    Facing non-stop attacks for virtually the entire length of the chapter, players will not be able to breathe easy until the credits roll. Providing truly intense action, Desperate Escape is absolutely worth the price of admission alone, while the additional 100 achievement points and two characters for Mercenaries Reunion are merely the icing on the cake.

It's comparable in length to the last addition, clocking in at around an hour to complete on your first run through, and you'll get a few replays out of it. If you're looking for one more sample of Resident Evil 5, this is one escape you should definitely take.

It takes place after Jill is rescued from mind control by Chris Redfield. Unlike "Lost in Nightmares", this brief chapter emphasizes fast-paced action. You must get from Point A to Point Z while defending yourself from an onslaught of attackers. If you liked the shooting aspect of the base game than you'll like this. "Desperate Escape" is quite challenging since the enemies are relentless. The DLC also includes extra characters for the Mercenaries mode. Overall, I would rate this with a 7.6 out of 10.… Expand
