Despite its fairly short length, it’s a significant improvement upon Fright of the Bumblebees, mostly because of its more believable storyline and, once again, the typical Wallace and Gromit humour displayed throughout.
-
It doesn't last long, at about three to four hours, but it concentrates on quality and humor. Just don't dare go on a vacation with these two.

X-ONE Magazine UKThe dialogue's nicely quaint. [Issue#54, p.104]
-
Wallace and Gromit’s second adventure is a success in my book. It was a short book though, only taking a few hours to complete…which is ok because it only makes the player want to check out the other episodes.
-
At $10 a piece these episodes are just long enough and entertaining enough to keep digging through them.
-
The Last Resort is a fun game and worth the price of admission for gamers who are Wallace and Gromit fans. The visual style of the show and the overall humor are the high points here, but we were disappointed that the action never really moved beyond a few rooms in Wallace's house and seemed to bounce back and forth among a cast of characters who are nowhere near as compelling as the inventor and his dog.
-
Although quite charming at times, The Last Resort is a disappointing entry to a promising series.
