Spirit Tracks is the weakest title in the series. It isn't a bad game, but it symbolizes a need to retire Link before his career is tarnished.

At the end of the day, Grubbins on Ice is three more hours of everything that made Costume Quest fun.

As a core game, Revelations proves that the 3DS can not only display amazing console quality graphics, but control just fine as a handheld; with or without the optional circle pad add-on. Revelations comes up short in many respects, but ultimately it may be enough to scratch that Resident itch until Raccoon City and RE6 hit later this year.

Lair of the Leviathan is extremely short and not quite up to par in terms of difficulty, but its a generally solid continuation to the episodic series.

While Dragon Age II doesn't quite measure up to it's predecessor, the streamlined approach was a solid effort - if Bioware can somehow marry the best parts of Origins and Dragon Age II, it will produce one of the best RPGs the world has ever seen.

King's Bounty: The Armored Princess is a great game if you fall into its target demographic. Those looking for something more than a single-player strategy/RPG hybrid should look elsewhere.

Stick it to the Man is a really weird game, and that’s part of the reason why I enjoyed it for what it was. It’s like watching a particularly dark episode of Duckman or Rocko’s Modern Life, and while it may not be as classic as the subject material, it’s still definitely worthy of the same conversation. I kind of just wished it knew what it really wanted to be.

The game looks great, the battles play great, but the amount of handholding and overly intrusive, repetitive dialogue turn the game into a chore when it should’ve been as refreshing as a good night’s sleep.

For those that have the means and already enjoy the campy humor of Borderlands, Zombie Island of Dr. Ned may be just what you’re looking for. For those who are trying to stretch their gaming dollar, this is a tougher recommendation to make.

Problems notwithstanding, if you're a shmup fan who is waiting for the next big Treasure or Cave release, or just looking to blast some aliens, for $1.99, you could certainly do a lot worse.

While Metroid: Other M is infused with a dose of style and flare the series has been lacking, the horrible control scheme and overly emotional story ruins the whole experience, making the game extremely aggravating to play.

Scribblenauts' amazing amount of content is only let down by the techology that powers it.

Tekken has never been a series for everyone. But for those with a penchant for challenging fighters, as well as a decent TV and online setup, Tekken 6 has the potential to become your ideal multiplayer game.

All in all Age of Zombies is a fun little throwback to the simpler days of Smash TV. Older gamers may be off put by the rather juvenile humor, but the almost hypnotic gameplay make up for it.

Ace Attorney Investigations is a mystery novel with no suspense. It's indicative of an identity crisis, wherein the series started out as a murder mystery, but now caters to fans who had more fun with the inane drama.

Doom II is just a nostalgia fix. As charming as the experience can be, it’s just very dated.

Plain Sight is a simple, fun multiplayer game that suffers from a low population base and shoddy maneuverability, but makes up for it with a cheap price tag. It isn't for everyone, but if you love ninjas and robots - with a sprig of Godzilla - you will have a good time.

Contra ReBirth is an insultingly basic installment to a popular action series.

All in all, Desperate Escape is a pretty fun experience, but brings nothing new to the table. Gamers who were turned off by Resident Evil 5’s excessive use of force won’t find anything to sway them here, but action fans will love it all the same.

If you can recruit a legion of 256 like minded players then MAG would be an experience like no other, but its potential is sadly lost as, at this primal and critical stage, it still needs time to fully flourish.

After Grand Theft Auto’s Episodes from Liberty City set the benchmark for what is possible with episodic DLC, it’s hard not to be a bit disappointed with The Taxidermist’s shortcomings – it’s more of a light drizzle than heavy rain.

A few hours of Gyromancer and the novelty will wear off, and you will be left bereft, wishing you were playing the original RPG puzzler, not this knock-off with prettier pictures.

The Forgotten Sands does such a good job of returning to its "Sands of Time roots" that it actually feels like you're playing a seven year old PS2 title: and that isn't really a good thing. The game simply refuses to evolve and become something greater than its predecessors.

Even if you've never played the card game before, then this is your best bet at an introduction. If your a prior enthusiast; you will love this game.

Shank is shallow, repetitive, and short. Enough said.

Batman: Arkham Origins could have been so much more. I’m not sure if a rushed development cycle, a new developer, or shoehorned multiplayer is to blame (maybe a combination of all three), but unfortunately, Origins falls short of the high bars the previous games have created.

Gran Turismo is fun to take out for a test drive, but for the long haul it lacks the depth that players have come to expect.

Zeno Clash is an ambitious title that ultimately fails due to an underdeveloped story and weak combat mechanics.

Comic Jumper fails to overshadow poor, repetitive gameplay with its humor and art style.

Ion Assault is an enjoyable game, but it's way too short to warrant the $10 price tag.

The sad thing is, there's nothing wrong with Blimp: The Flying Adventures. There are better PSN titles out there for the price. Do yourself a favour and pick it up on the iPhone for a dollar.

Skyrim: Dawnguard will not blow your mind, but it's a decent addition to the Skyrim franchise, so long as you're willing to buy into the vampiric premise. There's a number of lore-rich encounters that long time TES fans will love, and a number of extras that help pad the package.

I'm thankful to this game, because it intrigued me enough to check out the excellent movie and the even more excellent graphic novels. It opened my eyes to the works of artist Paul Robertson and the band Anamanaguchi. It's just a damn shame that the game is nothing special.

