It might have a cliffhanger ending, poorly developed party and multiple crashes in its MacOs/Linux version, but it is hard to argue that this is the best “bad guy” RPG we have ever seen. Shadow of Mordor expands the lore of the Lord of the Rings books in a respectful and great way and the Nemesis system is something that many developers should copy. There are some problems here, but the truth is that this is one of the best "Lord of the Rings" games ever made.- GameOver.gr

The level design in F.I.S.T. belongs to these excellent metroidvania games where there is just pure joy in exploration. The developer has great knowledge on what makes the genre tick, but at the same time they seem to be a bit “shy” when it comes to any form of innovative idea that would truly make them excel. Nevertheless, this is a must for fans of metroidvanias.- GameOver.gr

Deathloop is another hit from the talented Arkane Studios, albeit with some noticeable shortcomings. It’s especially peculiar that the A.I. is -simply put- bad, considering that Prey and especially Dishonored 2 where some of the highest quality games in this aspect. It is the MediEvil you remember (and probably love) from 1998, albeit with updated visuals and sound, a new camera system and a superb art direction. Some problems from the past -like the sometimes awkward camera- have somehow managed to find their way into this release as well, but the same can be said for the charming and unique gameplay and aesthetic that oozes from this game.- GameOver.gr

Kaze and the Wild Masks is 10% a nostalgic trip to platformers of the 16-bit era and 90% an ode to Donkey Kong Country from the SNES. The Enhanced version of The Wizards is an absolute joy to play. Nier has some of the shortcomings of the previous Nier game like lazy open world design and side quests without a meaning. But the collaboration with PlatinumGames sends the fighting experience sky-high and overall the story and some characters are not forgettable at all. On the contrary, a rich battle system, some really inspired RPG features and secret endings which prolong the game to 40 hours give Nier the little push it needed to leave the mediocre league and set sails for the glorious ball rooms of the industry- GameOver.gr

Unfortunately, the open world segments, one of the biggest additions in Exodus, have the constant feel of fillers, devoid of any noteworthy substance. It is an aspect of the game that could benefit of significant overhaul or scrapped altogether in a potential (and very welcome) sequel. On the other hand, the shooting is extremely satisfying and the more linear levels that come from the main missions bring the high-quality design, variety and claustrophobic feeling that fans of the series come to expect. All in all it is a Metro experience albeit with some… fat that could be trimmed.- GameOver.gr

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a wondrous, youthful, naive and hopeful new story in the Mass Effect universe, filled with ideas, stories and lore to kickstart a new series. There is no doubt that Splatoon 3 sets out on a path that has already been paved by its predecessors, leading straight to success. The game manages to provide the same sense of colorful action and enjoyment in a more refined way compared to the previous titles, though it lacks the spirit and the features that would name it as a true sequel. Until all the new features that have been promised by Nintendo become available, Splatoon 3 will remain a game that we enjoy, yet we do not truly need.- GameOver.gr

Vermintide 2 steps on the known Left 4 Dead gameplay tropes and pushes the genre some significant steps further. The newest chapter of the Mafia series takes us back to Sicily in 1900, a move that proves to be its strongest point. The design is excellent and feels utterly authentic to the era, from costumes to cars. The Old Country is slow-paced, but this works in its favour thanks to strong, well-written characters and an engaging, if clichéd, story that holds attention from start to finish. The new Hyrule Warriors offers a great combat system and excellent visual design, alongside a large variety of missions. Fans of the first game will find plenty of content to reimmerse themselves in Hyrule, though they may be left a bit disappointed by the lackluster storyline.- GameOver.gr

It may be bold, but the “Sanitarium in Space” concept works. And it works quite well.- GameOver.gr

With a breathtaking atmosphere, an interesting story and a gritty realism applied to the late Medieval period, Asobo Studios offers a strong and memorable experience that overcomes its somewhat repetitive & by-the-numbers gameplay.- GameOver.gr

Anglerfish excels in its dark aesthetic and humour, delivering a challenging yet fair experience. While it may be a bit on the short side, the game offers a memorable and twisted roguelike adventure within those few hours.- GameOver.gr

A roguelike game with tower defense characteristics that is possible to keep you entertained and on the edge for many hours before you manage to succeed in all the 12 floors/dungeons. Consider the beautiful pixel art esthetic a significant bonus to the whole experience.- GameOver.gr

It's surely a testament of how Nintendo can take a simple concept and turn it into a robust experience. It may lack the challenge other Nintendo games have, but offers some truly relaxing moments in a wonderfully designed world...if you can handle the cuteness.- GameOver.gr

Older gamers will have a reason to revisit Luigi's Mansion 2, thanks to a greater variety of ghosts and added locations. Nevertheless, it could benefit from a higher level of challenge and less backtracking.- GameOver.gr

Although Sony made clear their plans to not go through with a sequel, at least Days Gone can stand on its own as a complete story. PC users will have the chance to see first-hand a decent open-world game, with emphasis on characters, on the beautiful forest areas of Oregon.- GameOver.gr

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is not a new game. It’s not even a new re-release or a new remaster. It is, however, a fantastic addition to the Nintendo Switch library, one that can provide players with an experience that rivals even the most current RPGs. Old players and new are to be treated with a wonderful port and an even greater experience, despite minor problems due to the nature of the console and some others that should have been fixed years ago.- GameOver.gr
