A little more attractive to newcomers, MLB The Show 19 is an immersive simulation that shines with a dazzling atmosphere, a great gameplay ans some good content. But if you have been playing the former iteration, you'll probably think it's more of the same.

A very good port. If you don't have a PC and want to discover Civilization VI, head straight to this Switch version. The game is nearly identical, except it doesn't include the Rise and Fall extension nor the multiplayer mode. For the rest, it is the same game, the same pleasure that you can carry wherever you want. You will just have to be patient at the end of a game, because each turn will last quite a long time.

Rockstar reclaimed Max Payne in their own way, without changing its core: it's a shooter, and its main protagonist is as dark as ever. The real surprise comes from the multiplayer, one of the best third-person multiplayers we've played.

Resident Evil 7 is a true Survival-Horror and a true Resident Evil game. The series evolves a lot here, but it does it with a lot of respect for its DNA. This seventh episode is perhaps the true "Rebirth" of the series.

If it doesn't have any competitors, it's because they wouldn't be a match: NHL 12 keeps honoring the tradition of quality of the franchise and ends up, this year again, being one of the best sports simulations ever. With a sharp gameplay, nice visuals, optimized collision engine, NHL 12 will fill up the needs of frictions-on-ice lovers.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will not be as memorable as the first reboot because it's doing quite the same things without taking risks, but it's still a really great game.

PUBG is a like an adrenaline shot. It is surely one of the best multiplayer experiences in recent years. With its simple and highly effective principle, it has been the best Battle Royale game and one of the most fun games of 2017. And will probably be so in 2018 as well.

Rocksmith 2014 is a pretty good tool to learn how to play guitar and bass. The game features all the basics to understand the instrument and lead the guitarist to his first riff, all that with a tracklist full of classics and modern songs and a much better interface than in the first Rocksmith game.

Importing the physics and graphics engines from the Forza series to an open-world arcade game was a great idea, even at the first attempt on Xbox 360, but Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One does even better, refining everything, and it's actually the best open-world racing game on consoles so far.

FIFA 14 is undoubtedly the best football game to date, even though it does not innovate as much as its predecessor.

Beat Saber is, to put it simple, one of the best VR games we have ever tried so far, and one of the coolest and most rewarding music games ever. The soundtrack is overall very good, but unfortunately a little bit limited for a game of its kind, and we could also regret the absence of an online VS mode, but no good reasons shall turn you away from this fantastic rhythm game, which is an instant classic for virtual reality.

If you are addicted to Enemy Unknown, then we can only advise you to upgrade it with Enemy Within. This DLC fixes all the problems of the first game and enriches tactics and management.

A good version of the first game. Smooth and tearingless, this episode keeps on being an excellent beat them all that, despite some minor flaws, can be considered as a fantastic way to discover this insane and stunning IP from PlatinumGames.

The exotic holidays of Luigi's Mansion 3 look like a phantasmagorical comedy, each floor from this hotel presenting a play of its own which revisits the classic horror movies themes, thanks to Next Level Games' fantastic imagination through mischievous stagecraft, wonderful riddles and stunning ectoplasmic battles. Beyond the already reinforced ghost hunter gear, such elements are combined marvelously, if not even better in duo, since the slimy characteristics of Gooigi both fluidify and enrich the whole experience. A team spirit encouraged by the terrific multi player modes, in particular the more stupendously trapped ScareScraper, bound to haunt the long hallowed eves slamming with friends endlessly.

Harmonix keeps pushing forward and refining its concept with this third episode. More content, more fun, more polish, really enjoyable multiplayer modes, it's all in there for cool evenings with friends and solo fun, even though the formula remains the same.

With Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn, Yoshida and his team have won their bet, and offer a radically different game than Final Fantasy XIV Online. The game has some very interesting systems, starting with the evolution of your characters and Jobs. Moreover, it is a very accessible game that you can enjoy easily and quickly. A great alternative to games like World of Warcraft, with a Japanese feel that should delight the fans of the series. This time Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn deserves to be successful. As for this PS4 version, it simply delivers what we already saw on PC, with two new cool options: remote play on PS Vita and Share functionality.

Luigi's Mansion 2 doesn't just bring back to life the original, it transcends it. Deeper gameplay, smart puzzles, and a parody-filled tone meet a carefully structured mission-based progression that make it perfect for nomad play, while its multiplayer offers yet another take on ghost cleaning.