Although quite charming at times, The Last Resort is a disappointing entry to a promising series.

Ultimately, Modern Warfare: Mobilized lacks personality and polish. Hardcore Call of Duty portable gamers are better off buying last year's World at War DS.

A satisfying, if expensive, trip down memory lane that relives a time when Guitar Hero was in its’ infancy at its’ absolute pinnacle.

Epic Mickey could have been a much better game than it ended up. If you're a Disney fan, I'd highly recommend picking it up: if not, you can pass this one up without too much fret.

The finale of Telltale's episodic Wallace and Gromit content is a mixed bag, with some elements seeing an improvement and others taking a step backwards.

Mirror of Fate is basically a 2D God of War, so if you dig platformers with decent combat mechanics, you’ll most likely enjoy it.

If you can look past the sometimes game-killing bugs, there is a good puzzler here. For the rest it is sadly not worth the effort.

Resonance of Fate is ambitious and has an exciting combat system, but you’ll need to immerse yourself in the game for a long time to master the steep learning and difficulty curves.

A big improvement on the last episode, Muzzled! is a worthwhile purchase for both adventure aficionados and fans of the cheese-loving duo.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games brings with it a good amount of events, most of which are done better in other games. This is one of the many Wii titles where enjoyment depends entirely on how it will be played in the household.

It doesn't push the envelope aside from experimenting with gameplay but if you like this type of game you'll probably enjoy yourself as long as you speed through the story.

While Sir Hammerlock may simply be "more Borderlands 2," it could have been a whole lot more, and feels a tad unfinished.

The gameplay will really make you ponder your next set of moves, but it is very challenging and probably only appeal to the most fervent of strategy fans.

Although hardcore professional players may scoff at the general lack of skill in public games, most of you will enjoy the experience, and the fact that the developers were able to actually create a solid MOBA experience on a console should be commended.

4 Heroes of Light is a JRPG fix. It looks alright and it plays alright and the baggage it carries is something you can either get past or despise depending on your attitude towards JRPGs.

This short lived DLC, while fun, is just not enough to warrant a purchase for those looking to play it standalone. However, if you will be playing this DLC during a playthrough of the game itself, it may be worth it.

The 3rd Birthday is a fun and reasonably well-made game that, unfortunately, attempts to do too many things to do any of them terribly well.

Crackdown 2 is Crackdown with 4 player co-op, a dull new color palette, and a glide suit that doesn't glide very well.

There is fun to be had in EyePet and the motion technology is admirable, but, as with the majority of PlayStation Eye games, it is little more than a short lasting sugary novelty.

At the end of the day, Alice: MR has a lot of good ideas from a lot of other good games, but never really executes them as well as the originals did. Unless you're a hardcore fan of the original, or a dedicated platforming junkie, you'll want to skip this return to wonderland.

Ultimately, while Dead Money is a pretty fun affair, it doesn't really have the "wow" factor a few of the DLC packs did in Fallout 3. While the three hours it took to complete is on the longer side for downloadable content, I'm not really sure Dead Money is worth the full $10 asking price.

It's a shaky start to Team 17's episodic content. There is an ample offering of explosions and aliens, but the fun starts to fade long before the credits roll.

In a genre filled with dull, uninspired shooters, Section 8 sits atop of the pile of mediocrity.

If you purchase this game, be ready to invest some time and patience into it.

Wet's desire to be watched more than played keeps it from being anything more than a mediocre third person shooter.

Actually sitting down for a multiplayer match, however, is an exercise in boredom.

Serious Sam HD is a barebones remake of a nine-year-old game that needed to be tightened up to compete with the high-quality shooters available today.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 is a bare bones dungeon crawler with little appeal beyond the Phantasy Star fandom.

Unless you're a die-hard shooter fan, it's really hard to recommend picking up Madballs in Babo: Invasion. While the game controls like a dream, it just isn't much fun to play.

Unless you're looking to get more mileage out of the "end" of the Mass Effect franchise (for now), I wouldn't recommend picking up Infiltrator for its current price. Although it offers a decent amount of shooting action, it's fairly generic, and doesn't really do anything other than offer a nice time waster for an afternoon.

Brink shoots for the stars, but unfortunately comes up pretty short, mostly because of design issues.

G-Force is a jet pack enthusiasts dream and a solid action game that's worth a rental. Just don't expect much to do after completion.

Switchball is a relaxing change of pace that provides something a little different on the PS3. While Switchball cannot be recommended as an essential purchase, it is most certainly worth the purchase price.

Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment isn't bad, but it's far from good, as well. An underwhelming comeback for an underwhelming RPG series.

Treasure World takes a grand concept and turns it into a reality, despite the fact that it's not really so much a game as it is an activity.

Aliens vs. Predator is a game that looks like a triple-A title, but plays like it belongs in the bargin bin.

Deadlight, on the other hand, has an entire one third of the game that feels like it could have been utterly discarded. What's even more jarring is that the third act can also invoke that same feeling of redundancy. The game starts off as a bang, then descends into this fairly uninteresting second act, before presenting a largely uninteresting on the nose finale.

All in all, Operation: Anchorage provides an entertaining experience, but does not nearly live up to the “4-6 hours” of gameplay that was promised.

Nier's jack-of-all-trades approach simply doesn't succeed, making for a strikingly uneven experience. You'll want to love this game for its story and music, but you'll struggle to stomach everything else.
