    I don’t think it’s a noticeable upgrade over last-gen though, and if you’ve already played or owned the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game, I don’t think this upgrade is a must buy. But if you missed out on the original release, and either enjoy the characters or fighting games, then you’ll find a lot to love about Injustice.

    I will be the first to admit that Madden NFL 25 is not a perfect football game, but the overall package and satisfaction you will receive from game to game is so overwhelmingly genuine that you will be willing to overlook its faults and realize that this is just about as good as it gets for virtual football.

    Overall, Knack provides early PS4 owners with a solid if unspectacular adventure and a decent dose of family friendly co-op gameplay. It's neither a system seller nor a must have launch title, but thanks to the challenging and enjoyable combat-oriented gameplay, it's also not the abomination that some reviewers have made it out to be. Give it a try.

    Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD is a fun ride and will take you some time to play through. It also looks good, especially for being a port of a Nintendo 3DS handheld title and will provide fans with more of the Belmont history than you could find on Ancestry.com.

    Really, though, the game's looks are secondary to its chief purpose — which, essentially, is to kill you repeatedly and then dare you to keep trying. I won't say that the game didn't defeat me, because it very clearly and obviously did, but I can guarantee that if you're looking for one of those absurdly hard games to fill your time until Dark Souls 2 comes out next year, this might be a good option.

    If you’ve got a group of three additional players to enjoy Wii Party U with, I definitely think it’s worth checking out. As a single-player game there’s not nearly enough to do that would warrant a purchase, and even as a two-player experience it falls a little short.

    Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag might fall a little short in comparison to something like Brotherhood, but it’s still a far better effort from Ubisoft than its direct predecessor. If you found yourself turned off of the series by Assassin’s Creed III, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well the developers have rebounded with Black Flag.

    If zombies and the apocalypse weren’t your thing despite all the praise heaped upon The Walking Dead, then I’d suggest giving The Wolf Among Us a shot. In both visuals and plot it’s a pretty far departure from Telltale’s previous effort, but manages to be just as engaging and interesting as anything found in The Walking Dead.

    While Scribblenauts Unmasked has all the elements of a Scribblenauts title, it doesn't have the same room for creativity — and that's probably what makes the whole thing feel a little off. Without room for imagination, all that's left is a game that tells you what to do.     Foul Play is a very stylized, quirky little title that could be good for a quick play session alone or with a friend. If you take away it's unique presentation, and little chunks of flare, you are left with an average beat 'em up with very little to offer.     Everyone who's anyone has already played PixelJunk Monsters, and now all those nobodies on PC, Mac, and Linux can enjoy it too, with its arrival on Steam. Not to mention they're getting the complete package considering all the DLC bundled in. PJMU seems to have had a buggy release but in my experience has stabilized beyond these growing pains into the game we all expected to arrive on its initial approach.

Add it all up, and you've got yourself a nice little time-waster.

    This is the best version of Diablo III you can currently buy. If you were burned by the PC version of the game, but still found the combat and classes offered to be a lot of fun, then this is certainly worth checking out. Despite wasting an incredible amount of time with the PC version, I can see my addiction starting up all over again here, and I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can take my character with this new and improved loot system.

    Ms. Germinator may be an improvement, but it's not that much of an improvement. Pick it up if you're new to the series, but otherwise, you might want to just keep on playing the first game, and hold off for the seemingly inevitable Super Germinator.