Even though we weren't expecting this DJ Hero 2 to make new waves in the music games genre, we'd hoped it would fix some of the flaws of the original. But it isn't. In the end, this new title can be summed up to a new musical selection with but a few minor additions, some of those being dispensable (freestyle and singing). A title that will still appeal to the rich fans of the original, if only for its new tracklist, but still smells like laziness.

The post-Elden Ring era was going to be difficult, that much was certain. FromSoftware's work on Armored Core 6 is bound to be compared to that of GOTY 2021, and unfortunately it pales into insignificance. At no point do you get a sense of the studio's maturity or expertise. Armored Core 6 could have been anyone's game. A messy title, not very pretty and very repetitive. A game with an archaic, old-fashioned structure that leaves no room for immersion and doesn't even seem to want to draw the player into its world. Fortunately, the gameplay is fun, the sensations are pretty good and some sequences stand out from the crowd. Not to mention the incredible customisation of our mechas, which is sure to delight fans and the big kids in all of us. But does that really justify throwing yourself into the game? I'm not sure. =

I have a weird love-hate relationship with Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. At times, it's nostalgic, it's nicely written story and its unique design just blows me away, but at other times, I simply hate its poorly designed interfaced, its lack of innovation and the simple fact that it never dares to try anything new. When it does something, it does it perfectly, but it simply doesn't feel like enough in 2017. It plays it way too safely for its own good.

With the help of this third DLC, Destiny is finally the game we were waiting for since the initial launch.

Heroes of the Storm is probably what many MOBA players dislike: a real teamplay game, with a more accessible gameplay and an upheaval of known codes of the genre, which is ten years old today. That does not make it a bad game, far from it. It happens to give the players new reasons to play a MOBA, and it shows us that real team play is possible in a MOBA, even for 5 people who do not know each others. Try it!

Returnal is the first big original PS5 exclusive, a fantastic game and a quite intense adventure. It looks great, plays wonderfully, tells a captivating story and is definitely an amazing AAA Rogue-like that PS5 owners will be delighted to play again and again.

When DICE buffs up the formidable war machine that is Battlefield Bad Company 2, their star multiplayer franchise, they use every last bit of cultural and movie folklore surrounding this cruel and well-covered conflict. Polished to the extreme, Vietnam enhances all the more the fun it gives us, and those typical moments of bravery.

Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is a fantastic fighting game that every fan of the genre should play.

Forza Motorsport 7 is a very, very good racing game, providing absolutely brilliant driving sensations and superb graphics, but it still suffers some issues and a certain lack of originality and new ideas.

Sports Interactive went further into realism by implementing novelties in particular in the training and the matches with the appearance of VAR for example. In the end, FM 2019 is the perfect representation of German football, which it obtained the license: efficient, solid, and never disappointing.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a new masterpiece from CD Projekt RED, a huge, dense, vibrant, colorfoul and dark Sci-Fi RPG that any fan of the genre should step in. First because it will provide the sensation that the story really depends on you choices and that you have everything you need for your playstyle. Then because streets, stores, buildings, inhabitants of Night City won't get out of your head easily. You'll be happy to interact with Keanu Reeves, but the real star is this city and all it provides in terms of atmosphere, game mechanics and stories.

From a technical and ergonomical point of view, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is overshadowed the Wii version, yet it preserves this monumental RPG into the darkness of our pockets.

Consider 3 retrogaming lovers (Pix'n Love Editions, PastaGames developers, and Bulky Pix publishers), cook them in the same pot, and the resulting delicacy will be Pix'n Love Rush on the iPhone. A true homage to oldschool platformers, the game has simple and diabolically precise controls. Heavily reliant on a carefully crafted level-design, its 2 modes (collect the bonuses, dodge the maluses in the first one, and a crazy time attack) may drive some players mad before they get to improve their skills, but its fun lies there. A pure game of scoring - still one of the best past-times ever invented.

This new version of The Legend of Zedla: Twilight Princess offers superb textures and some nice additions including the use of amiibo and direct access the Hero mode. If you missed this poetic adventure, you have to play it right now on this HD version.

