Rome II, as Napoleon was for Empire - a very interesting and playable expansion. But is Total War: Attila interesting for fans of the entire series? Definitely! It's a game aimed at Medieval II enthusiasts. You get diverse factions, a correct strategy map and a great nation management system based on a tech tree and family tree. It's not perfect but it is very good.- GRYOnline.pl

Raven's Cry is an embodiment of the term "wasted opportunity". On the basis of a great atmosphere and some interesting ideas there grew a game making an awful first impression, a game full of bugs and a wobbly gameplay. Right now Raven's Cry isn't worth its price tag but don't forget about it - after some patches and a significant price drop it should be playable.- GRYOnline.pl

Grim Fandango is a work of art but the remastered edition leaves some things to be desired. The original is worth every praise - the remaster is not. It's still a great game but when a developer tries to freshen up old classics for the younger generation it has to be done right. In other words - it's almost the exactly the same case as with Heroes of Might & Magic III HD.- GRYOnline.pl

In terms of gameplay mechanic, Dying Light is great - we have excellent parkour and a very good day-night cycle. Unfortunately 99% of quests (and there are lots of them) are cut from the same cloth. The game looks fantastic, but on some PCs you won't be able to play comfortably (due to technical issues). But despite all that (and a lack of interesting story), Dying Light is a very decent game for the fans of the zombie apocalypse.- GRYOnline.pl

Grey Goo is one of the most interesting recent RTS games and right now there aren't many games in this genre to choose from. Real time strategy fans will be pleased but it's definitely not a perfect game. Grey Goo wants to be StarCraft (the atmosphere, 3 races, good storyline) and the new C&C (slow gameplay and minimal micromanagement) at the same time. As such it suffers a bit but you need to appreciate the good intentions.- GRYOnline.pl

Heroes of Might and Magic III HD Edition was supposed to be a way to celebrate 15th anniversary of the game and 20th anniversary of the series. Unfortunately Ubisoft failed. The freshened up version of HoMM III is not a product worth a relatively high price - especially it you find out how much the fans have improved the original. The biggest flaw of the HD Edition is an absurd price to quality ratio - this package simply doesn't contain all the things it needed to.- GRYOnline.pl

The Talos Principle offers a great story that demands a reaction from the player, but first and foremost it's a great puzzle game - based on simple rules and extremely satisfying. It's definitely one of the most interesting games of 2014. A big surprise and a FPS puzzle game that's really worth your attention (especially if you're looking for something more than just puzzles).- GRYOnline.pl

You should take a look at The Witcher Battle Arena not only because it's a free game. The Witcher MOBA has this illusive "something" that pulls you in and generates lots of fun. The heroes have a rich back-story and the combat system is as simple, as it is satisfying. Many hours have passed with me looking at a tablet screen in excitement, and many more will pass in the future.- GRYOnline.pl

Elite: Dangerous deserves the highest praise for its potential. But you still have to look at a real product available today, and that's not as stellar. After a few months many of the problems will be forgotten, but right now Elite: Dangerous is a very young, a bit prematurely issued game full of imperfect features. And at the same time it shines and pulls you in with a unique type of experience.- GRYOnline.pl

Goblins vs Gnomes is a perfect add-on to Blizzard's card game. The players get 120 new cards that create tons of new possibilities when modifying or creating a new deck (and that affects the gameplay greatly). What's very important - GvG is free and right now Hearthstone could easily match World of Warcraft in terms of longevity, provided that Blizzard keeps releasing such great expansions.- GRYOnline.pl

Blackguards 2 is an improved and expanded version of the tactical fantasy cRPG from a year ago. After introducing many modifications, the battles are more dynamic but still challenging, and the player's frustration level is minimal. Repeating maps encourages trying out new tactics, and a really cool storyline is an additional motivation for playing.- GRYOnline.pl

