Throughout each stage, random trash items will be delivered via crane to players who can then manipulate the speed and direction they fall using the DualShock 3 controller. The trash can will quickly reach full capacity unless the trash is broken down or dealt with by strategically using various elements given throughout each stage. Items will continue to be dropped until the player successfully compacts a certain number of items or ends up with an overflowing trash can. Each level will also feature a giant Boss item that players need to destroy in a certain amount of time to avoid getting penalized. At the end of each stage, each player will be rated by how eco-friendly or ego-friendly each stage was completed. The more eco-friendly, the higher the rating. Ratings help in unlocking various levels and modes. Spread across three different game modes, Trash Panic offers fun gaming for everyone. The Main Mode will take players progressively through six stages that increase in difficulty the further you advance. Vs. Mode allows two players to battle one another on the same screen. And lastly, Mission Mode offers mini-games for those who want to further their fun with a variety of waste management missions. Trash Panic also offers ways for players to show off their skills with trophy support and online learderboards.     It reinforces just how fresh Trash Panic is compared to the timeless (if a bit long in the tooth) nature of the world's favorite puzzle games.

    This is one of those puzzle games you'll play solid for three or four days, rashly declare as being the "Best Puzzle Game Ever" (your friends, wisely, will say that you should wait for a few weeks), but then leave to fester on your PS3's hard drive for some months before you can be bothered to visit it again.     Trash Panic looks fun at first glance, but is mostly repetitive and annoyingly hard. The environmental angle is appreciated, but cannot alone save the game. There are several brain challenges and other games in the PlayStation Store that give you more game for the buck than Trash Panic.

    Trash Panic is a great pick up for 5 bucks but it not a great game long loading times and it's super hard

    Trash Panic's concept is new and fresh. Squashing and breaking trash to make it fit into a certain amount of space is fun, no doubt Trash Panic's concept is new and fresh. Squashing and breaking trash to make it fit into a certain amount of space is fun, no doubt about that. However, the trash is heavily influenced by cruel collision detection and downright broken physics. Trash hangs mid-air, metal suddenly inherits rubber-like physics and even a thin shell of debris will prevent you from smashing whatever is beneath it. On top of it all, the game lacks a tutorial to get yourself familiarized with the how-tos of the game. The music is like turning on the radio in the sense that the music ranges from decent to downright being annoying and lousy.… Expand