F1 2021 is a very good vintage. While remaining in technical and graphic excellence, the game adds an extra layer of links with real F1 and a bit of emotion with the Breaking Point mode. It is still very much into online gaming and even more so with career co-op. There is also a lot to do in all areas (management, development, tuning, driving), depending on the level of complexity that you have adapted to your tastes. A must have for any Formula One fan.

Cadence of Hyrule is a strong and inspired crossover between The Legend of Zelda and Crypt of the NecroDancer. By mixing the beloved world of Hyrule with the rhythm-based strategy of Brace Yourself's game, the studio delivers a colorful but brief adventure, served by a pleasant and varied soundtrack all along.

One great game which will allow you to experience 10 years of hunting virtual monsters on portable devices. From the first PSP game to the very last Nintendo 3DS one, there are a lot of content to discover in this game. Plus, thanks to new Style and Art systems, fighting a monster has never been as dynamic and satisfying as with Monster Hunter Generations.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a worthy sequel to its predecessor. Everything is finally more fluid, less austere, while keeping the strengths of the first part. In short, a very good title and a real must-have on Nintendo Switch.

Nearly on par with the Portal series, The Talos Principle is a refreshing title. Thanks to its many smart ideas and inspired puzzles. Game of not-so-obvious challenges, it will demand some patience for sure, but it's really worth your time.

Cities Skylines is the true successor to Sim City. Rich and complex, it is nevertheless very accessible, thanks to its exemplary interface.

Metroid: Samus Returns is a powerful remake of the old Game Boy classic. By taking so much freedom from the original, Mercury Steam delivers a solid version, which still suffers from the structure of it. Much more narrowed than other games in the series, Metroid: Samus Returns only becomes a real blast through its last sections, but still offers a good run for every fan of the genre.

Despite some obvious technological flaws, this remake not only preserves all the proven and innovative qualities of Dragon Quest VIII, but also improves them in every possible way, crowning the Journey of the Cursed King with its most accomplished rendition. A blessing for the series' already best episode.

Level-5 and Ghibli. Improbable just a few years ago, such and alliance of the little prince of the RPG and the king of Japanese animation gives birth to a super classical RPG, with no need for the magnificent spellbook that was given with the portable version. But in this PS3 take, Ninokuni doesn't really aim at younger gamers anymore. Paradoxically, the very light and sensible style of Ghibli does not give life to the best RPG in the world, but attempts to open up a way to an adventure with quiet strength.

UFC Undisputed 2010 is far more than a big update, despite its little flaws (most notably its disappointing online mode). The game is incredibly comprehensive, much more fluid and well animated than the previous one, and will undoubtedly please MMA fans. Granted, the gameplay may not be a revolutionary one, but it is substantial enough, and quite technical (maybe too much, some might say), to last you weeks and even months. If you thought the 2009 version was efficient enough, simply think about the 100 fighters of this 2010 one, and you will probably fall for it.

Legend of Grimrock 2 remains very similar to the first Legend of Grimrock, and that is exactly what was expected of it. The island's open level design adds a layer of difficulty at first, but you just learn to survive step after step and experience kicks in: you don't forget to save often anymore. Legend of Grimrock 2 is a very good game, but not for everybody. Only gamers who raised their voices against the lord of boring games can be sent there.

Indeed, this collection doesn't add a lot of significant stuff, the mini-games aren't all that interesting. But without a doubt, for fans of platformers who didn't get a chance to sink their teeth into the episodes of this incredible franchise, it's a golden opportunity to play 3 great games who didn't age a bit, except maybe the original.

BioWare studio wanted to redeem itself for the not-so-convincing Dragon Age II. This episode is one of its finest productions. Amazing environments that take hours to get explored, greats quests with some hard decisions to make, fantastic characters and a great combat system: Dragon Age :Inquisition will probably become a masterpiece for anyone who's been in love with Dungeons & Dragons or Tolkien's books for a long time.

As refreshing and innovative as ever, Super Mario Bros. Wonder makes a triumphant return on Nintendo Switch 2. The brilliant recipe from 2023 remains intact, enhanced by visual improvements and new bonus content. Players will delight in exploring Bellabel Park, its mini-games, and its hidden secrets. Even though this brand-new area can only be experienced in multiplayer mode, the single-player adventure remains just as flawless and now boasts additional characters to help out the Flower Kingdom. This new version is aimed primarily at those who have never played the original or at fans who love multiplayer experiences.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim dives us into a complex story, mixing heroes, periods of time and themes to deliver a love letter to Japanese science fiction. Curiously, the game is strictly divided between phases, switching from narrative story-driven thumbnails to minimalist strategy fights, delivering a strange but satisfying experience for every Japan lover and 2D aesthete.