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is proof that Volition's bag of tricks needs a dramatic overhaul or even an exchange for something completely different. And I mean both the technical, and gameplay side of things. The new Saints Row is still a perfectly playable, very enjoyable game but it emphasizes many weak points of this gangster saga (that slowly starts to eat its own tail).- GRYOnline.pl

The PC version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is a letdown. PCs are being treated unfairly this year and gets only some of the new stuff (and not everything works the way it should!). The game will run smoothly even on older laptops but I don't think this was the goal - besides the game itself is clearly worse than its competitors and the next-gen version. Of course, you can see the changes and have fun, but that's not enough.- GRYOnline.pl

Far Cry 4 is an excellent game. Smaller or bigger changes since the previous game create an image of a more dynamic and more expertly crafted product. We get great shooting mechanic, tons of weapons, decent AI and a cool co-op mode in the campaign. I wish snowy peaks were more prominent in the game and the storyline was as good as everything else. But if you put that aside, you get an almost perfect open world game.- GRYOnline.pl

After only a few hours of playing I knew everything I needed to write this review and I kept playing. GTA V is a master class of gaming, an explosion of ideas and details that will amaze everyone. You could have travelled across the entire game world and I'm sure, you haven't seen everything this game has to offer. Rockstar keeps surprising but right now does it in Full HD and with lots of cool new features.- GRYOnline.pl

LEGO Batman 3 recycles well known things and adds more characters and unlockables. Every year it seems that following this trend finally will stop bringing money, but every year it turns out that LEGO fans are strong and happy. The third LEGO Batman is a really decent game but the grade would be higher if only the developers would create a better story and a more interesting world with more novelties.- GRYOnline.pl

Assassin Creed: Rogue has not made me happy. It's not a bad game, far from it, but with a first story about a templar hunting assassins comes a responsibility to do something more. The developers have lost the chance to create something great. Mediocre story (with some fantastic moments), boring side-quests, forced lengthening of gameplay and lack of important novelties don't deserve any praise.- GRYOnline.pl

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 on the PS4 is definitely the best PES game in years, a well designed and surprising football simulation that is better in terms of AI, the feeling of the game and the technical side, than its predecessors. There are some minor flaws but they aren't as important as the fact, that Konami's new game is extremely enjoyable.- GRYOnline.pl

This War of Mine has some flaws, but all in all it's a great, strong game to remember. It pulls you in and generates lots of emotions just like the biggest and best games but it's not easy and pleasant: the gameplay immediately takes the player to the deep end without explaining the rules. The developers have managed to create a playable game without sacrificing a really difficult theme, and that's not an easy task.- GRYOnline.pl

Dragon Age: Inquisition is the best installment in the series and one of the best games in BioWare's history. There's a lot to praise: an interesting story, cool characters, big world, Skyhold. Sure, there are some minor issues and the combat system isn't perfect but the scale and attention to detail make all of that seem unimportant. An excellent game indeed.- GRYOnline.pl

Assassin's Creed: Unity, despite recycling some old gameplay mechanisms, is enchanting. The player feels like being thrown into the middle of Paris in XVIII century, and after a few missions shifts into this new, more realistic, style of gameplay. Assassin's Creed is more demanding (fights are much harder), more like a real stealth game and more visually exciting than anything with the Assassin's Creed logo. Unity is the best incarnation of the series.- GRYOnline.pl

Farming Simulator 15 has some improvements, lots of things remain unchanged, and some are even worse than before. Woodcutting and prettier graphics are welcome additions but a ton of simple programming mistakes and a comical driving model cast a shadow on all the good things. As usual - the game is uneven and many parts of the gameplay need to be fixed. Still, fans should be pleased.- GRYOnline.pl

Legend of Grimrock II is a game that is better than its predecessor in almost every way. The gamers get more difficult puzzles, an interesting open world and new challenges every step of the way. But remember, that Grimrock II isn't for everyone. It's most suited for fans of older games and Witcher or Dragon Age enthusiasts will probably suffer a little while playing. But even they should give this game a chance - it's worth it.- GRYOnline.pl
