    I will be the first to admit that Madden NFL 25 is not a perfect football game, but the overall package and satisfaction you will receive from game to game is so overwhelmingly genuine that you will be willing to overlook its faults and realize that this is just about as good as it gets for virtual football.

    That feature alone is not worth upgrading if you already have the game on 360 or PS3. Madden NFL 25 is a ton of fun on its own, but certainly not worth the double dip. If you held out this long, go ahead and grab it.

    The next-gen versions add more detail pretty much everywhere, but in the end it makes me have to fight for control of my players and worry about little things that aren’t that interesting.

    Madden 25 has some new aspects but also the same faults of the past, showing how the lack of competition is not good to Electronic Arts products.

    Pass protection that depicts an offensive line truly working together is a long-awaited improvement that series fans will love, and there are tangible dividends in learning the running game, provided you invest the time.

    Madden NFL 25 doesn't represent enough of a leap forward to make it either a technical showpiece for your new console, nor a more exciting football game than what EA already put out a few months ago.

    Best Gameplay of any Football game ever. Compared to madden 22 this game is amazing

Compared to the depth of the ps2 and original xbox maddens, heck even the ps3 and xbox 360 maddens, it is lacking although it still has decent features but I miss create a team a lot. In terms of gameplay, this game is the best madden game ever. It has the most realistic gameplay, the war in the trenches is great, and the presentation is light years ahead of madden 22.… Expand

Madden 25 on Xbox One is a great start on next-gen consoles and is an improvement on the 360 version.

    The line play is the biggest difference in my opinion. Running through holes created by your offensive lineman is an enjoyable experience as you can see them actually work hard. Previously, offensive/defensive lineman lacked tenacity and technique. Go into the instant replay mode on next-gen Madden and just watch the interaction...it is the real deal.

    I still feel interceptions need to happen more often. There are way too many dropped interceptions by the secondary in the game. However, I have not messed around with the sliders to tweak that part of the gameplay.

    Another great addition is seamless online play. I think this might have to do with a combination of better servers and 60 FPS. I have already played 10+ online games without any lag. I didn't have too many issues with the 360 version. However, there was always slight lag that would make it very difficult to kick full strength or make a tackle in the open field. This is now fixed and creates a great experience online.

    I purchased Madden 06 on Xbox 360 eight years ago and it was a disaster. I am really excited to see where this series goes because it is off to such a great start.    … Expand

But EA Sports Tiburon really did not give me a choice in the matter. Madden NFL 13 was so absolutely amazing to me because of all the work that they did and the changes they made. I loved 13 and played the crap out of it. However madden 25 or 14 i hate how they did that btw its basically just a rehash of last year with improved animations and a new game mode and I'm sorry but i feel like the animations could have just been a patch they weren't enough for me to be happy with my $60 dollar purchase. Also i own Madden NFL 14 for both my 360 and my one and to be honest the graphics don't look that much better at all and just upset tremendously by it. EA was so focused about making it ready for the next generation that they did a piss poor job improving last years game! and in my opinion it was a waste of an effort because i didn't see anything even redeeming in the graphics. Madden NFL 14 would be the worst sports game on the next generation if it wasn't for the fact the NBA Live 14 had to be such an embarrassment . Next year will be my 1 decade of buying madden consecutively and i am really hoping that they do something big for it because this year wasn't!… Expand

Also the players on the sidelines don't react to the game at all, and what the announcers say doesn't make sense half the time. Also they say the same things over and over.