The Zelda license returns magically to Nintendo Switch with a title that brings a welcomed breath of fresh air. Giving us the unprecedented opportunity to embody the Princess herself, Echoes of Wisdom carries the legacy of an entire license to which it brings its load of (small) new additions. Grezzo has succeeded in combining the feeling of dungeon exploration that many fans have been missing, with gameplay directly inspired by Tears of the Kingdom. In this way, the game manages to appeal to fans both past and present, for an experience which proves that even after almost 40 years, Nintendo's historic IPs know how to renew themselves and, above all, don't hesitate to dare. After such an opus, we can only ask for even more ambition for future 2D Zelda games.

The benchmark of boxing games on consoles is setting the bar once more thanks to EA Canada's talent. They didn't transform the franchise completely, proposing instead an even more realistic rendering and a very alluring accessibility. Maybe some hardcore simulation-craving gamers would find some things to argue about (like some shortcomings in terms of gameplay precision, a lack of realism on some specific moves) but it would be a shame not to play this new reference of virtual boxing.

The Outer Worlds is a great space opera action-RPG, with some great art, a lot of humor, and mechanics similar to Fallout, which can please the fans... by the creators of Fallout!

In itself, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered fulfills its mission: fully exploit the power of the PS5 and PC to make the original game more beautiful than ever and on the same level as the magnificent Forbidden West. However, with the exception of the full support of the DualSense controller, we can regret the absence of new features and improvements to the gameplay. The upgrade from PS4 to PS5 with three convincing graphic modes at 10 euros may be worth the cost, but the same cannot really be said about buying the Remaster full price or on a PC version graphically extremely solid, even to this day.

Capcom put everyone straight in 2009 with Street Fighter IV. The company then hammered it in with Super Street Fighter IV in 2010. And now in 2011, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition sets itself, easily, as the best fighting game on all portable consoles. Gamers can feel like walking on clouds, now that they can play with a super comprehensive fighting game everywhere.

A correct port, which doesn't benefit as much as one would think from the Wii U GamePad touch screen. Still the only way to hold this galaxy in the palm of your hands.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light establishes itself as a truly entertaining, easy to handle spin-off, that offers a real refreshment to the saga. The game is challenging, long enough, and one gets used to the isometric 3D... yet with a longing for the time when one could still enjoy the gorgeous curves of the beautiful raider in full frontal glory.

Widely acclaimed when it first came out in 2006, Final Fantasy XII is now coming out for Nintendo Switch through its Zodiac Age Remaster, realeased for PS4 in 2017. It's basically the same game, with minor visual flaws, but we won't complain for it's the first time we can enjoy this generous and enchanting journey on a handheld system.

More than a testament to JRPGs timeless traditions, Bravely Default represents the contemporary quintessence of this genre through the inspired use of technology and its audacious gameplay mechanics.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is in every way superior to Fallen Order. A real big sequel extremely generous on all levels, which multiplies the novelties. Whether it's in terms of structure, by offering infinitely larger regions than the first opus, or even open worlds that can be explored, or in terms of gameplay. Cal may be an accomplished Jedi from the start, but his rise to power is clear throughout the game. Battles, as well as exploration, benefit from a ton of new features that totally revitalize the recipe and still leave plenty of room for manoeuvre for a possible sequel. The only downside is that Jedi Survivor is so easy on the narrative that it completely undermines the game and its dramatic dimension. Some twists and characters are shoehorned in and also lose some of their beauty. An excellent game that doesn't lack much to be unmissable.

Starfield is a true system seller. More than a game, it's an epic poem. An extremely rich and generous adventure that surprises you every time and when you least expect it. It is by far the most ambitious Bethesda’s game and one of the boldest games of the last few years. For sure, Starfield will go down in the history of video games.

Night in The Woods is a surprising narrative game whose childish graphic style hides a resolutely adult story, through the themes it addresses between two laughing dialogues of a rare quality.

