Forget the excruciating loading times and the grumpy framerate: Bloodborne is a wonderful game. Period. Every PS4 owner should go and buy it, no question asked. It requires an utter devotion to the cause, but it repays the player like no other game does. As they say, blood will out.

This is the Destiny the world deserves. The Taken King offers a lot of new content, but most of all it gives the players a complete (and much needed) revamp of the gameplay and the leveling system.

This is what SimCity should have been. Simply, the best city builder so far, with great support for modders and a lot of fun for all fans of the genre.

Project Cars is easy on the eyes, but most of all it's fun. It's a great racing sim, tough and challenging, capable of delivering a great motorsport experience.

This new installment of the FIFA series is excellent, and not just because it marks the debut of the female players. The gameplay feels even greater than last year's chapter, thanks to notable improvements to the AI. And the Draft Mode for FUT is simply top notch.

Escape Plan Bravo is by far the best episode in the Tales From the Borderlands series, and probably in all the Telltale production. A true emotional rollercoaster, filled with intense and bizarre moments. How the writers will untangle the plot, well, it remains to be seen.

So far, Superchargers is the best Skylanders we've ever played. Despite a relatively dull story and a multiplayer mode that needs some refinements, there is a ton of content that will keep you and your children busy for quite a long time, and the addition of the vehicles spices things up. A lot. Fortunately, it's also the first time that you'll be able to fully appreciate the game without having to double mortgage your house.

A dream for all the old-school RPG fans, despite some typical Obsidian bugs. If you can, wait for a couple of patches before jumping aboard.

The new Elite picks up where the original left and improves its gameplay in every possible way. A great space sim that manages to be deep and complex without becoming too intricate, with room for future improvements. Could be the right reason to plug an Oculus Rift in your PC.

The new expansion of the Blizzard MMORPG has a lot to offer: a great storyline, the new garrison and the boasted "back to the roots". If you're looking for a reason to return to Azeroth, well, you've found it.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 fans, rejoice! The game finally arrives on PS4, after being released on virtually any Sony platform. If you already played one of the previous versions, you won't find nothing new here but some technical improvements. But if that's not the case, go and grab a copy. Like, now.

We were skeptical, at first, considering the strong multiplayer component of the game, and the limited amount of content. But boy, we were wrong. Splatoon is a coloured, hectic, engaging, raving, well-balanced and incredibly fun shooter that every Wii U owner should have in his library.

The Chinese Room goes back to its roots of digital storytelling, in a slow-paced sci-fi story delightfully quiet and deep. Probably less original than Dear Esther, but a wonderful and amazing experience nonetheless.

Until Dawn is a great mixture of all the cliches of the YA thriller genre, beautifully wrapped in a Heavy Rain formula. Supermassive Games did excellent work on the narrative; graphics and soundtrack are top notch, and so is the Italian voice-over.

A "classic" Assassin's Creed in all the forms of this definition (good and bad) - technically solid, with a great story and a gorgeous background. The best AC seen so far, for sure.

The Phantom Pain is an excellent title, albeit a little bit inconsistent. The gameplay is simply extraordinary, almost perfect, deep and bound to pave the road for the future of the stealth genre; at the same time, the plot is very powerful, but could have definitely been bolder and braver. Well, it's pretty clear that something went AWOL during the development of the game.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is proof that it's possible to make a great graphic adventure, even in 2015. It's pretty difficult and requires more attention than your average puzzler, but you'll love the art direction, the story and the humour.

The best looking 2D game ever, there is no doubt. If you love metroidvania games, Ori and the Blind Forest is a master of the genre, despite some trial & error moments and a couple of bugs.

A real blast from the past. A wonderful remake of the first two titles of the Homeworld saga, with awesome new graphics and a revamped UI that improve an already excellent RTS. A true must-have, no questions asked.

Heavensward is a big expansion for A Realm Reborn, a title pretty huge in itself. The main storyline is really captivating, and so are the three new jobs. Some features require a little tweaking and some dungeons are plagued by the copy-paste syndrome, but overall Square Enix is definitely fighting on an even ground with World of Warcraft.

Everything reminds to the player the old Metroid episodes. Despite too much backtracking, Axiom Verge is a "one man band" production that no one should miss.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a great game, that is a fact. Its world is astonishingly huge, and it will keep everyone busy for months to come. The storytelling simply raises the bar for every other action RPG out there. Most of the flaws of the game are caused by its own ambition, and not everything can be fixed by a patch. Wonderful indeed, but not the masterpiece we were hoping for.

The multiplayer is worth the ticket price.

Tembo The Badass Elephant is really truthful to its name, thanks to a furious and exciting gameplay, perfectly tailored for all the fans of the platform genre. There's nothing really original here, but nonetheless Tembo is incredibly fun. Kudos to Game Freak.

