Yes, it looks pretty nice at points, and yes, its (shamelessly borrowed) combat is executed very well. But the end result is that you're left wanting to consume the media it recalls, rather than feeling compelled to keep playing your way through the game.- Gaming Age

In fact, I'd say that if that pop idol simulation thing appeals to you, you're better off just grabbing Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection for the Vita, indulging your inner J-Pop mogul's every whim there, and forgetting this game even exists. Does that mean you should give Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 a chance if you've previously written off musou games? Probably not; it's different, but it's not that different. It's also, however, a very, very good musou game that was clearly made to be played on the Vita, which means that if you tried one of the previous handheld entries and weren't impressed, that's not a reason to write this one off, too.- Gaming Age

On the positive side, I did like the idea of a two-ball multiball prelude to open the table up with, where you help Iron Man construct the Ultron A.I. It’s also somewhat neat to see it built as an optional thing, even though I’m not sure I fully understand why you would want to skip it. Also, if you manage to get the four-ball multiball for the final event, it’s so chaotic that you can’t help but smile at the mess, even if getting to this point is more frustrating and boring than it’s worth.- Gaming Age

While Hardline certainly isn’t your standard Battlefield experience, the changes and tweaks present here are welcome additions, breathing new life into the franchise that’ll entice both veteran and new players alike.- Gaming Age

So let's add it up: a story that's virtually impossible to follow, grind-heavy gameplay that consistently leads nowhere, and frustrating combat. I'm not saying that it would've been better off in Fantasy Hero: Unsigned Legacy never got localized — more games are always welcome, no matter how bad they may be — but at the same time, I'm not not saying that either.- Gaming Age