Technically very close to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, Assassin's Creed III on the Wii U takes advantage of some interesting (but is not revolutionary) innovations. The map and the few commands on the GamePad screen are nice, as is the ability to play without TV, on the GamePad itself, but for the rest, the experience is the same and AC3 remains an excellent game.

No need to Argue, Continuum Shift is a real gem, like its predecessor was. Its 2D visuals are more impressive than ever, is gameplay modes comprehensive, its characters unique and the changes they went through balanced the game enough to make it one of the top fighting games on HD consoles. Even the Online Versus play has been enhanced, and is now more comfortable, with solo play in-between duels like in SSFIV. Last but not least, BBCS has tutorial modes and a system to ease some combos, to ease in newcomers and make it more accessible.

Hotline Miami wants you dead! And he'll get satisfaction. The worst is, despite certain, repeated humiliation, despite death and outrages, you'll love it.

If you love the franchise as much as we do, then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a great pick-up. An stylish tribute to the series and Turtles in Time, but also an excellent beat'em'all with a delightful soundtrack and a marvelous pixel-art. It's pizza time!

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the most complete and the most beautiful version of the loveable but imperfect RPG. If you own a good PC and are interested in Noctis' adventures, you can jump right in without any fear, just be sure its messy combat system, generic quests and quite strange scenario won't bother you.

Rocket League is a simple but fun game, where a simple idea (playing football with cars) delivers an addictive and rewarding gameplay.

Almost perfect visually (depending on the platform), Crysis 2 delivers a solo campaign that is less spectacular than expected. It's not as easy as we'd hoped to dive into this New York atmosphere, hit by an ongoing catastrophe... Crytek didn't hook me, despite the intensity of the fights. Fortunately, the multiplayer is really fun, with mechanics that induce a level of challenge that relies completely on players' skill level.

Control Ultimate Edition on PS5 is still a great game, and its enhancements are pleasant - Ray Tracing or 60 fps, it's up to you - even if we could have asked for something more with the DualSense. If you've never met Jesse Faden and never been to the Bureau, it's time.

DOOM The Dark Ages puts us in a rather delicate position. On the one hand, we absolutely loved playing as the Slayer in a disproportionate medieval universe, thanks to a gameplay both "old-school" and modern, more brutal and enjoyable than ever, and even more accessible. On the other hand, the studio's attempts to bring more depth to the franchise's lore and game mechanics fell seriously flat overall. That didn't however stop us from having a monstrous blast eviscerating armies of demons, with a graphical and technical slap that was still as masterful as ever.

Metal Gear Solid Delta is an excellent remake that will appeal to both longtime fans and new players alike. Its visual overhaul and modernized gameplay make it a huge hit and relaunch the franchise in a positive direction, much like Silent Hill 2 Remake did. Unlike the latter, however, there is no risk-taking here. Metal Gear Solid Delta is a 1:1 remake peppered with fan service. While it allows players to discover this masterpiece, it adds nothing new. The game retains all its flavor, quality, and flaws, which mainly concern its gameplay inaccuracies and AI weaknesses from another era. In an effort not to offend anyone by offering a game that takes no risks, Konami sometimes creates a strange sense of dissonance between nostalgia and modernity. This results in gameplay issues that didn't exist at the time, as well as mechanics that no longer seem as coherent as they once did. That said, it's hard not to enjoy it and recommend it, as it's currently the best way to discover this incredible game.

Frostpunk 2 brilliantly continues the legacy of the first game by deepening moral dilemmas and adding complex political mechanisms. Every decision matters, whether it’s to satisfy a faction or meet the immediate needs of the city. The game asks a fundamental question: how far are you willing to go for your society to thrive in a frozen world? If you enjoyed the first Frostpunk or appreciate games that blend strategy with moral reflection, Frostpunk 2 is a must-play.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales is a fantastic way to extend the original game, with the same strengths and weaknesses. This game is not already using the full potential of PS5, but it still is a great adventure that will totally conquer fans of Spider-Man with its universe, pretty good ideas and soundtrack.

Probably one of the best platforms to enjoy the addictive and singular Hotline Miami. It plays very well thanks to the dual sticks, the touche screen adds targeting options, and the crisp screen of the Vita allows for a perfect rendering of this flashy, pixelated universe. Seeing as it is crossbuy as well (PS3/Vita), it's a no-brainer.