N++ is the crowning moment of the technical platforms, where you almost blindly look after the high-score and climb the ladder of the global leaderboards. After ten years from its debut, this little gem offers complex but addictive gameplay, more than thousand levels, an engaging coop mode, and some nice social features.

A good sequel that manages to correct some of the issues of the first Blackguards. Despite some technical issues, Blackguards 2 is a must-have for fans of turn-based strategy games.

Despite the obsolete graphics and some old-fashioned gameplay mechanics, Telltale's first step into the Game of Thrones saga is a winner. Great storytelling, excellent characters, and a great use of the official license. A must have for every GoT fan.

God of War has finally found his 2D little brother. It's a fascinating title, with great art direction and a well-balanced gameplay.

We can't but confirm our good impression about Life is Strange: a great interactive novel, with a charming art direction, an awesome soundtrack, and a plot that's getting even more complicated.

Despite some technical problems and a couple of inexplicable design choices, State of Decay is a pretty solid open-world survival, with a great balance between RPG, action and management elements.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is another good reason to have a Wii U in your living room. The small world of clay created by Hal Laboratory is wonderful to explore and fun to play.

The Sword in the Darkness is the third and the best episode so far. Play it, enjoy it and wait for the new one.

Forget Dead Island, the most famous production from Techland. Dying Light is more "survival", and more "horror". It's not a perfect game, but it's pretty scary and challenging, especially if you love parkour.

God of War III has aged very well, mostly because of the great job done by Santa Monica Studios in the original game. A must-have if you have not played the PS3 version.

We could praise the gameplay, art direction, and soundtrack, one by one, but the truth is that they literally become one. They become Hotline Miami. It's not a perfect game (and it can be pretty difficult at times), but its style is so hypnotic and deep you won't forget it anytime soon.

Affordable Space Adventures is an indie title that offers a charming mix between stealth and puzzle, with an excellent use of the GamePad, but we have to be honest, and admit that the game really shines when played with your friends.

An episode that finally makes some bold moves on the chessboard of The Game of Thrones. The pieces are slowly coming together before the final two episodes, and the choices begin to have real meaning.

Played with friends or family, Mario Party always guarantees a good time. True, some mini games are better than others, and there are no great revolutions to be found, but throw in a couple of new game modes, and Mario Party 10 is the funniest title for your Wii U.

The worst you can do when talking about Satellite Reign is to measure its value with the original Syndicate. That said, 5 Lives created an intriguing and strong RTS, with some unique features and some great homages to the original by Bullfrog.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is a lovely step forward for the series. The Star Wars brand is obviously the most captivating element in the game, but there are a lot of nice and important improvements, all over the place.

Get To Work completes The Sims 4 experience and transforms the game into a great life simulation.

A pricey game when originally released on consoles, on PC it's a real steal. The main quest is pretty short, but the replay value is very high, and the game itself is a remarkable showcase for the FOX Engine.

Heroes of the Storm manages to make room for itself in the crowded MOBA genre, thanks to its original gameplay mechanics, an outright immediacy and its addicting nature. The microtransactions are a little pricey, but everything else deserves your undivided attention.

Dontnod manages to create a new, fascinating and compelling world. A true chrysalis, that can hopefully rise and become a beautiful butterfly.

Despite the notable absence of the first Borderlands in this collection, the sheer amount of content and fun of The Handsome Collection is bound to make everyone happy. If you've never been a Vault Hunter, now's the time to jump on board.

The new decks bring even more chaos into the game, which is always a good thing. The expansion gives you the opportunity to experiment on brand new strategies, and to play like you never did before.

A game that gives further meaning to the expression "Nintendo difference". Extremely varied gameplay, with clever puzzles and very colorful art direction. The only complaint is the troublesome camera.

Climax Studios has done well: Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is a fresh and enjoyable experience, both for fans and newcomers of the Creed.

Chaos Theory continues the plot of Life is Strange in a fresh and unique way. A must have, with a thrilling ending.

Lara Croft Go is a nice surprise: the turn-based gameplay works well even for an hardcore adventurer like Lara, and the puzzles are really good. The learning curve is excellent, and there are no dull moments. The in-app purchases are not annoying, which is definitely a plus.

Neocore Games has mixed two different genres in an unique tower defense. Despite some balance issues, Deathtrap is a fun game, able to keep the player engaged for several hours.

A much plumper DLC than Escape from Durgesh Prison, Valley of the Yetis offers a new location and some fresh ideas like the night assaults. A must-have, at least if you loved the original Far Cry 4.