We usually just play video games. With Amnesia, we play at scaring ourselves. You need to build some kind of relationship with this game, and let yourself be drawn in. If everything goes well (or rather, badly), you will really scare yourself shitless, and ask for more. Amnesia costs only 15 euros. There's a demo you can try for free ; if you're not afraid at all after playing it, then maybe it's not for you - but it's easy to try, and would be a shame to miss such an adventure.

With Forza Horizon, Microsoft Games succeeds in blending the Forza spirit with open-world gameplay. It's an all-new atmosphere for racers to discover, with miles and miles of roads to race on with a true driving experience and sensations. But this new open-world philosophy could have been better exploited with more variety and fun, especially in multiplayer ; as is, it feels a little incomplete.

If Assassin's Creed Origins is not perfect, it perfectly understood what it had to do to regain the hearts of the players and fans of the series. In addition to delivering the mysterious and fascinating ancient Egypt on a silver plate, in an absolutely gigantic open world, full of activities and secrets to discover, it succeeds in transforming its gameplay by brilliantly integrating RPG elements and completely renewing, with no less talent, its combat system. It will literally absorbs you for dozens and dozens of hours. Assassin's Creed Origins succeeds in taking care of its fans and its fundamentals, while starting its own revolution. We can only hope that the subsequent episodes will keep this momentum.

Batman Arkham Shadow is one of the best VR games on the market, although it’s only available on Meta Quest 3 at this time. Not only is it a very good Batman Arkham that respects the universe in which it infiltrates, but as a bonus it is an extremely well-designed game. Its combat system, directly inspired by that of the other games in the franchise, is simply incredible although very tiring. We really fight at last, miming hooks, uppercuts and other special shots. From fighting, to using gadgets, to movements for exploration, everything is extremely well done. The rhythm is at the top, the game keeps us in breath more than a dozen hours without forcing and as a bonus it turns out to be rather beautiful. Batman Arkham Shadow is clearly a must for all Meta Quest 3 helmet owners, but be careful, being Batman is not easy, it’s very, very physical.

The Stick of Truth is made like a JRPG in its gameplay and like a good 20 hours long episode of South Park in its story. And we love it.

After years of anticipation and numerous previews, we can finally confirm it: Pragmata is indeed the surprise we’ve been waiting for. With refreshing gameplay and a pair of highly endearing protagonists, Capcom’s new franchise plunges us into the heart of a fabulous world that we enjoy roaming from start to finish, despite a few minor flaws here and there. And while these flaws may prevent the game from having as significant impact as we originally hoped for, it remains a resounding success for the studio, which continues to deliver new, original games that are a breath of fresh air.

Tunic is a masterpiece of adventure and exploration. More than a tribute to Zelda, it is a game that deserves your full attention.

Shadow Tactics is a fantastic successor of the best stealth-tactical games like Commandos or Desperados.

A wonderful demonstration of Nintendo's expertise, Super Smash Bros. is both accessible and deep. A refined formula that transcends the capabilities of the 3DS to offer an amazing game. A statement for lovers of pure gaming and a paradise for Nintendo fans.

With Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Square Enix did an excellent job. If you did not play these episodes 12 years ago on PS2, then this is undoubtedly now or never.

You may imagine that it's mainly going to be a tribute to games like Mega Man, Castlevania or Duck Tales, but Shovel Knight is a unique game with its own original ideas, an incredible level design, a perfect feeling and great visual and audio that appeal to all nostalgic gamers. Out 25 years ago, it would probably be considered as a classic nowadays.

FRAMED is a brilliant puzzle game that you can't quit one you've started playing it. Even if it's too short, the experience is memorable for what it does great: its mechanics feel great, it's beautiful, well-rhythmed, with a fantastic jazz score. A must have for any smartphone/tablet owner.

A truly pleasant follow-up to PES 2016. With a few new tactical features and some refinements in terms of gameplay, PES 2017 succeeds in delivering a strong soccer experience to those who love that sport. Even without bringing truly fresh ideas to the formula it is definitely a strong entry in the series.

Press X to pay your respect to one of the greatest, if not the best, rhythm games on PS4. The DJ Max series is back with more than 140 tunes to rock your living room. The only thing that can be bothering is the use of analog sticks during a few tracks, but who cares when you are having such a blast 99% of the time? If you like (very) good rhythm game and music, this one is a must-have.