Volume may be less original if compared to Thomas Was Alone, but it's equally sophisticated in the selection of gameplay elements, built on the stealth genre with a lot of style.

A well-done and solid title, a simple yet intriguing metroidvania. There's a little bit of backtracking and the game is pretty short, but the replayability is good and the price is definitely right.

At the end of the day, Super Stardust Ultra is a more polished edition of the PS3 version, therefore we hardly recommend it if you already played it. If you didn't, though, this is an excellent twin-stick shooter that should not be missed.

This strategy title from Koei Tecmo brings us in the Sengoku era, and offers endless gameplay possibilities. It's a fact, anyway, that such a game is most likely to be appreciated by people who love Japan and that particular era.

The second installment of Cyanide's Blood Bowl may be more stingy in terms of races and general offer when compared to the latest edition of the first chapter, but is still excellent in summarizing the rules of the original Games Works board game, proposing them with much more clarity.

Mad Max and the Wastelands would have deserved a bolder characterization. Nonetheless, this is a good open world title, beautiful to see and fun to play. The gameplay draws from different genres, and despite the fact that it doesn't offer anything truly original, the overall result is a solid and fun experience.

Welcome to survival horror. This new edition of an all-time classic has a lot of flaws, and some gameplay elements show their age, but its inherent value is fathomless.

One of the funniest and craziest DLCs ever. The new powers and weapons are exhilarating, and there's a lot to do, even after the end of the main storyline. If you enjoyed Saints Row IV, this is simply a must-have.

Based on the popular gamebook, it's a good porting of an iOS title, penned by Joe Dever himself. A deep and fascinating experience, with a great replay value.

Unexpectedly, this fifth episode of Telltale's Game of Thrones is a little bit more action-oriented, but the choices you'll make are bound to play a major role in the upcoming season finale. A pretty decent appetizer for the anticipated conclusion of this episodic adventure.

Boxboy! is an addictive videogame, flavored with original and interesting puzzle moments. It's quite short, but the low price is really inviting.

A typical in-between episode, with the usual dramatic atmosphere. No dragons yet, unfortunately, but somehow we'll deal with it.

Do not expect nothing more than the usual, consolidated formula of Mini-land Mayhem!, that will possibly offer so much more in the future. This spiritual successor is really fun and engaging, but it's high time Nintendo came up with some new ideas.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a robust title, despite its low-budget production. The gameplay is somehow simpler, closer to the old chapters of the saga, and yet still captivating.

The new offering from Digital Eclipse is a nice really collection. It will probably be more appreciated by older and nostalgic gamers, but we must recommend it to the younger ones as well, because it represents an important piece of videogame history.

The Assignment is a good DLC, with more survival-oriented gameplay and tailored to the fans of the original The Evil Within. It may come a little short, considering that it will take less than three hours to complete it.

This new venture into the terrifying world of The Evil Within is a pretty scary ride. The story leaves us with a lot of unsolved questions, and the gameplay stresses the survival component of the game. Overall, a nice addition that fans of Mikami will surely enjoy.

It's hard to bash Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition: despite the porting being nothing more than a well executed homework, there is some new content that will definitely please the most loyal fans of Dante & C., i.e. three new characters and a new, extremely challenging difficulty level.

Evolve is a good game or a bad game, depending on what you are searching for. There's a lot of potential, partially unexpressed because of the necessity of playing with friends (avoid the strangers!) and the absence of loot and crafting. Give it more than a chance, especially if you have previously played L4D.

Like its little brother Yoshi's New Island on 3DS, Yoshi's Woolly World suffers from being a little too short, easy and somehow forgettable. That being said, this game could easily win the hearts of every Nintendo fan with its above-average level design, the great artistic direction, and its exhilarating cuteness.

OlliOlli 2 is a good old "more of the same", with slight graphical improvements, new tricks and grinds. The resulting gameplay is always fun and more varied, but at the same time much more difficult than the original.

Halo: Spartan Strike is nothing more than a filler in the main saga, but once you acknowledge that, you'll find a pretty good twin-stick shooter, with a good setting and solid gameplay. The multiplayer would have earned it a higher score.

If we had just one word to describe the new Mortal Kombat, that would be "excessive". The violence is always over the top (sometimes even a little bit too much so), and the various game modes and unlockables will keep you busy for quite a long time. A must-have for all the kombatants out there.

Not the best remastered edition of all time, but a fun and satisfying game nonetheless. The DLCs extend the longevity of an already huge (and highly insane) game. Despite the low price, it's not recommended if you already played it on PS3.

DoA 5 Last Round is the right game at the right time, considering how much fans of the genre have been waiting for a good beat-em up on their new console. The reasonably low price and the great amount of content definitely help.