MVC3 will, no doubt, seduce any fan, thanks to its spectacular gameplay and production, but also thanks to its accessibility and varied cast. But, when your take some time to think about it a little, it's hard not to consider that Capcom's title stays quite light in terms of game modes, of online play, and almost insulting in its DLC policy. It remains a awe-inspiring show of sound and lights, with a unique atmosphere. Hard to miss.

Nioh 2 is a great action RPG game, with plenty of content, a good gameplay and a nice artistic direction. The game doesn't have any major default and is quite amazing.

Something like Frozen Synapse could only come from the indie scene. A tactical, turn-based simultaneous simulator. Mode 7 gives us a rich and enticing gameplay base, with a appealing universe and smart multiplayer on top, and room to grow it even further.

Nioh 3 is the culmination of a decade spent exploring different approaches across several games in the same franchise, as well as attempts to create new ones. One might have thought that the transition to an open world would have caused it to lose its identity, but this is not the case. Team Ninja delivers a solid and very demanding action game here, and sometimes even somewhat punishing. Our salvation lies in the gameplay, which is unparalleled in its richness and depth. Two play styles, a vast array of weapons, and a hundred skills allow us to create a personalized gameplay experience that suits our individual preferences. Ultimately, everything culminates in a frenetic dance of blades with what is arguably the most dynamic combat system ever seen in a souls-like game. The legacy of Ninja Gaiden and FromSoftware games is ever-present, but so is the classic open-world formula. Fortunately, the execution is impeccable and engaging enough to completely immerse us in its world. We'll only be pulled out of this immersion by getting lost in the overwhelming amount of loot and an avalanche of statistics that will only appeal to theorycrafting enthusiasts.

It's a great thing to have The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch. Players will be able to (re)discover one the best games of the past years - with its two expansions- and take it everywhere they want. If you're not too disappointed by the visual downgrade, a needed sacrifice in order to have it running quite smoothly, and don't try it on a TV, on which it's painful to watch, everything is going to be fine Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, and this epic and engaging dark fantasy adventure.

Football Manager 2022 is no exception to the rule established by its long line: rule without sharing. This is exactly what the Sports Interactive game will do this season, as much by the absence of competition as by an impeccable mastery of its subject, reinforced by new features more likely to improve playing comfort. The Covid has certainly played, but this edition still lacks major changes to mark the occasion. When it comes to being the indisputable owner of your Steam library, football fan, you know the answer.

Even though the Yakuza series is more than 10 years old, Yakuza 0 feels like a fresh new start on PS4. The fact that the story takes place before Yakuza 1 makes Yakuza 0 the perfect starting point for new gamers. The game takes place in an incredible recreation of Japan near the end of its "Bubble Economy" and makes gamers feel as if they are in Japan during that time. The game manages to be both very serious and incredibly funny and, cherry on the cake, gives players a ton of things to do. Yakuza 0 is truly one of the better episodes of the series.

The Nintendo Switch 2 made the choice to add Cyberpunk 2077 to its list of launch games, and this was clearly not a good idea. Unfortunately, it's neither good for the console, which we know is capable of much better, nor for the game, which we can't fully enjoy as it deserves. The game is ugly, no matter which mode you choose, and of the 4 possibilities for playing it, only one remains viable and will still require you to make major concessions: Performance mode with the console in its dock. For the rest, it's best to pass. It's a pity, because this version of Cyberpunk 2077 makes excellent use of the feature that transforms the Joy-Con into a mouse, the sensations are very good, and as a bonus it includes the Phantom Liberty DLC and all the updates released to date. It was ambitious, and well attempted, but it falls flat. Asking gamers for 70€ and telling them to make concessions, at the very launch of a new console, is just not possible. So avoid it, unless you really have no choice but to play the game for a very long time.

MLB The Show 2017 has now become the best baseball game, in terms of game modes, gameplay innovations and graphics. It should be considered as one of the best sports simulations available.

If Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 obviously doesn't look as good as its PlayStation or Xbox counterparts, it's still a fun skateboard experience to take with you anywhere you want.

Death's Door is a nervous action game that transcends Acid Nerve's old formula. Thanks to a clever difficulty, fights with brand new situations, a rewarding exploration and a beautiful soundtrack, Death's Door is the perfect well-balanced experience of this summer, despite a very light pathfinding.
